Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 28, 1993

Shawn Michaels retains the WWF Intercontinental Championship against Kamala after a distraction from Diesel. Kamala goes after Michaels after the match, but he soon gets decked by Diesel.

Live on the 4th of July, The WWF Stars and Stripes Challenge will take place. Can anyone slam Yokozuna?

Vince McMahon interviews Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna in the ring. Mr. Fuji is accepting all takers for his challenge to see if anyone can slam Yokozuna as he continues to discredit America. Vince reminds Fuji that someone will eventually meet the challenge and succeed. Fuji responds by mocking Hulk Hogan's fans, saying they destroyed Hulkamania and caused the little Hulkamaniacs to cry. Yokozuna says that American athlets are like American products: they're no good.

George Martin of the New York Giants, Jim Campen of the Green Bay Packers, and Tatanka accept Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji's challenge, which will be on the USS Intrepid.

The Smoking Gunns (Billy and Bart Gunn) beat "Iron" Mike Sharpe and Barry Horowitz.

Vince McMahon interviews Money, Inc. ("The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster) in the ring. IRS says The Steiner Brothers' (Rick and Scott Steiner) tag team title reign won't last long, and that they threw in a rematch clause when they signed the contract to face The Steiners. Ted DiBiase then makes fun of Razor Ramon losing his money to The 1-2-3 Kid, saying Ramon is stupid for walking out on national television against "a virtual nobody," not beating him, losing his cool and trying to bribe The Kid for a return match. The crowd chants "Razor" at this point, and DiBiase tells Razor to go back to the same school as the Steiners so that they can have three Steiner brothers: Moe, Larry and Curly. When Vince says if they're scared of the Steiners, they say they're not shaking in their boots and that they're not hard to find.

Adam Bomb beats P.J. Walker (misnamed B.J. Walker).

Crush beats Bastion Booger.

"Macho Man" Randy Savage is at Giants Stadium in New York with Joe Morris, who has also accepted Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji's challenge.

Next week on Raw: The 1-2-3 Kid, Bam Bam Bigelow and Mr. Perfect are in action.
