Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E). Kofi says that to understand the table, you must be one with a table. He and Big E state that they have eaten and slept on tables, and the be one with wood, the wood must be in them. Because of this, they have hired a tables guru: D-Von Dudley, who shows up. After hilariously bringing up The Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley) putting The New Day through a table, D-Von says that one must simply put somebody through a table.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews MVP and Bobby Lashley. MVP refuses to reveal how much he spent to create his custom Unites States Championship belt, then Bobby Lashley says a real champion comes to work, but Apollo Crews has gone missing since he and MVP beat them up. MVP admits that while Crews is officially the champion, he will still have to deal with "the greatest United States Champion of all time" in him even if Crews is 100%, and he has the wisdom to know that he will be champion going forward. MVP says Crews' youthful exuberance got in the way when he wanted to help, and says that a wise man learns from the mistakes of others. He says that after tonight, everyone will get wise and Crews will ponder his lack of wisdom, as it is wise not to cross him or Lashley.

Kevin Owens beats Murphy on the kick-off.

Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) in a Tables Match to become the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions after Cesaro blocks a top rope hurricanrana and powerbombs Kofi Kingston through two tables.

Backstage, Alexa Bliss, Nikki Cross, Asuka and Kairi Sane pep each other up and raise each other's confidence.

Bayley retains the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship against Nikki Cross after Sasha Banks gets on the ring apron and distracts the referee, handing her "BOSS" knuckle ring to Bayley to use as a weapon.

It's time for Firefly Fun House. The Fun House looks like a laboratory, and Bray Wyatt has a Dracula-like appearance as he says it has been "a ghastly, ghoul-y evening" so far before presenting the footage of the SmackDown karaoke competition from two weeks ago. Bray chastises Ramblin' Rabbit for showing that footage, then states that Braun Strowman will come home tonight.

It is announced that tonight's United States Championship match will not take place, as Apollo Crews is not medically cleared and did not pass his pre-match physical due to an injury suffered from Bobby Lashley. MVP and Lashley show up, and MVP says what happened to Crews is a lesson to those who want to cross Lashley, then MVP tells Lashley that he cannot hurt someone with the Full to the point that it hurts his career before they both laugh. MVP declares himself the new WWE United States Champion and that he has won by forfeit.

Seth Rollins beats Rey Mysterio in an Eye For An Eye Match after forcing Rey's eyes into the corner of a step of the steel stairs. After the match, medical staff tend to Rey, and Seth Rollins is forced to look away and throw up slightly after what he has done. After medical staff help Rey to the back, Rollins walks up the ramp and heads backstage.

Backstage, Kayla Braxton interviews Bayley, who says that she was a fan of Rey Mysterio growing up, and tells Rey that he has a long road ahead of him before proclaiming that he has no double vision as she is a double champion. After introducing Sasha Banks and bragging about beating Nikki Cross, she says that Sasha will beat Alexa, that they will own all the women's gold and that all will be right with the world.

Sasha Banks beats Asuka, but whether or not she wins the WWE Raw Women's Championship is thrown into question. During the match, Bayley throws one of her championship belts into the ring, The referee notices this, and he is distracted as Sasha taps to the Asuka Lock. Bayley gets in the ring but is caught by the referee and superkicked by Asuka. Sasha Banks tries to use the title belt as a weapon only to be caught by the referee. Asuka tries to spit green mist into Bayley's face only to inadvertently hit the referee in the face. Asuka locks in the Asuka Lock, but Bayley uses the title belt as a weapon and hits Asuka with it. She then takes the referee's shirt off and counts the pinfall for Sasha, giving Sasha the win before demanding the bell be rung.

It is announced that Rey Mysterio is being treated for his eye injury, and if his eye is not completely severed, he can maintain his vision.

Before the next match, Dolph Ziggler says that Drew McIntyre made a big mistake, and announces that their match will be an Extreme Rules Match, with Extreme Rules only applying to Dolph. He also announces that if McIntyre gets himself disqualified, the WWE Championship will change hands.

Drew McIntyre retains the WWE Championship agianst Dolph Ziggler in an Extreme Rules Match where Drew must wrestle according to the rules of a standard wrestling match.

The Wyatt Swamp Fight between Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman ends with both men going into the water of the swamp. Bray briefly resurfaces, then comes back out as The Fiend.
