Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for October 20, 2020

Hernandez beats Rhino, Alisha, Cousin Jake and Heath in a five-way match to enter the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match at Bound For Glory at #20, while Rhino - who is pinned by Hernandez with a schoolkid pin after inadvertently hitting Alisha with a Gore after Hernandez inadvertently dodges it upon getting slapped in the face by Alisha - enters at #1.

We see a video package of what has happened recently between Moose and EC3.

Jimmy Jacobs interviews Moose. Moose walks out of the interview after saying that EC3 will not be happy after he is done with him at Bound For Glory, then three men in EC3 jackets show up, put a bag over Jacobs' head and place him in a black vehicle.

Backstage, John E. Bravo is ticked off that he has nothing for the wedding with only week to go, and Kaleb - Tenille Dashwood's photographer - is revealed as the photographer for the wedding. Taya Valkyrie shows up to an angry John E. Bravo, who walks out of the room ready to give up.

We heat from Deonna Purrazzo, who says that Impact Wrestling has been the place to be for the last nearly twenty years for women's wrestling to be taken seriously, and says that at Bound For Glory, she will rise to the pressure, and that Kylie Rae cannot do the same. She says that it will not take long for her to get Kylie Rae to become unhinged and make rash decisions and mistakes, and that she will not only celebrate a victory, but become delighted that Kylie Rae lost.

Rosemary beats Havok. As per pre-match stipulation, Havok must help Rosemary bring Father James Mitchell back from the dead for her wedding with John E. Bravo. (Had Havok won, Rosemary would have to leave Havok alone, and Father James Mitchell would stay dead.)

We see a vignette chronicling the recent events between The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) and The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson).

We see a commercial for Talk 'n Shop: Full Keg, airing tonight at 10 PM Eastern on AXS TV.

We hear from Kylie Rae, who says that while Deonna Purrazzo is a good wrestler, they won't know who the best is until their match. Kylie Rae says she is going to beat Deonna for the Knockouts Championship, despite Deonna's ways to throw her off of her game. Kylie admits that her anger sometimes gets the best of her, and says that she tries to be a good person at the end of the day. She says that Deonna made their match personal when she broke Susie's arm, but it will not be revenge when she beats Deonna for the title.

The men in the EC3 jackets take Jimmy Jacobs out of the van and take him into another building where the bag is removed. He is then met by EC3, who says there is nowhere to go and that it is just the two of them.

After the commercial break, EC3 tells Jimmy Jacobs that they are captives in their own narratives and that right now, Jacobs is in his. EC3 says that narratives change, as his adversary has emerged, and while all of him is wounded, he lives with those wounds everyday. EC3 says he saw the Moose that Moose should always have been and has the potential to be, and saw that potential in Moose's eyes when Moose hit him as hard as he could. He then says Moose's narrative is his to control, not Moose's. He says that Moose must learn what he must become, but he must learn that lesson by his hands in order to destroy his past and burn its legacy to the ground. EC3 says he must beat Moose inside his own narrative in order to fulfill his purpose, and says that the only glory at Bound For Glory is when he burns the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and its legacy into dust. He congratulates Moose on becoming what he must be, then tells Moose he has been warned.

Sami Callihan beats Eddie Edwards after Sami Callihan turns the lights off, which causes Ken Shamrock to appear after the lights come back on. Sami Callihan then pins a distracted Eddie Edwards with a schoolkid pin to win the match. After the match, Shamrock attacks Eddie, then puts Eddie Edwards in an ankle lock in the middle of the ring.

We see a video package chronicling the events leading up to the six-way X Division Championship match at Bound For Glory.

Willie Mack, TJP and Trey Miguel beat Chris Bey, Rohit Raju and Jordynne Grace after Chris Bey and Rohit Raju fight over who gets the pinfall victory, which allows Trey to superkick Bey and pin Raju to get the win.

We see a video package chronicling the recent events between Rich Swann and Eric Young.

Eric Young is interviewed. He says he has tried to give people an easy path and a means to avoid him, but nobody is learning. He says that if anyone wants to break his boundaries, they will have to live with the consequences like he has done through his career. He says that people have learned the hard way and that bodies will continue to pile up if this continues, and says that he is now angry and has a purpose and a target, and knows what has to be done regarding Rich Swann. As Young says that Swann's actions will be his responsibility, he is suddenly attacked by Eric Young, who take their brawl outside of the building until the camera capturing everything is knocked out.

The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) vs. The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) ends in a no-contest after both teams brawl in the ring and refuses to listen to the referee. After the match, Ace Austin and Madman Fulton show up to attack The North, then The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) show up to attack Austin and Fulton. The Good Brothers and The Motor City Machine Guns are the only two teams left in the ring, and The Good Brothers attack the Machine Guns in the end to end the show.
