Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for October 27, 2020

The show begins with Eric Young attacking Rich Swann backstage. The brawl soon makes its way to the ring. Eric Young tries to hit Rich Swann with the World title, but Swann ducks it. Both men continue to brawl outside of the ring, but when they get in the ring, Swann hits a superkick only for Eric to crotch him at the top turnbuckle. Referees, security and Scott D'Amore show up to stop Eric Young, who demands a world title rematch right now. D'Amore says this is not how it works, and tells him to look at himself, as he is his own worst enemy. D'Amore tells Eric Young he is not getting his match, but Rich Swann tells D'Amore to make the match right now, saying he is ready. D'Amore is reluctant, but he makes the rematch official for right now.

Rich Swann retains the Impact World Championship against Eric Young despite being choked with his own dress shirt and not wearing shoes, both of which were lost in the brawl from the start of the show.

Backstage, Havok runs into Neveah, who asks "Is it done?" Havok replies "He's back...the wedding is on." Neveah says "I have a bad feeling about this."

Backstage, the women's division finds out that there is a tournament to crown Knockouts Tag Team Championships in three weeks. Everyone leaves, then Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz pick on Alisha, but Jordynne Grace stands up for Alisha and challenges them to a tag team match. Everyone leaves, then Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz pick on Alisha, but Jordynne Grace stands up for Alisha and challenges them to a tag team match. Alisha is surprised that Jordynne wants to tag with her, but she soon parties with the idea.

Tommy Dreamer beats Brian Myers in a Hardcore Halloween Match after Swoggle comes out of a garbage can and gets Myers in the groin with a pair of barbecue tongs before Dreamer puts Myers through a table with a Death Valley Driver for the win.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Heath and Rhino. Rhino says that he and Heath will go for the tag team titles when Heath is medically cleared, and announces that Heath Slater will sign a contact next week. Heath says he did not get hurt during the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match but is in pain as he tries to leave.

Backstage, Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend) and Hernandez confront Fallah Bahh. Fallah admits he does not have the money and that he stole the money for John E. Bravo. Luster the Legend punches Fallah in the gut as Reno Scum and Hernandez leave. Fallah Bahh then pulls the money out of his tights, then says he has a bad feeling about this.

XXXL (Acey Romero and Larry D) beat The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz).

Backstage, Deonna Purrazzo, Kimber Lee and Purrazzo's barrister meet with Scott D'Amore. Purrazzo's barrister tells D'Amore to strip Su Yung of the Knockouts Championship and award it back to Purrazzo by the end of the night. D'Amore tells the barrister that he needs to know when he has leverage and when he does not, then heads to the ring.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley). Shelley says his neck will hurt for about two months, and Sabin says that The North made it personal and that they will come back for their rematch and the tag titles. Suddenly, XXXL shows up. Romero says they should be #1 contenders, and Larry D says their biggest muscles are their jaws and if they focused on their necks, theyw ould be champs. Shelley tells Larry D if they focused on their brains, they would be champions. XXXL leave, then turn around and attack Shelley.

Scott D'Amore is in the ring. He mentions Deonna Purrazzo has assumed her right to retain a barrister who has demanded to bring legal harm to Impact Wrestling. He says he has gotten with the management team, and after reviewing the facts and the barrister's threats, Su Yung is still the rightful Knockouts Champion. Suddenly, Deonna Purrazzo shows up with Kimber Lee and the barrister. The barrister says that D'Amore has made a lot of mistakes in his life, but this one takes the cake, as D'Amore omitted that Su Yung only came to the ring because something happened to Kylie Rae. He says that if this is the kind of behavior he wants to reward and endorse, this is his choice, but it will become his client's choice to take this to court however long this may take. He says that D'Amore may be able to win the case, but he does not have the time or money to wait it out, and says that Deonna Purrazzo is the rightful Knockouts Champion. D'Amore says he likes a good threat and good lawsuit, and if the barrister and Deonna Purrazzo wants to "slow roll" it, so be it, even though the courts are shut down and not taking many new cases. He says that Deonna can take this to court for years, or Deonna can be what she claims to be and have her contractually obligated rematch where she can win the Knockouts Championship back. The barrister talks with Purrazzo and Kimber Lee, and states that Purrazzo agrees to D'Amore's terms. Su Yung shows up and puts the barrister and Kimber Lee in the Mandible Claw and spits red mist in D'Amore's face. Deonna Purrazzo kicks Su Yung in the gut, but she lets go of Kimber Lee and the barrister and puts Purrazzo in the Mandible Claw.

Backstage, Rich Swann talks with Willie Mack and The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel). Suddenly, Moose shows up and wants to know why Rich Swann is celebrating being second best, then produces the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and says he is number one. He says that due to his rough upbringing, Rich Swann is happy to get his hands on any gold he can get. Swann has to be held back by The Rascalz, and Willie Mack wants to fight Moose. Moose says they will do this on his time. After Rich Swann talks with The Rascalz one last time, he runs into Sami Callihan and "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock. Callihan tells Swann he will hear from Shamrock a lot more often, then they leave.

We look back on "The World's Most Dangerous Man" Ken Shamrock's induction into the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Backstage, The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) talks with security when The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) show up. The North calls The Good Brothers "the worst investment Impact Wrestling has ever made." When Doc Gallows mocks Ethan Page, Ethan slaps him, and security has to break up the ensuing brawl.

The Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the Week is Willie Mack vs. Rohit Raju for the Impact X Division Championship at Victory Road 2020.

Backstage, Jimmy Jacobs meets with Rohit Raju, who says a party is going on despite them being the only people in the room. Rohit Raju brags about his successful X Division Championship defense, but when Jimmy Jacobs mentions how Raju won the match under TJP's nose, Rohit Raju kicks him out of the room.

Backstage, John E. Bravo confronts Fallah Bahh about Hernandez looking for him, and says he knows what is going on. He promises to rat Fallah Bahh out, then takes his best man status away. Johnny Swinger shows up, laughs and says he has a bad feeling about this.

Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz beat Alisha and Jordynne Grace after Alisha inadvertently body splashes Jordynne in the corner. Alisha and Jordynne argue after the match.

As Willie Mack interacts with a fan in the parking lot, he is attacked by Moose.

Taya Valkyrie meets with Rosemary before the wedding. She tells Roemary that John E. Bravo has turned into "a complete lunatic" and is "out of control." Rosemary says she has better things in mind than leaving Bravo at the altar. Alisha shows up and asks if she has shown up in time, and Taya says "I have a bad feeling about this." After Taya leaves, Alisha asks why everyone keeps saying "I have a bad feeling about this."

Next week: Chris Bey vs. Trey Miguel! Deonna Purrazo vs. Su Yung for the Knockouts Championship! "The Big LG" Doc Gallows vs. Ethan Page! Eddie Edwards and Rich Swann vs. Eric Young and Sami Callihan!

It is time for the wedding of John E. Bravo and Rosemary. Father James Mitchell acts as the minister of the wedding. John E. Bravo says nobody will ruin this day for him as he recites his vows, and Rosemary says nobody can stop her from getting what she wants as she recites hers. Swoggle acts as the "ring imp" before the exchanging of the rings, both John E. Bravo and Rosemary says "I do," then the lights go out before they can kiss. When they come back on, a gunshot-like sound is heard, and John E. Bravo is on the mat with a blood splatter where his heart is. Tommy Dreamer askes "Who shot Bravo?" before yelling "NOOOOOOOOO!" to end the show.
