We see post-show footage from last week's show. Eddie Kingston says that Jon Moxley sold out as soon as he signed a contract to WWE and left him by, leaving him screwed by the business while Moxley "made millons for an entertainer." He then tells Moxley to enjoy the AEW World Championship, as he will make him quit and pay for leaving him behind. Eddie Kingston vs. Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship is made official for Full Gear.
We hear from Jon Moxley, who says that he was happy for Eddie Kingston when he signed an AEW contract, and says that he has loved his loyalty and integrity. He says that he does not know the Kingston who is jealous of his success, and says he will not apologize for giving his family a better life than he had. He says that he was glad to have Kingston's back and share the ring with him, and at Full Gear, he will beat and torture him until he gets his friend back, and that Kingston will have nobody to blame but himself.
Kenny Omega beats Sonny Kiss in seconds to advance to the second round of the World Title Eliminator Tournament. ("The Bad Boy" Joey Janela was originally scheduled for this match, but pulled out after being exposed to someone who was exposed to someone else with COVID-19.) Omega raises Sonny's hand and hugs Sonny Kiss after the match.
In footage from earlier today, Tony Schiavone interviews Orange Cassidy. Orange says that sometimes calls go your way, and sometimes they do not. As for his plans against "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, Orange does not say much.
In footage from earlier today, Dasha interviews "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, who arrives to the arena with "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson. Cody is surprised that a rematch with Orange Cassidy with a stipulation has come so soon, but Orange did not get it done last week and he will not get it done next week. As for his recent weight gain, he says it was time to go into heavyweight territory after being a giant killer as of late and that it was "about time," and says that he is excited to show up as Executive Vice President for tonight's show.
We hear from Eddie Kingston, who says that he does not forget about his people, and says that The Lucha Bros. will show they are the best out of Mexico when they face each other next, and that The Butcher and The Blade will knock out the tag team division, face FTR and take the tag team titles. Kingston says that everything Moxley recently said about him was all true, but he had to become a bitter person and a liar because he ends justify his means, because he got nothing before he played the snake, and now he has a World title shot in an "I Quit" Match. He says he has never quit and will not quit now, and that Moxley will have to go to a dark place, much like the dark place that Kingston himself lives in, just to beat him.

Rey Fenix beats Penta El Zero M to advance to the second round of the World Title Eliminator Tournament with a reversal into a Destroyer.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Colt Cabana, Alex "3" Reynolds and John "4" Silver of The Dark Order. Reynolds says tonight is their biggest opportunity and that they must seize that opportunity and become #1 contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Cabana says he is on a mission to become the AEW World Champion, and that he feels no pressure. Silver tells Cabana he doesn't know pressure, and that the entire Dark Order is under pressure. He also states that the Dark Order will take all the men's championships, and that the entire Dark Order will be there when Orange Cassidy and "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes have their TNT Championship rematch so they can beat up whoever the winner is so that Brodie Lee can take the TNT Championship back.
"Hangman" Adam Page beats Colt Cabana to advance to the second round of the World Title Eliminator Tournament. After the match, The Dark Order shows up and picks Colt Cabana, then helps him to the back.

Team Taz (Taz, "The Machine" Brian Cage, "Absolute" Ricky Starks) is on the stage. Taz says he has two problems. The first is Will Hobbs, who he has yet to hear from regarding joining Team Taz, and threatens to beat up if he does not give an answer soon. The second is Darby Allin getting a shot at the AEW TNT Championship at Full Gear over "Absolute" Ricky Starks, with Tony Khan telling him that if Starks had not lost week, Starks would have gotten it. Taz says he is sick of showing up and doing everything he can to get nothing, and Starks says he has shown up and showed off only to have the rug pulled out from underneath him. Starks says that Darby Allin will pay for this, and he promises that when he and Allin meet again, he will put him in a grave.
Chris Jericho and MJF have their dinner. MJF and Jericho have the same order: a twenty ounce porterhouse steak with a baked potato. Both men make it into a competition where both men make their steaks rarer and rarer until MJF's steak is rare and Jericho's steak is blue. After the waiter leaves, Jericho confronts MJF for not holding a conversation since they have showed up and being mean to everybody they have come in contact with, and mentions the town hall meeting they will have next week with The Inner Circle to see if MJF is worthy of joining. MJF says they are the two biggest stars in wrestling and that working together would be awesome, and when MJF calls him "The Ratings Ruler," Jericho says the nickname is terrible and that it has as much chance of getting over as Orange Cassidy, the latter of which MJF simultaneously agrees with. Both men laugh, and MJF says they are getting through their differences already. The two men then break into a song and dance number - complete with dancers - before having their dinners, when both men realize that they made their steaks rare.

After the match, FTR meet with The Young Bucks in the ring to offer some celebratory beers, but The Young Bucks knock the beers away. Suddenly, a man in a hat and bandana shows up in the ring with a steel chair from the timekeeper's area and strikes Matt Jackson with a steel chair, then assists FTR with their spike piledriver on Nick Jackson, whose left leg is wrapped around a steel chair that is stomped on from the top rope by Wheeler. The man in the hat and bandanna then unmasks to reveal himself as Tully Blanchard. Referees check on Matt Jackson, who is attacked by FTR once more before the show ends.
