Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for March 1, 2026

We hear from Alyssa Marino, who is in the middle of Winter Storm Hernando in Nyack, New York. The following episode is from Championship Wrestling, and Gotham Wrestling will be back when it is safe to go back to Levity Live.

Mathis and Jordan Cruz head to the ring to start this week's show. Jordan Cruz says the fans should be showing a little more gratitude, as UWN is the best wrestling company in the world and has the best champion representing it. He says that things have been smooth sailing ever since he beat Danny Limelight for the World Champion. He says that UWN is finding new companies and new places for him to go to, and he will be defending the UWN World Championship against Hammerstone at Sunday Night Slam. He says Hammerstone will not kill him and will die trying, because nobody can touch him. Jordan Cruz says that he will be World Champion for as long as he wants, and until then, he must stay sharp, and he will be having a non-title warm-up match against anyone who wants to try their luck with him. The challenge is answered by Jake Redondo.

Jordan Cruz beats Jake Redondo.

Alex Gracia beats "Mack Daddy" Mylo.

Nearly Average Wrestling owner Shane Hartline heads to the ring. Hartline says he is back and that he keeps his promises, for tonight, it feels so good to announce that "Outlandinsh" Zicky Dice is completely done with professional wrestling. He says that he is a Hollywood guy, not a bad guy, and that he gave Zicky a role in his first film. He then announces Zicky's co-star as well as his newest client, Marty "The Moth" Martinez. Marty the Moth heads to the ring, and talks about how filming took place in Abu Dhabi and how he rode camels with Leonardo DiCaprio, who told him to live in the moment. We then see footage of Marty slapping Zicky Dice on Power Slap. Marty says that Zicky method acted so much that he broke four bones in three slaps and have never been able to return to the ring ever again, then he and Hartline thank Zicky Dice for leaving the business and allowing for Marty to come home.

We hear from The Wolf Zaddies (Che Cabrera and Bad Dude Tito). Che Cabrera says that Bad Dude Tito is back at 100%. Bad Dude Tito says that he is not happy with Daddy Limelight and that the two of them are coming for the UWN Tag Team Championships.

The Evantourage ("Main Evant" Evan Daniels, Bryce Saturn, Damian Desire) beats Rob McKnight, Fidel Bravo and Gregory Sharpe in a six-man tag match when Bravo tags himself in as Sharpe has Daniels where he wants him, allowing Daniels to hit a low blow for the pin and the win.

At The Derby - Derby City Wrestling recap for July 9, 2023

Jordan Cruz beats Rob McKnight to qualify for the Golden Opportunity Tournament. During the match, Dylan Bostic shows up and watches from the stage, which gets the attention of Rob McKnight and almost costs McKnight the match. After the match, Dylan Bostic praises Jordan Cruz for being almost as good as he is before declaring him the winner of the match himself.

We see a video package for Dylan Bostic.

Jonny Loquasto is in the ring. He says that the 2023 Golden Opportunity Tournament is on the horizon, with three wild entries while the rest are competitors who have competed and qualified. Loquasto announces that the United Wrestling Network has its first wild card entrant in the tournament: "Outlandish" Zicky Dice, who shows up before Loquasto can mention him. Zicky Dice says he did not need the warm welcome, because he is "over as hell." He then teases what is in his fanny pack before yelling "Tough shit!", then says this is his time now and that there is nobody here who can shut him up. When the fans boo him, he says that the booing does not hurt him and that it actually turns him on. Zicky also prays that the UWN stops accepting food stamps as payment to watch the show, then says he is sick and tired of being underutilitized, making everyone laugh and his peers passing him up. He says he should have a load of merchandise, then says it should be no surprise that he is a wild card entrant and that it is his time now. Zicky states that it does not matter who his opponent is, as there is nobody in the United Wrestling Network who will take his opportunity away from him, as he is the future face of the company and it is time everyone saw "another side of the Dice." Zicky then demands that Loquasto wishes him luck in the tournament, which Loquasto does, then Zicky Dice says he does not need luck. Zicky turns to leave, then nearly punches Loquasto in the face.

Brynn Thorne beats Mylo with the Rings of Saturn.

Backstage, Megan Harmon interviews Kevin Blackwood. Blackwood says it has been a rough time for him right now and all he wants to do is work, and thanks Jonny Loquasto and the United Wrestling Network when "Benevolent" Jack Banning shows up. He says it is about time Blackwood is here, but he is showing gratitude to the wrong people and that he wanted this for him, as he knows what is going on with him and he wanted this opportunity for him. He says that everyone is congratuling him for getting to wrestle Blackwood and that while some people are concerned he will lose his title, he is not one of those people, for Blackwood is in his element now and that the ring is his, and thratens to gouge his eyes out if he rolls his eyes at him one more time. This leads to a staredown between Blackwood and Banning.

24K (Michael Hopkins and Miggy Rose) beat - and outsmart - The Institution (Brendan Divine and Honest John) after Brendan Divine pins Michael Hopkins only to find out that Miggy Rose is the legal man and not Hopkins, leading to Rose sneaking up behind Divine and pinning him with a schoolkid pin to win.

Backstage, Jonny Loquasto runs into Kevin Martenson and lets him that Bateman has a shot at the United Heritage Championship and that he will challenge whoever between him and Jakob Austin Young - whom Loquasto warns Martenson not to look past - tonight.

Kevin Martenson retains the United Heritage Championship against Jakob Austin Young. After the match, Martenson notices Bateman on his way out and has a confrontation with him on the stage to end the show.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling by CarShield recap for March 26, 2023

The Institution ("Benevolent" Jack Banning, Honest, Divine, Savanna Stone) heads to the ring to start this week's show. Jack Banning says he would love to say that the United Television Championship is a culmination of hard work, then admits that he got it because he outsmarted all of his opponents as well as the United Wrestling Network. He says that he has been held back since showing up in the United Wrestling Network and that The Institution has been censored to look like the bad guys, and that he has been kept from opportunities that he has deserved. He says that all that matters is that if someone makes money and is marketable and well-liked, and that pandering to people got him nowhere. He says that he and The Institution have elevated each other and that they are getting their time back. He says that he was never popular or marketable and never made any money for the company, and that when he won the United Television titles, all the red flags went off and the sponsors complained. Banning says that the company has sicked Willie Mack on him because they are panicking, and that he needs this title that Willie Mack never won. He states that Championship Wrestling will be presented by The Institution and that their message will be televised.

Savanna Stone beats Mylo.

Backstage, Beef Candy (Richie Slade and Flex McCallion) meet with Jonny Loquasto over TMDK (Che Cabrera and Bad Dude Tito) getting a tag team title match before them. Loquasto mentions their eight-man tag victory, but that TMDK got the pin and that Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend) are still owed a title rematch. Loquasto tells Beef Candy that in two weeks, they will face Reno Scum one more time, and if they can beat them, they will be guaranteed a tag team title match.

Final Destination (Charles "R-Three" Cassus, Bryce Saturn, Evan Daniels) beat Guy Cool and 24K (Michael Hopkins and Miggy Rose).

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Danny Limelight and Slice Boogie. Slice Boogie reminds Danny Limelight that he had to help him with Talos in order for him to win the United World Championship and that they failed to help Papo Esco, and says Danny Limelight has forgotten where he came from before leaving. Danny Limelight says Slice Boogie is fine and that injuries change people, and that he will put Zicky Dice down.

Levi Shapiro beats Dom Kubrick after Halston Boddy distracts the referee as he approaches Shapiro on the outside so that Sledge can take Kubrick out with a lariat.

Backstage, Jeremy McPete interviews Kevin Martenson, who says that he barely survived the fight of his life against B-Boy and that he is still feeling it from that match, and that he is still accepting challenges for the United Heritage Championship. Suddenly, Charles "R-Three" Cassus attacks Martenson from behind and looks at the United Heritage title.

Che Cabrera guests on commentary for the next match.

TMDK ("Hysterical" Shane Haste and Bad Dude Tito) beat The Midnight Heat ("Rockin'" Ricky Gibson and "Precious" Eddie Pearl) to become the United World Tag Team Champions after Che Cabrera stops Eddie Pearl from using one of the tag team title belts as a weapon and takes it away only for Gibson to inadvertently knock Pearl off the apron and head-first into the title belt.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by CarShield recap for October 16, 2022

Johnny Loquasto introduces D'Lo Brown to the ring. Loquasto notes that D'Lo Brown has in his hands a contract for the United World Championship, and D'Lo Brown says it feels like he has waited for an eternity to stand before the United Wrestling Network faithful. D'Lo Brown then mentions that the contract is for #1 contender Danny Limelight, who arrives and heads to the ring. Danny Limelight wants to know "Where's the Golden Boy?" The Embassy shows up, and "The Golden Boy" Jordan Clearwater says Limelight never graduated from high school and got his GED, as he seems to have forgotten that he calls the shots around here. Clearwater says that he does what he wants, beats who he wants and that Championship Wrestling is his place and birthplace. He says that he will not sign the contract unless he feels like it and nobody can do anything about it. He says that he is the mountaintop and that Limelight is chasing him and at the bottom looking up at what he can't have, then Limelight says he has been at the bottom his whole life and has proven people wrong, and that the fans can relate. Limelight says he does everything he does for his kids and his legacy, and while Jordan Clearwater is champion, he is the heart and passion of the comapny. He says Clearwater calls himself a "Golden Boy," but all he sees is "a Golden Bitch." He says that Clearwater's birthright is his destiny, and while Clearwater can sign whenever he wants, he will sign the contract right now. Limelight signs the contract. Clearwater then approaches the contract, then waves it off and walks away.
