Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 26, 2020

Drew McIntyre shows up to start tonight's show. McIntyre says he has no excuses for losing the WWE Championship to Randy Orton last night, and promises to become WWE Champion again. He quotes Rocky, saying it is not how hard you hit, but how hard you can get hit and still get back up, and says he always gets back up twice as strong. As McIntyre continues to speak, The Miz and John Morrison show up. Miz tells McIntyre to take a bow and the fans to give McIntyre an encore, but McIntyre warns Miz and Morrison to pick their next words carefully. Morrison says McIntyre had an impressive run, and Miz says that all good thing must come to an end. Miz says that McIntyre will no longer have to worry about facing Randy Orton for the WWE Championship, for he is Mr. Money In The Bank, and the contract entitles him to a world title match any time he wants. As Miz brags about successfully cashing in on Randy Orton and becoming WWE Champion, then says that history could repeat itself, as Orton is a guest on A Moment of Bliss. Miz says that if McIntyre won last night, he would be outnumbered right now, and he would be in the same situation he is now. As Morrison tells McIntyre to look on the bright side, Miz gets headbutted and Morrison gets tossed around by McIntyre. As McIntyre goes for a Future Shock DDT on Morrison, Miz hits McIntyre with a chop block and escapes with Morrison. McIntyre then stomps on Morrison's sunglasses. McIntyre is then heard saying he has a good idea with Miz and Morrison to run by management.

Drew McIntyre vs. The Miz is official for later tonight.

Before the next match, AJ Styles brags that he is 2-0 since he has come to Raw, and says that this is the return of "The Phenomenal Era." He says that the fans missed him, then asks why he is in a qualifier match for a slot in Raw's men's Survivor Series team, saying he has nothing to prove to anybody and that he should be the captain of the team because he is "the face that runs the place." He then says that his associate, Jordan Omogbehin, does not like to be looked at or talked to, and calls this a warning. Styles then continues to call Jeff Hardy "the biggest cheater in WWE history," and says that if Hardy tries to do what he did to Elias on him tonight, Jordan will "make [him] wish he never put down that bottle."

"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles beats Jeff Hardy following the inadvertent distraction by Styles' associate Jordan Omogbehin to qualify for the Raw Men's Survivor Series Team. After the match, Jeff Hardy is beaned in the back with a guitar by Elias.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews R-Truth. R-Truth says everyone is going for title, but his four pursuers are in a match against each other and he plans to scout out his challengers despite the danger, because he eats and sleeps dangerously, and his third middle name is "Dangerously."

The Lucha House Party (Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado) inadvertently beat Drew Gulak and Akira Tozawa with a top rope Sunset Flip from Lince Dorado to Drew Gulak after R-Truth shows up to scout his competition only for everyone in the match to unsuccessfully pin R-Truth to win the WWE 24/7 Championship as all four men fight each other over the championship. After the match, everyone chases R-Truth to the back.

It's time for Firefly Fun House. Bray Wyatt hosts a mad tea party dressed like The Mad Hatter. Alexa Bliss shows up with a teapot, and makes it extra special for Ramblin' Rabbit, who dies after finding out from Alexa Bliss that there is arsenic in the tea. Bray Wyatt says "we're all mad here," and that Alexa Bliss is safe from everything in the Fun House, as she is protected by The Fiend. Alexa Bliss' irises go white and red as Bray touches her, and she says "Let him in." After Alexa Bliss mentions that Randy Orton is the guest for A Moment of Bliss tonight, Ramblin' Rabbit comes back to life only for Bray Wyatt to beat him to death.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Keith Lee. Keith Lee says there is no question about Braun Strowman did last week, as he could not beat him clean, and he took the cheap way out. He says that Strowman calls himself a monster, but he will show him a real monster the next time they meet. He then says that tonight is about beating Elias and joining the Raw Men's Survivor Series Team, then says it is time to walk with Elias.

Backstage, Adam Pearce is met by Nia Jax and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler. Nia Jax hands Pearce a list of people to put on the team, saying she is the Raw Women's Survivor Series team captain. Baszler does the same thing. Pearce looks at both lists and says he will take them under consideration. Meanwhile, Nia Jax takes offense at not being on Shayna Baszler's list.

Before the next match, Elias says he is tasting sweet victory after getting revenge against Jeff Hardy last night, then celebrates the release of his new album "Universal Truth." Bobby Lashley says they viewed Retribution as an opportunity, not a threat, and calls Retribution a liability to business. MVP says that if you do something, you don't do it for free, and says that he has told management The Hurt Business will take care of Retribution. MVP says that when they are done, they expect payment, and Shelton Benjamin says they expect that payment in gold.

The Hurt Business (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander) beat Retribution (Mustafa Ali, T-BAR, Mace, Slapjack). MVP is eliminated by Slapjack after Retribution gets on the ring apron and begins to think that something is all over her body. After the commercial break, it is revealed that Reckoning was faking it, and she is ejected from ringside by the referee. Bobby Lashley and T-BAR are both eliminated by double count-out as they take their fight behind the barricade. Ali gets disqualified after hitting Cedric Alexander with a steel chair, ending the match and giving The Hurt Business the win, and Shelton Benjamin chases Mustafa Ali to the ramp after the match. When Ali sees MVP and Bobby Lashley, he hightails it over the barricade on the way to the back.

Backstage, Angel Garza tries to flirt with Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke, but Mandy Rose says she is still close with Otis. Nia Jax and "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler show up and tell Garza to leave, and he leaves after Nia Jax takes his rose and sniffs it. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler try to throw their weight around with Mandy and Dana, but they are having none of it, and Dana tells them to watch their backs and their titles.

Before Adam Pearce can announce the fifth member of the team, Nia Jax asks for the honors to announce it. Shayna butts in wanting the honors, but Adam Peace interrupts and says four members of the Raw women's division will square off to determine the fifth member: Lana, Lacey Evans, Peyton Royce and Nikki Cross.

Lana beats Nikki Cross, Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce in a four-way match to become the fifth member of the Raw Women's Survivor Series Team. During the match, it is announced that Elias' new album "Universal Truth" has reached #1 on the Soundtracks chart on iTunes. After the match, Lana and Nia Jax hug only for Nia Jax to put her through the announce table for a sixth time.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Randy Orton, who says that he is going to be on A Moment of Bliss despite Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss' messages to him, for he is not afraid of The Fiend, and if The Fiend wants to show his face, he has no problem introducing him to the RKO.

Backstage, Mustafa Ali says that Retribution is not a family or a team, but a mission, and those standing beside him will sacrifice everything for that mission. He says that Retribution wins when people suffer, and that they will win when they decide that everything gets shut down.

Sheamus beats Matt Riddle to qualify for the Raw Men's Survivor Series Team.

It's time for A Moment of Bliss. Tonight's guest is Randy Orton. As Orton decides to stand for the segment, he says there is nothing to be surprised about concerning his WWE Championship win last night, then asks Alexa if she has a surprise for him. She says there are no surprises, then asks what it was like for him and Drew McIntyre to burn the house down. Orton becomes serious and asks where The Fiend is. Suddenly, McIntyre shows up. McIntyre and Orton brawl in the ring as Alexa Bliss points and laughs, then McIntyre tosses everything out of the ring before going for a Claymore Kick. Alexa continues to laugh as the lights go out, and when the red lights come on, McIntyre is the only person in the ring, as Orton is on the ramp and Alexa is nowhere to be seen. Orton then notices that The Fiend is behind him, and Orton slowly approaches the ring before brawling with McIntyre again. Orton then slams McIntyre on the announce table and continues to beat him up as the show ends.
