Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for October 28, 2020

Backstage, Dasha Gonzalez interviews MJF and Wardlow. MJF says he is proud of what Wardlow has accomplished, but if he wins the AEW World Championship, MJF is the champion, as Wardlow is contracted to him and Wardlow's property is also his property. Suddenly, Sammy Guevara shows up angry with MJF, and says he will make sure that MJF never joins The Inner Circle. After MJF calls Wardlow off, MJF mocks Sammy Guevara's promo skills and looks, and Sammy makes it clear to MJF that he wants to beat him up.

"Hangman" Adam Page beats Wardlow with two Buckshot Lariats to advance to the finals of the World Title Eliminator Tournament. (During the match, it is announced that Rey Fenix injured himself last week and that he forfeited the tournament victory and his spot in the tournament to Penta El Zero M at the behest of Eddie Kingston; therefore, Penta El Zero M will take Rey Fenix's place in the tournament.)

We hear from Jon Moxley, who says he has defended the AEW World Championship with everything he had to make it the top title in the sport, but at Full Gear, he will not only defending the title, he will be weaponing it against a "miserable, excuse-making son-of-a-bitch" in Eddie Kingston, as he says AEW is for those who put in the work. He says that Kingston will have nobody to blame when he makes him quit and crush his skull, windpipe and ego just like he does everyone else.

Before the next match, Eddie Kingston wants a fight, but since Jon Moxley is not here because "he is a coward," he will fight Matt Sydal for trying to steal his thunder in the Casino Battle Royal, which he says he was never eliminated from, and hopes Jon Moxley is watching from home.

Eddie Kingston beats Matt Sydal with Jon Moxley's bulldog choke to make a statement. After the match, Kingston refuses to release the hold, and Kingston forces Sydal to say he quits. Kingston then says "I'm sorry, Mox...I'm sorry."

Excalibur interviews The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler). Matt says his ankle is fine and says that their match has been simmering for years now, and Harwood says that their match is a dream match, but for them, they are more concerned about staying tag team champions and whoever leaves as champions at Full Gear will cement their legacy as the best tag team in the world. Matt says The Young Bucks are good people, but good people sometimes do bad things, and while they regret their recent actions, they have been suffering and they feel that something is missing as FTR are messing with their friends and their livelihoods. Matt then says it was a killer instinct that was brought back up by FTR, and he hopes FTR are ready. FTR then leave, saying Excalibur does not need or deserve them for the interview. Matt says that The Young Bucks are self-made and had to do and get everything themselves and bet on themselves as well, and says that if they cannot win the AEW World Tag Team Championsips at Full Gear, they will never challenge for the tag team titles ever again.

Tony Schiavone and Dasha Gonzalez moderate the town hall meeting between MJF and The Inner Circle. The Inner Circle show up first, followed by MJF. Luchasaurus asks MJF how he can contribute to the earning potential and ensure the continuing financial prosperity of The Inner Circle. MJF produces a graph which states that the sky is the limit when it comes to money as soon as he joins. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. asks Chris Jericho about MJF's "horrible" track record with friendships. Jericho states that MJF will be an associate member, and threatens to beat him up if he turns on The Inner Circle. MJF tells Jericho they have the same goals, and that they will get "a whole lot of green and a whole lot of gold." "The Librarian" Peter Avalon asks if he can join The Inner Circle. The Inner Circle and MJF both laugh at Avalon, with Jericho saying there is no chance. Suddenly, Eric Bischoff makes a surprise appearance and a three-pronged question asks MJF what he can do for The Inner Circle. MJF simply answers "Friendship." Bischoff then asks MJF what he believes The Inner Circle can do for him, and MJF says that he is a total package and is able to humbly accept that he is not the best team player, but that he could learn how to be from The Inner Circle. Bischoff then calls Jericho "a primadonna," and after Schiavone tells Jericho to "shut up," mentions that MJF shares the primadonna qualities as Jericho and asks how he is supposed to know that the two of them will not end up killing each other if MJF joins The Inner Circle. MJF addresses the constant jeering he is getting, and Jericho tells MJF to answer the question. MJF tells Jericho he has done everything for him, including giving him the best segment of Jericho's career and in all of professional wrestling, then asks Jericho what he hasn't done. Jericho says "You haven't beaten me...but I'll give you a chance to do that." Jericho proposes a one-on-one match between the two of them at Full Gear, and if MJF wins, he will allow MJF to join The Inner Circle. MJF, knowing this is a big opportunity for him, says he will do anything to win. Jericho says he expects nothing left, but MJF stresses the word "anything." Ortiz tells MJF to shut up and says that he, Sammy Guevara and Ortiz do not want him in The Inner Circle and that he does not have a shot at joining them just because Jericho is entertaining him. He also mentions that MJF and Wardlow have a match with him and Guevara, and says that MJF will not make it to Full Gear.

We see a video package chronicling the feud between Will Hobbs and Team Taz ("The Machine" Brian Cage and "Absolute" Ricky Starks). Taz says they are about victories, championship and money, and admits that Will Hobbs is "legit" and fits into their world. He tells Will Hobbs the clock is ticking and needs to make a decision soon. Cage asks Hobbs if he is in or out.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes retains the AEW TNT Championship against Orane Cassidy in a lumberjack match after Alan "5" Angles and John "4" Silver of The Dark Order attack Cody, which allows Arn Anderson. After the match, everyone brawls while Darby Allin watches from the the upper seats of the arena and The Gunn Club (Billy and Austin Gunn) take out The Dark Order.

Backstage, Alex Marvez tries to interview Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent) when "Superbad" Kip Sabian and Miro arrive to forgive them. They give Best Friends a package, them attack them. Miro tells Trent he will never forgive him, then Sabian opens the package to reveal an arcade stick inside.

Serena Deeb - now the NWA World Women's Champion after beating Thunder Rosa for the title last night - retains the NWA World Women's Championship against Layla Hirsch by submission.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Hiraku Shida, who tells "The Native Beast" Nyla Rose that if she wants her for a shot at the AEW Women's World Championship, then she wants Nyla Rose at Full Gear.

Shawn Spears beats VSK in mere seconds with the C4. After the match, a man in a bull mask throws candy at Shawn Spears. Spears confronts the man and throws him into the ring, then takes the steel slug from Tully Blanchard only for the man in the bull mask to unmask and reveal he is Scorpio Sky. Scorpio Sky hits Spears with the TKO, much to the surprise of Tully Blanchard.

Orange Cassidy will face John "4" Silver at the Buy-In for Full Gear.

Next week: Chris Jericho on commentary! The Inner Circle (Ortiz and Sammy Guevara) vs. MJF and Wardlow! Miro vs. Trent! Shawn Spears vs. Scorpio Sky! Cody and The Gunn Glub vs The Dark Order (John "4" Silver, Preston "10" Vance and Colt Cabana)! Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston face-to-face!

Kenny Omega beats Penta El Zero M to advance to the finals of the World Title Eliminator Tournament. During the match, Omega taunts Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix with the AAA Megas Championship, which Omega beat Rey Fenix to win.
