Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for July 7, 2020

Kylie Rae and Susie beat Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie with a Smile To The Finish to Taya after Rosemary is down and Taya is distracted.

Backstage, Chris Bey talks with Johnny Swinger. Swinger says he has a plan and that he will get being banned from ringside at Slammiversary taken care of.

The Deaners (Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake) beat XXXL (Larry D and Acey Romero), Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster the Legend) and the team of TJP and Fallah Bahh in a four-way tag team match. After the match, Reno Scum brawl with TJP and Fallah Bahh backstage. TJP climbs up a forklift and takes out Reno Scum, then Fallah Bahh puts TJP in a trash can, rolling it around while TJP hits Reno Scum with a steel chair. In the end, Reno Scum get the upper hand.

Backstage, Johnny Swinger finds a Super Eric costume while looking for a way to get around being banned from ringside at Slammiversary, but discards it. He then finds a Suicide costume in someone's bags, and steals the entire costume after putting the mask on.

The Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the week is Tara and Angelina Love vs. The Beautiful People (Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne) in a Lethal Lockdown Match at Lockdown 2010.

Backstage, Ken Shamrock finds Sami Callihan backstage and says they have a chance to end The North and win championship gold, and offers Callihan his help tonight. Callihan, as much as he wants to take out Shamrock, likes the idea of being the world's most dangerous tag team, then disappears.

Jordynne Grace beats Kimber Lee. After the match, Deonna Purrazzo shows up on the video screen and says she came to become champion, not to take part in "frivolous combat." She tells Grace she will have to wait until Slammiversary to have her in the ring.

We see a video package for the four-way match for the vacant Impact World Championship at Slammiversary.

Backstage, Johnny Swinger - dressed as Suicide - runs into Willie Mack. Amazingly, Willie Mack has no idea that Swinger is underneath the mask as he talks about their match tonight.

It's time for Locker Room Talk. Tonight's guest is Madison Rayne, who interviews herself while switching seats. Madison Rayne announces that at Slammiversary, she will compete in the Knockouts Contender's Gauntlet and take back her throne in the Knockouts division. Suddenly, Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz interrupt, wanting to know where her guest is, then Havok and Nevaeh show up and agree with Kiera and Tasha before attacking them, starting a brawl.

Backstage, Hernandez wins another arm wrestling match, then has an arm wrestling match with Rhino. The match ends with "To Be Continued..." before the match can get going.

Willie Mack beats Suicide (who is still Johnny Swinger in disguise) after "Swingicide" falls down and hits his head on the top turnbuckle as he climbs to the top rope.

Backstage, Moose formally apologizes to Moose and mockingly retracts his statements from last week, then Moose shows up, knowing this is all the joke. Dreamer then tells Moose that that the TNA Championship committee has made him #1 contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Moose says there is no committee, and says Dreamer just had to ask for a title match. Dreamer counters by saying there is no TNA.

Sami Callihan beats "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander after "All Ego" Ethan Page takes out the referee only to be put in an ankle lock by Ken Shamrock as he goes for a Cactus Special on Callihan. After the match, Shamrock and Callihan have a staredown, then Callihan teleports out of the ring.

After the show, Slammiversary is advertised again, but at the end of the advertisement, three people take a glass of whiskey instead of one.
