Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for July 22, 2020

Before the next match, Eddie Kingston shows up and says it is easy to talk about living a rough life and having to grind when "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes grew up around wrestling legends, then says he grew up around alcoholics and junkies and says he had to grind to survive. He says that every person Cody has faced is a child while he is "a grown-ass man" who will put him in the ground and smile. Kingston then says that the best thing about this is that Tony Khan paid him to show up and will pay him again to kick Cody's ass and take the TNT Championship, then threatens to gouge "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson's eye out. He then says that the match will also be no-disqualification if Cody accept, and that Cody has to accept as he is either "an egg-sucking dog" or "an egg-sucking bitch." The match is officially made a no-disqualification match.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes retains the AEW TNT Championship against Eddie Kingston with a Figure Four Leg Lock after being slammed into thumb tacks.

We hear from Jon Moxley, who says that in a business where everyone is full of it, he has been keeping it real and says that when he says he will do something, he will do it. He gives credit to Taz, as "The Machine" Brian Cage was very close to surgery and Taz gave the right call. He then warns Cage that next time, he will not let go.

Before the next match, MJF tells Griff Garrison that he is in the ring with a prodigy with a heart of gold, and gives him the opportunity to talk about himself before calling him "Jungle Man." Griff tells him what his real name is, then MJF says Griff looks like he couldn't even graduate finger painting class, let alone an Ivy League college. When MJF gives him a chance to share what it is like to be in the ring with someone who is undefeated, Griff tells him he lost a tag team match at Fyter Fest. MJF turns around, saying Griff has a good point, then hits him with a cheap shot with the microphone.

MJF beats Griff Garrison. During the match, MJF gives Griff Garrison a chance to tell the fans that he is undefeated, and makes him say it after slapping him around. After this, Garrison knocks the microphone into MJF's face and nearly wins on a schoolkid pin, but MJF hits the Heatseeker for the win.

In footage from earlier today, Tony Schiavone interviews Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D., who says that the conspiracy continues as she talks about Hikaru Shida busting her nose open and how she became a role model only for her nose to be a target. She then introduces Rule #4: "Never count out a role model." Britt says she is about to make a comeback, and says not to count her out, especially at All Out.

Taz and "The Machine" Brian Cage show up. Taz says he and Cage had a very difficult week full of heated arguments and discussions in which Cage almost fired him. Taz says he threw in the towel last week because the longer Jon Moxley had Cage in an arm bar - which Taz admits was "legit awesome" - the more likely Cage's bicep would be torn a second time, with Taz saying he has been there before. Taz says that Cage will never be in that position again, as Cage did not tap out and will not tap out, because he is not wired to. He says that Cage is FTW Champion because he has "an FTW mindset," then Darby Allin shows up only to be blindsided by "Absolute" Ricky Starks. Starks and Cage attack Allin again. As Cage is about to hit Allin with his own skateboard, Moxley shows up with a barbed wire baseball bat.

The summer: the Women's Tag Team Cup Tournament: The Deadly Draw!

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Chris Jericho, who says that his jacket is ruined because of Orange Cassidy and that he will now ruin and embarass Orange Cassidy like The Inner Circle will ruin and embarrass Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) for laughing at what happened last week and Marko Stunt calling him an idiot. He says that Marko's "bulbous head" and Jungle Boy's sideburns are funny while Luchasaurus is not a real dinosaur, then says that Jurassic Express will be extinct.

The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) beat The Butcher & The Blade in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews "Jake "The Snake" Roberts and Lance Archer. Archer takes Marvez to the locker room, where he attacks everyone inside while Roberts says that both of them are getting frustrated with Archer not being on the show.

Diamante beats Ivelisse with an inside cradle. During the match, we hear from Big Swole, who tells Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. that actions have consequences if she thinks she can get away with anything and that in her world, she gives the consequences and she will do it to Britt when they meet in the ring.

"Hangman" Adam Page beats Alan "5" Angels. During the match, The Dark Order shows up to watch, and Brodie Lee and Colt Cabana show up after the match. Brodie Lee enters the ring and addresses Adam Page, saying he has been nothing but impressed with him before stating he is lacking friends and a tag team partner when in immediate danger. Brodie Lee tells Page that The Dark Order will never leave him alone and always offer their protection, but Page says that while he appreciates the compliments, he is not ready to join a cult right now. Brodie tells Page he has made his bed and that he hopes he enjoys sleeping in it. Brodie and Colt leave, then the rest of The Dark Order surround Page. Page fights them anyway, and the numbers game catches up with him before FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) show up with beer coolers and smashes The Dark Order with them. Kenny Omega also shows up, but by then, The Dark Order is retreating.

Next week: The Dark Order (Evil Uno and Stu Grayson) vs. Kenny Omega and "Hangman" Adam Page for the AEW World Tag Team Championships! Hikar Shida vs. Diamante! Darby Allin and Jon Moxley vs. "The Machine" Brian Cage and "Absolute" Ricky Starks in a Tornado Tag Team Match! The AEW TNT Championship Open Challenge!

In a match that sees outside interference from Marko Stunt and Serpentico, The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho and Jake Hager) beat Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) after Serpentico jumps the barricade and hits Luchasaurus with Jericho's baseball bat. After the match, Serpentico and The Inner Circle attack Jurassic Express, and Serpentico unmasks to reveal himself as Sammy Guevara, who has not been seen in some time. Best Friends (Chuck Taylor, Trent, Orange Cassidy) soon shows up, and The Inner Circle leave the ring and leave through the stands. It is then announced that Best Friends and Jurassic Express will face all five members of The Inner Circle next week.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!
