Raw Deal - Raw recap for August 11, 2025

It is announced that Naomi is not medically cleared to compete tonight and that her match with Iyo Sky is not happening tonight.

CM Punk heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Punk talks about how he became World Heavyweight Champion at SummerSlam, yet feels he has let the fans down after Seth "Freakin'" Rollins cashed in on him, and if he was relentless and obsessed before, he is even more so now. He says that Rollins is following in his footsteps and pretending to be him and pretending to be injured, then tells Rollins that he will take his title back and that Rollins will be injured for real after he breaks his legs. Suddenly, LA Knight heads to the ring. Knight says that Punk was robbed and that he deserves to have his rematch beyond a shadow of a doubt, yet Punk got involved in his match last week and got him disqualified, costing him a title shot. He says that Punk was at the right place at the wrong time, and while he does want to have any problems with Punk and he wants Punk to whip Rollins' ass, he wants him to wait until after the bell rings. After Knight says Punk will get his rematch after he gets his, Punk reminds him that he saved his life and career from Rollins and that he has yet to claim he has been a world champion, and tells him to go to the back of the line. Knight says there is levels to this, and while Punk is best in the world, he is not on his level. Knight then does Punk two favors: forget last week happened as long as Punk does not do it again and beat Seth Rollins and become champion. then make Punk his first title defense. As Punk responds, Paul Heyman, "Big" Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker shows up, and Heyman briefly speaks French and makes fun of the language before telling LA Knight not to get into "the favor business" with CM Punk. Heyman tells Knight that doing so will cost him everything in his life and career, then Punk tells Heyman to stop being a crybaby and says somebody is getting punched in the face tonight, and he does not care if it is him, Breakker or Bronson. This gives Heyman an idea, and proposes CM Punk and LA Knight vs. Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed for tonight. Punk is up for the challenge, as is Knight. Breakker almost runs down the ramp, but Bronson hold him down as Breakker makes fun of Punk and Knight for being over 40.

Backstage, The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez) meet regarding the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships when "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up with El Grande Americano, who everyone else is surprised to see. Finn talks with Dominik, and Dominik says he wants to use Americano to his advantage at Triplemania.

"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano beat "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Dragon Lee when Dominik loads his mask with the metal plate after El Grande Americano drops the plate after getting kicked in the head by Styles.

In backstage footage form earlier today, Sami Zayn meets with General Manager Adam Pearce regarding a road to the World Heavyweight Championship. Sami says they will talk about it after tonight, then Sheamus shows up. Pearce says he cannot have a repeat of what happened between Sheamus and Rusev. Sami asks Sheamus not to get involved in his match with Rusev tonight. Sheamus agrees, but states that Rusev is his after the match is over.

Backstage, Iyo Sky meets with General Manager Adam Pearce, who says that he will keep her posted on her match with Naomi. Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez show up, saying that Iyo does not have to worry about losing to Naomi again. This leads to Iyo challenging Roxanne to a match, which Pearce makes official.

Sami Zayn beats Rusev by disqualification after Solo Sikoa and his crew (Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, JC Mateo). After the match, Solo Sikoa and his crew continue to attack Sami Zayn, and security and officials have to run in and restore order. Meanwhile, Sheamus shows up and makes good on his promise to go after Rusev after the match with a pump knee, and when security goes after him, Sheamus levels them before he and Rusev brawl through the crowd.

Backstage, Solo Sikoa and his crew are booted out of the building, and Sheamus and Rusev are seperated. The New Day and Grayson Waller show up wanting revenge against Penta, and puts them in a match with Penta next week.

We hear from "Big" Bronson Reed, who beat Seth "Freakin'" Rollins and earned his respect enough to be part of "The Vision." He says he does not want Roman Reigns' respect, and says that when Roman mans him up to him again, he will keep adding to his shoe collection until he acknowledges his tribal thief.

The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) want to be in Iyo Sky's corner for her match with Roxanne Perez. Roxanne says "thanks, but no thanks" and says she has this.

Roxanne Perez beats Iyo Sky after The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) show up as Raquel distracts the ref to hold down Roxanne only for Roxanne to escape, shovs Iyo into The Kabuki Warriors, then grab the tights on the schoolkid pin for the win.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews "Main Event" Jey Uso. Jey said he had to handle some family business last week, but he is back and some people are on notice. LA Knight shows up and says the line for the World Heavyweight title starts behind him, but Jey says he will send Knight to the back of the line.

Backstage, Asuka shoves Iyo Sky as they argue. Kairi Sane is conflicted before she catches up with Asuka.

Becky Lynch retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri by submission with the Dis-Arm-Her. After the match, Natalya checks on Maxxine only for Becky to boot her in the head.

Backstage, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins meets with The Vision (Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, "Big" Bronson Reed). Rollins is overjoyed to have no problem now that CM Punk and LA Knight have to deal with Breakker and Bronson. He tells Breakker and Bronson to stack some bodies while he takes his leave.

We hear from Bayley. She says that she has been wrestling for 13 years, and that "The Role Model" was something that she was called before she saw herself as one, and now she feels that all she has done has led her to nothing.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews Lyra Valkyria. Lyra hopes Bayley is okay, but states that she stands by what she has said and says that what is happening to Bayley has nothing to do with her.

Backstage, Iyo Sky is met by Stephanie Vaquer, who tells Iyo that she is not the only one who has been promised a title match. Stephanie leaves, then Rhea Ripley shows up. Iyo thinks Rhea is trying to drive a wedge between her and The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) after Rhea says that The Kabuki Warriors cost her a victory tonight, and tells her to stay out of her business.

CM Punk and LA Knight beat "Big" Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker by disqualification after Seth "Freakin'" Rollins shows up and attacks CM Punk after Punk hits Breakker with a top rope elbow drop and before he can hit the GTS. After the match, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins goes on the attack on Punk when "Main Event" Jey Uso shows up with a metal folding chair and smashes Breakker with it. Bronson swats the chair away after Rollins escapes, but Jey fends Bronson off and hits him in the back with the chair. All of a sudden, General Manager Adam Pearce shows up and confronts Rollins for his actions before putting Rollins in a title defense at Clash in Paris against Jey Uso, LA Knight and CM Punk in a Fatal 4-Way Match. LA Knight and CM Punk then start fighting each other, and Jey Uso jumps in. Breakker gets back in the ring to hit Punk with a Spear, then Rollins, Breakker and Bronson clean house, with Jey eating a Tsunami. Bronson and Breakker then hold Punk down, and Rollins tells Punk that he will never be champion again for as long as he breathes before hitting him with a second Stomp.
