Layin' da SmackDown! - SmackDown recap for October 24, 2014

Dean Ambrose kicks off the show. No matter what happens to him, he may get hurt, but he keeps getting back up, and it's all because he has nothing else to live for but to hurt people, as he's not a nice guy. Seth Rollins shows up on the TitanTron after Ambrose calls him out, saying not to tell him what to do, and says he'll end Ambrose's future at Hell in a Cell so he can cash in for his own. Ambrose tells him that this Sunday, they'll burn together, but Seth will perish alone.

Sheamus guests on commentary for the next match.

The Miz and Damien Mizdow beat Los Matadores (Fernando and Diego) with the Figure Four Leglock.

AJ Lee beats Alicia Fox.

Michael Cole interviews Rusev, who says that Rusev took a cheap shot at the soldier who jumped the barricade Monday and says that Rusev could have handled it better. The rest of the interview talks about Big Show and his time in the past spent overseas as part of WWE, as well as what Hulk Hogan said about him after Raw on Monday. As for whether or not Big Show can keep his emotion in check, Big Show says that's absolutely out of the question and that he will knock out Rusev this Sunday.

Dolph Ziggler retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Cesaro.

Nikki Bella, Cameron and Summer Rae beat Brie Bella, Natalya and Naomi. After the match, Nikki says she plans to make Brie her personal assistant after Hell in a Cell.

Bo Dallas and Gold & Stardust (Goldust and Stardust) beat The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) and Mark Henry.

Renee Young is interviewing Dolph Ziggler when Cesaro shows up. Cesaro throws down the gauntlet and challenges Ziggler to a two-out-of-three falls match for the Intercontinental title at Hell in a Cell. Ziggler accepts.

Seth Rollins shows up and says that Dean Ambrose isn't the only one with a bag of tricks, and that he plans to use his own bag of tricks against Ambrose this Sunday. When he calls Ambrose out, he doesn't show up, and Rollins says he's "all talk." It isn't until after this that Ambrose attacks Rollins from behind only to be outnumbered thanks to Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury. Rollins is able to retreat, but Noble and Mercury aren't so lucky, as they are soon knocked out and elbow dropped through tables.
