Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for October 29, 2020

Aoife Valkyrie beats Dani Luna. Both women shake hands after the match.

We see a video package chronicling the NXT UK Heritage Cup thus far.

We see a vignette for Rampage Brown, who is coming soon to NXT UK.

"Flash" Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews are in the ring. Andrews talks about the backstage attacks on him and Webster, then Eddie Dennis shows up. Andrews tells Dennis he has known him for fifteen years and that he does not trust anything he says, but Dennis says he has never seen such a narcissist as Andrews. Webster tells Dennis he does not need to talk out of his arse. Dennis tells Andrews he was proving himself as a singles competitor when he was attacked, and tells him to keep his friends close and his enemies closer when Pretty Deadly (Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley) show up. Webster says he called this coming, and says he and Andrews have friends in The Hunt (Wild Boar and Primate). Dennis reiterates his "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" line, then The Hunt attack Webster and Andrews. Andrews goes down first, then The Hunt attack Webster at the behest of Dennis.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Piper Niven says her plan is the same as ever, and she tells Kay Lee Ray that title reigns fade and that enemies can last forever.

In backstage from during the break, Assistant Sid Scala is met by Pretty Deadly. They have no idea what happened with Mark Andrews and "Flash" Morgan Webster, then want a shot at the tag team titles. After Sam Gradwell shows up and says he is back in NXT UK, Scala gives Pretty Deadly a title shot. Suddenly, Gallus confront Sid Scala and remind him that they will be back at full strength.

We hear from Ilja Dragunov, who calls his match with Walter for the NXT UK Championship his biggest opportunity and says that he will not waste it.

Jordan Devlin beats Levi Muir with the Texas Cloverleaf following the Devlin-side. After the match, Devlin tells the Cruiserweight division their one, real champion is back and tells all challengers to come at him for the title before warning everybody not to bet against him.

Next week: Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang) vs. Pretty Deadly (Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley) and Sam Gradwell! Noam Dar vs. A-Kid in the NXT UK Heritage Cup!

We hear from Walter, who says that he respects Ilja Dragonuv and calls Dragonuv an honest, hard-working man with principles, then says he will destroy him. He says this will be the greatest fight of his life, but he will stay NXT UK Champion.

Walter retains the NXT UK Championship against Ilja Dragunov after Dragunov is unconscious during a sleeper hold following a sleeper suplex on the outside, a boot into the steel steps and a powerbomb into the ring apron.
