Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for September 7, 2025

Jack Farmer interviews Vipress at the start of the show. Vipress says that she has beaten Alex Gracia before, and if she wants her ass handed to her again, they can go. Gracia soon shows up and confronts Vipress, and officials have to stop the inevitable brawl.

Jonny Loquasto announces that next week, there will be another title match for the main event. He then introduces the current UWN Heritage Champion, "Poppin'" EJ Sparks. Loquasto then announces Sparks' next opponent for his title, who is the toughest yet: Johnny United (aka Johnny TV in AEW and ROH). Sparks talks about how he first saw Johnny United - then known as Johnny Nitro - when he watched wrestling as a kid, and how the way he wrestles was directly inspired by Johnny. He says that the Heritage Championship means a lot to him and that he has had banger after banger in the ring, and wants to meet Johnny before the match. Johnny shows up and heads to the ring, and Sparks says it is an honor to defend the title against him and be in the ring with him. Johnny replies with a punch to the face followed by a beatdown before he holds up the Heritage Championship and says the best man will win.

Backstage, Jack Farmer is met by G.U.N.K. (Rob McKnight and Casanova Valentine). Once again, their plan to stay undefeated is to just keep winning.

Alex Gracia beats Vipress after using the bottom rope for leverage.

G.U.N.K. (Rob McKnight and Casanova Valentine) beat Jake Redondo and Joey Lancaster. After the match, Delirium's (Slade and McCallion) leader shows up. He says he would congratulate G.U.N.K., but he is not a liar. He goes on to insult Valentine's looks before saying "Well done" to McKnight. He says that he is impressed with Joey Lancaster and that he is remembering who he is, but Jake Redondo fails to understand that this is a war, not a gymnastics act. He suggests to Lancaster that if he does not want to spend the rest of his career looking at the light, he should rethink who he picks as a tag team partner. This drives a wedge between Lancaster and Redondo.

We hear from Fidel Bravo, who says that he gets the opportunity he has been begging for after ten years and that he will not let it go to waste.

Mathias beats Halex after avoiding a top rope Swanton Bomb.

We hear from Brandon Cutler, who says that every time someone challenges him, he wins. He then says that he wants a championship, and next week, he wants to defeat a long-time Television Champion. Cutler then challenges "Outlandish" Zicky Dice to a match next week.

David Marquez announces that the United Wrestling Network is coming to the Lorain Palace Theatre in Lorain, Ohio on March 28, 2026.

Jordan Cruz retains the UWN World Championship against Fidel Bravo following the distraction by The Epic.
