Collision Course - Collision recap for September 13, 2025

Ian Riccaboni interviews MJF to the ring to start tonight's show. MJF makes fun of the fans, saying they are so poor that they cannot pay attention and that anyone whose head the joke goes over is as stupid as Mark Briscoe. He states that he cost Mark Briscoe a title shot because Mark cost him one, then says that Briscoe only says he is happy to be blue collar because it is the only reason why he isn't taking pills and drinking Jack Daniels. He says that he has no problem with Mark Briscoe choosing the stipulation for their match because men like him work hard but do not get anywhere, then says "blue collar will bust and white collar will win." Mark Briscoe shows up on the video screen and thanks MJF for proving him with a sense of excitement that he has not felt in so long, then announces that their match will be a TNT - Tables 'n Thumbtacks - Match. Mark then says that he will give MJF a beating that has been a long time coming, then tells MJF to turn around. MJF turns around to see Mark hit him with a Spear, and both men brawl in the ring. Mark gets the upper hand and dumps some thumbtacks out of a black bag and into the ring, but when he goes for the Jay Driller, Mark breaks out and runs to the back.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong and Hologram. We briefly see a loading screen for the evil Hologram clone before O'Reilly expresses his disappointment regarding Daniel Garcia's recent actions. He also says that Adam Cole called him, saying that he is ashamed to have ever called Garcia a friend. Roddy says that he will beat Daniel Garcia and Jon Moxley's asses after everything Garcia has put them through. After Roddy leaves, Kyle O'Reilly reaches out to Hologram to make sure he is real, then he and Hologram leave.

Backstage in footage from earlier today, Lexy Nair interviews Kris Statlander, Harley Cameron, TayJay (Anna Jay and Tay Melo) and Jamie Hayter. Harley says they are a team tonight, but Tay Melo is reluctant to team with Kris Statlander and Anna Jay wants nothing to do with the Death Riders situation. Kris Statlander says she has nothing to do with them and has to deal with someone who took their heads off, and Jamie Hayter says they are not friends and that she will do anything to become Women's World Champion again.

"Timeless" Toni Storm then leaps off the commentary table and hits a bunch of people with a cross body before giving Thekla the ground and pound. Statlander and Hayter brawl, but both of them go down at the same time. As most everyone brawls their way to the back, Thekla goes for a Spear on Toni Storm in the ring only for Toni to counter it with Storm Zero.

"Platinum" Max Caster's five-minute open challenge is answered by Big Bill.

Big Bill beats "Platinum" Max Caster in a five-minute open challenge match with 3:07 (three minutes, seven seconds) left. After the match, Big Bill calls out Eddie Kingston, wanting to know where he is. He says that "Platinum" Max Caster had the balls to show up, then talks about how he called Kingston out only for the Internet wrestling community to get angry at him for doing it. Big Bill says that the people love Kingston because he looks like he does and represents the fans, then says that fans hate him because he looks like he does, and he is sick of it. He also makes fun of Kingston worshipping multiple Japanese wrestling legends, saying his does not care about Japanese pro wrestling, Eddie Kingston or any of the fans. Big Bill then challenges Kingston to a match at All Out, then makes fun of the fans for thinking Kingston will have the balls to show up and says Kingston won't show up because he is "a typical loudmouth fraud."

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Anthony Bowens and Jerry Lynn. As Jerry Lynn tells Bowens to look in the mirror and ask himself who is missing, "Platinum" Max Caster shoves Bowens on his way to the back and gets promptly beaten up by Bowens for it. The brawl soon makes its way to the ring, and Jerry Lynn has to step in. Bowens nearly hits Jerry Lynn when Jerry interferes, and Jerry mentions how they were both brought into AEW and how they both became tag team champions after fighting to the top. He then mentions both of them thinking they would have a great singles run only to not even win one match, and says that Bowens has floundered in the mid-card. Bowens walks away, and Jerry takes that as Bowens being unable to take the heat. Blake Christian and "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson show up and makes fun of Jerry Lynn for wanting to be "Daddy Ass #2" and trying to put The Acclaimed back together when he should be investing in a real tag team like The Swirl. He then states that he and Lee Johnson will show Jerry Lynn what he is missing. Jerry Lynn rips his shirt off and starts fighting Lee Johnson, and Max Caster helps Jerry Lynn to even the numbers game. Anthony Bowens turns around, heads back into the ring, and helps out both Max Caster and Jerry Lynn. Caster and Bowens end up working together again to clean house in the ring.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Mistico. He is soon interrupted by MJF and Jon Cruz dressed like Abraham Lincoln, and MJF brags about what he will do to Mark Briscoe before stating that he cannot wait to end him. MJF leaves and Jon Cruz translates only to get slapped. Mistico tells MJF that he will see him next week.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) beat Adam Priest and "The Dynamite Kid" Tommy Billington after Cash pulls a turnbuckle cover off and exposes a turnbuckle as Priest has him in a submission hold. Dax uses the ropes to break Billington's submission attempt, and after Cash deals with Priest on the outside, FTR hit Billington with the spike piledriver for the win.
