Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for October 31, 2020

It is announced that to bring back the honor and integrity of ROH, disregard of the rules will not be tolerated, and both Matt Taven and Vincent have been both fined and warned that further violations of the rules will not be tolerated.

Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, Moses, Kaun) beat The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoes) and EC3.

We hear from "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams, who says that while his road to the ROH Pure Tournament may be frought with failures and disappointments, but he has beaten opponents who have taken him to his limits. He considers Johnathan Gresham a rival who shares a similar road to ROH, and says it is just the two of them in the center of the ring with the whole world watching. Williams says he has learned that in order to really create change and work together, you need a tie that binds, and that he and Gresham have that tie in competition and pure professional wrestling. He says that he will see Gresham in the finals of the tournament and build the company in the foundation of professional wrestling that it needs to be built on, but that the tournament will end with him as the champion. We then hear from Jonathan Gresham, who says that the foundation of Ring of Honor is about people like him who view professional wrestling like he does. He says that he and Williams have something in common, and that they both found and fell in love with ROH, feeling it proved to be what professional wrestling should be. He says that the only people who can restore ROH's honor are pure professional wrestlers, and that he and "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams are making history. Gresham says he is the best pure professional wrestler in the world, and in the finals of the tournament, he can prove that to himself and the rest of the world, and that he and Williams have achieved the goal of bringing honor back to ROH.

Jonathan Gresham beats "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams with the Octopus to win the ROH Pure Championship Tournament and become the first ROH Pure Champion in fourteen years. Jay Lethal celebrates with Gresham after the match, and Williams shakes hands with Lethal and Gresham.
