After Dark - AEW Dark recap for October 20, 2020

Shawn Spears beats "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels after reversing a springboard move into the C4. After the match, Spears hits Angels with another C4, then Tully Blacnhard hands Spears the metal slug to put in his glove on the stage. When Spears heads back to the ring, Scorpio Sky stands in the ring to stop Spears, but Spears grabs a nearby stagehand and knocks him out with his gloved hand.



Brandi Rhodes beats KiLynn King. During the match, John "4" Silver shows up with a sign saying "JOHNNY HUNGIEE #SHOTOFBRANDI," which distracts Brandi briefly. Alex "3" Reynolds shows up and takes Silver to the back. Brandi raises KiLynn's hand in victory after the match.



"Absolute" Ricky Starks beats David Ali.



"Absolute" Ricky Starks guests on commentary for the rest of the show.

Scorpio Sky beats Fuego del Sol with the Scorpion Deathlock. After the match, Shawn Spears' music plays, but Spears is nowhere to be seen.



Luchasaurus beats Aaron Solow.



The Butcher and The Blade beat Brian Pillman Jr. and Griff Garrison.



Penta El Zero M beats QT Marshall. Eddie Kingston shows up during the match to watch from the stage, then distracts Marshall by bringing out Allie, who is now back in the Bunny gimmick, before returning to the back with her.



Jungle Boy beats KTB.



Ivelisse and Diamante beat Kenzie Paige and Skyler Moore.



Colt Cabana beats BSHP King with the Superman's Curse despite the unintentional distraction by Alex "3" Reynolds and John "4" Silver.



Alan "5" Angels beats Adam Priest.



We hear from Frankie Kazarian, who says that respect is earned, not given, in professional wrestling and that while Jack Evans has his respect, but like Evans, he has been underutilized and has always been the bridesmaid and never the bride, even though has helped build companies from the ground up and has won multiple championships and has been in the business for more than two decades. Kazarian says he has worked too hard not to be on top of the industry, and tonight, his road to AEW gold starts with Jack Evans.

Frankie Kazarian beats Jack Evans. During the match, Angelico tries to interfere only to be knocked out of his shoes while being knocked off the ring apron. After the match, Angelico attacks Kazarian from behind and puts him in an ankle lock while Evans pounds on Kazarian, and "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels runs in to make the save.



The Dark Order (Alex "3" Reynolds, John "4" Silver, Preston "10" Vance) beat Louie Valle, Baron Black and D3.



Wardlow beats Vinny Pacifico in seconds by referee stoppage after knocking Pacifico out with a knee in the corner. After the match, Wardlow hits Pacifico with the F-10.



We hear from Eddie Kingston, who says that the family is back together now that Allie is back in the fold as The Bunny and that everyone is going to pay.

Matt Sydal beats Shawn Dean by submission.



Rey Fenix beats Sonny Kiss.
