SummerSlam 2025, Night One - The LIVE Results



Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews Tiffany Stratton. Tiffany admits she is "super nervous" for tonight and that there is no one with as much star power and potential than Jade Cargill. She says that this is her first SummerSlam and that nobody expected her to hold the WWE Women's Championship this long, but tonight, she will prove she is the present and future when she retains.

Backstage, Sam Roberts interviews Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. Roxanne says the fans are idiots and that their opinions are irrelevant, and she and Roxanne both agree that they will stay Women's Tag Team Champions based on the fact that Charlotte Flair has never been a tag team champion and cannot work with anyone.

We see part one of Jackie Redmond's interview with Jelly Roll.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Sami Zayn, who admits that he is a little bit angry and that instead of fighting for a championship, he is fighting to prove himself and his character to someone who thinks he is face. He says that this has taken his eye so far off the ball and that he is who he is, and that he will put an end thing to things with Karrion Kross one way or another.

nourish.NJ, the Meadowlands EMS Scholarship Fund, New City Kids and Tackle Kids Cancer are honored as WWE Community Champions.

We see part two of Jackie Redmond's interview with Jelly Roll.



Breland performs God Bless America to kick off tonight's show.

Cardi B shows up to hype up the crowd and host tonight's show.



We are introduced to the Spanish announce team of Marcelo Rodriguez and Jerry Soto.

Roman Reigns and "Main Event" Jey Uso beat Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed.





Actor and comedian Druski, singer Breland, and multi-platinum rapper Fat Joe are seen in the crowd.

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair beat The Judgment Day (Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez) to become the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions!



Backstage, The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) take the last slice of pizza from everyone else, then Nikki Bella shows up with more Papa John's Epic Stuffed Crust Pizza.

Sami Zayn beats Karrion Kross after Scarlett offers him a pipe to use as a weapon only to throw it down to the outside and ultimately beat Karrion Kross with an Exploder Suplex followed by a Helluva Kick.



The attendance for tonight's show is 53,161.

In memory of Hulk Hogan, 1953 - 2025. Hulk Hogan's son Nick Hogan is seen in the crowd.

Psycho Clown and Mr. Iguana are seen in the crowd.

Tiffany Stratton retains the WWE Women's Championship against Jade Cargill after Tiffany rolls out of an avalanche Jaded attempt out of the corner and hits the Prettiest Moonsault Ever.



Chef and cookbook author Tineke Younger, singer Cardi B and Stephanie McMahon are all seen in the crowd.

Before the next match, Jelly Roll plays Randy Orton out to the ring. Jelly Roll's wife Bunnie XO is seen in the crowd.

Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul beat Randy Orton and Jelly Roll. During the match, Jelly Roll has to be helped to the back, but halfway to the ramp, Jelly Roll turns around and heads back to the ring.

CM Punk beats Gunther to become the World Heavyweight Champion after tripping a showboating Gunther off the announce table and hitting him with two GTS's. After the match, Seth "Freakin" Rollins shows up on crutches alongside Paul Heyman, who is carrying the Money in the Bank briefcase and contract. Rollins tells Punk that he is playing his game, then turns back, stops and reveals he is no longer hurt when he drops his crutches and removes his leg brace. Rollins runs into the ring and brawls with Punk, then hits him with the briefcase multiple times before cashing in the contract. Rollins then hits The Stomp on Punk and becomes the World Heavyweight Champion.
