Raven is attacked by Diamond Dallas Page and Bam Bam Bigelow outside of the arena in footage from earlier today and tossed into a dumpster.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
Eddie Guerrero shows up on Nitro for the first time in months since his automobile accident. We see some photos of the car that Eddie was thrown 100 feet from. Eddie says that he suffered a lacerated liver and a broken hip socket, and had to have reconstructive surgery done on his shin and ankle. He says it feels great to be back, and says he took wrestling for granted. He is now grateful to be able to walk again, and hopefully, get back in the ring again. Eddie Guerrero then guests on commentary.
Kidman beats Hak in a hardcore match by disqualification after Hugh Morrus interferes. During the match, Tank Abbott shows up with his own posse. He mentions the steel cage match between Sting and Rick Steiner tonight, and says both men do not know what hardcore is as he has fought in a cage more times than he can count. He says he will be the referee for that match, and he will be here and he will bring hell if he does not. Abbott and his posse then leave. After the match, Brian Knobbs shows up and attacks Hak with an aluminum garbage can before putting him through a table. We then see WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon on the phone. Flair asks for eight girls to be delivered to his hotel room before making sure that "Macho Man" Randy Savage's top rope elbow is banned. Dillon tells him that is indeed banned and that Flair will be the one to officially ban it anytime in the show that he wants. Flair goes so far as to say that it will be banned on all WCW programming.
Eddie Guerrero thanks everyone who prayed for him to get better, and also thanks WCW and Eric Bischoff for keeping him employed for the five months that he was down and out. He leaves the commentary table.
Diamond Dallas Page and Bam Bam Bigelow show up. DDP says he doesn't get the people at all, and says they feel nothing. All he knows is that he tried to do the right thing after he injured Hollywood Hogan and apologized for it, saying it was the wrong thing to do. He tried to apologize, but all he got in return was Hogan knocking him out as he came walking towards the ring and running his mouth about how he is #1 on Hogan's hit parade. DDP says he and Bam Bam Bigelow are considering putting Hogan out permanently. They also brag about "taking out the trash" concerning their attack on Raven earlier today, and says they would rather face Raven and Saturn for the WCW World Tag Team Championships tonight and do it with a little East Coast attitude.
Mike Tenay tells Saturn and Kanyon about Diamond Dallas Page and Bam Bam Bigelow's attack on Raven - who is now in the hospital - as well as DDP and Bigelow's challenge for the tag team titles tonight. Kanyon tells Tenay to go tell the Executive Committee to make the match official for tonight.
DJ Ran is seen at a turntable. Curt Hennig then guests on commentary again this week. He says that he heard what DJ Ran had to say about him, and says he is tired of rap music and Konnan and Rey Mysterio Jr., and considers singing a country song to DJ Ran. He then heads to the aisle and calls out Bobby Duncum Jr., who shows up wearing a cowboy hat and hands him a hat of his own. Duncum and Hennig walk up to DJ Ran, and Hennig gives him until the count of three to leave. DJ Ran almost leaves, and Hennig is about to sing when Konnan and Rey Mysterio Jr. show up. Konnan tells Hennig and Duncum are trying to "flex game where they ain't got none," and after Hennig says he can slap that smile off his face, this leads to a brief brawl that officials have to break up. Hennig says if they want a piece of him, he'll rip them a new one.
It is announced that Rey Mysterio and Konnan will face Curt Hennig and Bobby Duncum Jr. later tonight.
Van Hammer beats Evan Karagias.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. He says there is a big dispute between The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko), as Benoit wants to be free and Flair has "become a gelding." He says Malenko is tied up and having to clean up Flair's mess. He then asks Malenko to come out, and he shows up. Piper tells Malenko he thinks he is the greatest Cruiserweight Champion of all time and a great technical wrestler, but says everyone wants to know what is going on. Malenko grabs the microphone and says the reality is self-explanatory. He says that he and Benoit did not walk away from The Horsemen or Ric Flair. Instead, Ric Flair walked away from them. WCW President Flair shows up along with Arn Anderson, and Piper tells Flair and Anderson that Malenko has a point and that he wants to make it known to the public. Malenko tells Flair that for the last eight to ten months, he and Benoit had to sit in the back and listen to Flair feed his ego every night. He says that Flair does not get is that it is not about extravagant living anymore and that it is about passing the torch. Malenko says a lot of established wrestler doesn't get the fact that the newer wrestlers will have to be the ones to take WCW to the new millennium. Flair says he is glad Piper has a job as a microphone stand, and says that without him, there are no Horsemen, Benoits or Malenko, and until he can see anyone who can hold the torch, he's not passing it, and tells Malenko and Piper that he and Anderson are the big cheeses and to meet them head on. Malenko tells Anderson he put his heart and soul in the Horsemen, and that this is not what they talked about. Anderson says Malenko came to him, not the other way around, and said that if he was to come out of retirement, it was to bring the Horsemen back to the prominence it once held. He says wrestling is a man's sport performed by men, and that this disagreement can be patched up and that neither person has to pick up their ball and go home because a disagreement exists. Malenko says Anderson doesn't get it, as he was swearing night after night, as he made a commitment for the Horsemen while Flair was being committed. He says a week ago, he would have bent over backwards and watched Arn's back because he believed in him, but that was last week. Malenko leaves, and Anderson follows him. Piper tells Flair his cabinet is falling apart, and that he will see him in Baltimore. Flair attacks Piper from behind as he leaves, then rips his shirt off and chops and punches him. Flair then takes his own shirt off, and the two men brawl. Piper quickly gets the upper hand and punches Flair in the face multiple times before whipping Flair with his belt. Flair and Piper then start fighting outside of the ring, and Flair ends up retreating to the back.
Eric Bischoff guests on commentary for the next match.
Before the next match, Curt Hennig tries to sing a country song, but Rey Mysterio Jr. and Konnan drop kick him and Bobby Duncum Jr. out of the ring before Hennig can even sing one line.
Konnan and Rey Mysterio Jr. beat Curt Hennig and Bobby Duncum Jr. when Duncum hits Konnan with a cowbell as Konnan has Hennig in the Tequila Sunrise. After the match, Duncum hogties Konnan with his rope, then Hennig knocks Rey out.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage shows up. He says there is a rumor going around that Kevin Nash is not going to wait until The Great American Bash, as he is tired of Savage making him ridiculous by painting his face with lipstick and wants to fight him tonight. Savage says there is not one person in the arena tonight who believes that Nash can beat him. Madusa shows up as Savage continues to speak, and tells him Gorgeous George has seen Kevin Nash in the building. Savage says it's on and it's hit the fan, and he will treat Nash like a coward and push him back into the closet where he needs to stay.
It is revealed that Diamond Dallas Page and Bam Bam Bigelow have laid Kanyon out backstage.
David Flair beats Erik Watts after WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair distracts the referee from the apron and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson hits Watts with a spinebuster.
Buff Bagwell talks with WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair in Flair's office, and asks for a match with "Macho Man" Randy Savage tonight. Flair says that he does not have the match, as he is not in Savage's league. He is placed in a match against Bobby Eaton later tonight, and if he can beat Eaton, he can prove that he is almost ready for Savage. Buff says that if Flair puts him in the ring with Eaton, Eaton will get hurt, and asks Flair if that is what he wants. Flair says yes. Buff Bagwell high-fives Flair and leaves.
Before the next match, "The Cat" Ernest Miller says he is here for only one reason: to whup somebody. He says he is sick and tired of Scott Norton running in on his matches, and calls Norton out. Norton shows up.
Ernest "The Cat" Miller beats Scott Norton after Sonny Onoo hands The Cat a crowbar and distracts the referee. The black-and-white nWo is seen watching Norton tear The Cat apart in the locker room, and when Norton loses, they immediately try to skip town.
When "Macho Man" Randy Savage shows up for his next match, he calls out Kevin Nash, but a fake Kevin Nash - who is wearing a red sequined dress, red pumps and a pageant sash saying Miss Big Sexy '99" and is also much shorter than the real deal - shows up instead. Savage says that Nash has "come out of the closet." The fake Nash is also seen with a replica of the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage beats "Kevin Nash" to win the "WCW World Heavyweight Championship." Savage distracts the referee, then Madusa kicks the fake Nash and removes his shoes before Miss Madness hits him with a top rope hurricanrana. Savage then distracts the referee again along with Madusa and Miss Madness so Gorgeous George can hit Nash with a top rope elbow drop.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.
Buff Bagwell beats Bobby Eaton.
Before the next match, it is announced that Kanyon has received medical attention. Saturn says Diamond Dallas Page and Bam Bam Bigelow only made him mad when they sent Raven and Kanyon to the hospital, and says they can do it two-on-one. When DDP and Bam Bam Bigelow show up and DDP tries to confirm what Saturn has just said, he says that Saturn is stupider than he looks.
Diamond Dallas Page and Bam Bam Bigelow beat Saturn to become the WCW World Tag Team Champions! During the match, Kanyon runs to the ring with a hospital band on his left wrist, and Saturn tags him in. Unfortunately for Kanyon, he goes down after one discus punch from DDP.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage, Gorgeous George, Madusa and Miss Madness take a limousine out of the arena when an two sewer trucks blocks their path. The real Kevin Nash comes out of the second one and dumps a pipe full of sewage water from the top of the limousine into the limousine itself. Savage and the ladies have to get out of the limousine immediately. We then hear a message from Kevin Nash stating that this portion of Nitro was brought to us by Louis Septic Services (the name of the company on the second truck), "for all your Savage sewage needs."
DJ Ran announces the dropping of the steel cage for the next match.
Rick Steiner vs. Sting in a steel cage ends in a no-contest. During the match, special guest referee and UFC fighter Tank Abbott pushes Rick Steiner out of the corner, causing Sting to miss with the Stinger Splash in the corner. Abbott leaves the cage and walks out with his teammates as Rick Steiner tapes Sting to the top rope with athletic tape and continues to attack Sting as the show ends.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for May 3, 1999
"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is in his limo with the big-busted nurse from last week's episode as well as "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, telling WCW Vice President Charles Robinson that Anderson got him out of the mental hospital, and to hold the show with them. The other guys from the mental hospital are on a bus to the show.
Riki Rachtman interviews audience members on whether or not "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is crazy. We then see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
We see more footage of Gorgeous George training for her match at Slamboree.
Riki Rachtman interviews WCW's Nascar driver Jerry Nadeau, who says that it is good to be here tonight. He talks about WCW Motorsports' high placing in Talladega, and also talks about the new Goldberg car.
Before the next match, The Armstrong Brothers (Scott and Steve Armstrong) brag about "breaking the Armstrong Curse" by beating Raven last week, and say that although the next match is not a title match, they plan to prove they are championship material.
Rey Mysterio Jr. and Kidman beat The Armstrong Brothers (Scott and Steve Armstrong). After the match, The Four Horsemen ("The Crippler" Chris Benoit) get in the ring and attack Rey and Kidman, then Raven and Perry Saturn chase Benoit and Malenko away. Raven and Saturn help Rey and Kidman up, but this leads to a short brawl between these two teams where Raven and Saturn come out on top. Benoit and Malenko come back into the ring with a steel chair and take out Raven with a step toe hold into the chair before a Crippler Crossface on Saturn and a Texas Cloverleaf on Raven.
We see a short video package of Goldberg.
Before the next match, "The Cat" Ernest Miller tells Buff Bagwell that he can dance and pose, but tonight, he had better be ready to fight. He gives Buff five seconds to leave the ring, as his hands and feet are registered weapons and he can rip his heart out with his bare hands. Buff refuses to leave.
Buff Bagwell beats "The Cat" Ernest Miller after Sonny Onoo accidentally kicks The Cat. The Cat chases Onoo to the back after the match.
WCW Bashin' Brawlers are now available!
"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair's limo shows up as well as the bus full of mental hospital patients, who are all wearing Florida Gators boxers. Flair, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, the nurse, WCW Vice President Charles Robinson and WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon all make their way to the ring, where they are met by "Mean" Gene Okerlund. Flair says the President is back, and tonight, stuff is going to be straightened out. He wants to know Sting, Goldberg, Diamond Dallas Page, "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Gorgeous George are at so he can talk to them all. He asks for Savage and Gorgeous George to come out to the ring, and says that when Robinson is done with Gorgeous George at Slamboree, the "Lil' Nature Boy" will be "the little man." Flair says Savage is no longer reinstated and that he is fired, and tells Savage to show up with Gorgeous George. He also announces that he will become a 15-time World champion when he kicks DDP's "two-timed ass" tonight, as he has signed and sealed the match. He also says that in Charlotte, North Carolina, he can be as nuts as he wants to be. As far as his match with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper is concerned, he says that Piper is at home in the mountains thanking the Lord that he was temporarily incarcerated, and tells Piper he will be naked and be the President if he wants to be, and head to Piper's home and make love to his wife if he wants to, because he is Ric Flair. When it comes time for another commercial break, Flair threatens to be naked again, and Savage heads to the ring with Madusa, Gorgeous George and Miss Madness.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage shows up with Madusa, Gorgeous George and Miss Madness. WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair tells Savage that he is fired, as he is back and in control. He then calls for the police, but Savage tells Flair that after Slamboree, Gorgeous George will be all over Charles Robinson. Security shows up to take Savage, Madus and Miss Madness away, but Savage fights security off. Flair grabs Gorgeous George, and security and local law enforcement grab Savage and take him, Miss Madness and Madusa away. Flair tells Okerlund to shut up, then Robinson tells Gorgeous George that he will buy her a pack of gum because a bimbo cannot chew gum and walk at the same time. Gorgeous George punches Robinson in the back of the head, and Flair's nurse friend ends up choking her out. Flair then demands that security remove Gorgeous George from the building. Flair then declares that he will beat Diamond Dallas Page tonight for the World title and defend the title against Kevin Nash on Sunday night. He then calls Sting a punk and says Goldberg could not get him or "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson on his best day. Sting shows up, and Flair keeps telling Sting "you ain't the franchise." Sting punches Flair, who hides behind Anderson before telling Goldberg to get in the ring and telling Sting he is lucky he doesn't kick his ass in the ring tonight. Goldberg shows up and stares down with Sting, then punches Flair. Sting and Goldberg then get in a shoving match before they both brawl. Security gets back in the ring to hold both men back, but they do not fare well at all against Sting and Goldberg, who continue to brawl in the ring until more security come out along with local law enforcement. Both men are held back, but as Sting is taken backstage, he runs back in the ring and gets to Goldberg before a few more seconds before security and local law enforcement manage to keep both men separated again.
WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is seen telling Stevie Ray that if he can take out Kevin Nash, he will pay him $100,000.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.
Hak vs. Bam Bam Bigelow in a Hardcore Match ends when Brian Knobbs shows up and repeatedly attacks Bigelow. During the match, it is announced that Diamond Dallas Page will guest star on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno tomorrow night.
Stevie Ray tells WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair has offered him $50,000 to take out Kevin Nash. The black-and-white nWo go out and look for Kevin Nash. Meanwhile, one of the mental patients is seen in the locker room bathroom.
We see a short video package of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.
One of the guys from the mental hospital tells Kevin Nash about Stevie Ray's plans to take him out under order from WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair.
Before the next match, Konnan announces that he has gotten a match signed for Slamboree, and if he sends the black-and-white nWo after him again, he will have a solution for it.
Konnan beats Horace Hogan by disqualification when he is attacked by the black-and-white nWo again. As they continue to attack Konnan, Kevin Nash shows up and fights the black-and-white nWo off himself. Afterwards, Kevin Nash and Konnan bump fists, showing that they have made amends.
It is revealed that one of the mental patients is in the production truck.
WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair meets with his son David Flair as well as Torrie Wilson. He thanks David for putting him in the mental hospital and getting his thoughts back in his order. He gives David Flair a match on Nitro, with Charles Robinson as the referee. As soon as David Flair leaves, Flair tells "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson to put David in a match with Meng, and tells Robinson to tell Meng that David Flair said he can't go in the ring anymore.
A red SUV limo shows up, and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper comes out of the back of it. He is not happy with the fact that WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair mentioned his family earlier tonight, and heads into the building looking for Flair. He finds him and attacks him with a trash can. A policeman shows up only to be attacked by Piper, and Piper punches Flair a few times in front of the mental patients, who go crazy. Piper tells Flair that he will take him from the mental ward to the emergency ward at Slamboree as he puts a "Reality Check" shirt over Flair's head.

WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair finds Scott Steiner backstage, and Scott Steiner tells him that Kevin Nash is his.
We see a live press conference with Miss Elizabeth and Lex Luger. Unfortunately, it is marred by technical difficulties before it can happen.
As Scott Steiner looks for Kevin Nash, he finds Buff Bagwell and attacks him, and tells him he will kick his ass at Slamboree.
Three of the Nitro Girls and two of the mental patients are seen in the aisle before Meng makes his entrance for the next match.
Meng pins David Flair with the Tongan Death Grip. After the match, WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair shows up as trainer Danny Young checks on David, and Flair raises the ire of Torrie Wilson, who grabs at his tie. David Flair is placed on a stretcher, and Ric tells him "Send me away again!"

The footage of Gorgeous George training for her match with Charles Robinson this Sunday at Slamboree is replayed.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Diamond Dallas Page. DDP says there has nobody come in as a manager, become a color commentator, then became a wrestler and worn the World title like he did, that nobody has recently defended the title like he has, and that nobody has been 2-time World champion faster than him. DDP says he is hitting legendary status, and that around the corner, people will look at him like they do John Elway for football, Wayne Gretzky for hockey or Michael Jordan for basketball. He says the only difference between them and him is that he is in his prime, which brings him to WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. He has heard Flair talking about changing the rules and changing the posters, wanting to make it him vs. Kevin Nash for the World title. He understands why Flair is reaching for the brass ring and wanting to be him as he sees a little bit of him and Flair. He then says the only difference himself and Flair is that he is in his prime, then tells Flair that to be the man, you've got to beat the man.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.
Booker T retains the WCW World Television Championship against Curt Hennig by disqualification after Stevie Ray gets in the ring and attacks Hennig. After the match, Rick Steiner shows up and fights Booker T.

Local law enforcement find out they have to round up the mental patients, as a release form has not been signed for any of them.
Diamond Dallas Page retains the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. During the match, "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Gorgeous George shows up before Flair can put DDP in the Figure Four Leg Lock. George grabs at Flair's hair, causing referee Charles Robinson to chase her to the back. Savage gives DDP a foreign object, and DDP uses it to knock Flair out. Referee Scott Dickinson rushes into the ring to make the pinfall, and DDP retains.

Goldberg shows up and stares down with Sting, then punches Flair. Sting and Goldberg then get in a shoving match before they both brawl. Security gets back in the ring to hold both men back, but they do not fare well at all against Sting and Goldberg, who continue to brawl in the ring until more security come out along with local law enforcement. Both men are held back, but as Sting is taken backstage, he runs back in the ring and gets to Goldberg before a few more seconds before security and local law enforcement manage to keep both men separated again.
WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is seen telling Stevie Ray that if he can take out Kevin Nash, he will pay him $100,000.

Hak vs. Bam Bam Bigelow in a Hardcore Match ends when Brian Knobbs shows up and repeatedly attacks Bigelow. During the match, it is announced that Diamond Dallas Page will guest star on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno tomorrow night.
Stevie Ray tells WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair has offered him $50,000 to take out Kevin Nash. The black-and-white nWo go out and look for Kevin Nash. Meanwhile, one of the mental patients is seen in the locker room bathroom.
We see a short video package of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.
One of the guys from the mental hospital tells Kevin Nash about Stevie Ray's plans to take him out under order from WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair.
Before the next match, Konnan announces that he has gotten a match signed for Slamboree, and if he sends the black-and-white nWo after him again, he will have a solution for it.
Konnan beats Horace Hogan by disqualification when he is attacked by the black-and-white nWo again. As they continue to attack Konnan, Kevin Nash shows up and fights the black-and-white nWo off himself. Afterwards, Kevin Nash and Konnan bump fists, showing that they have made amends.
It is revealed that one of the mental patients is in the production truck.
WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair meets with his son David Flair as well as Torrie Wilson. He thanks David for putting him in the mental hospital and getting his thoughts back in his order. He gives David Flair a match on Nitro, with Charles Robinson as the referee. As soon as David Flair leaves, Flair tells "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson to put David in a match with Meng, and tells Robinson to tell Meng that David Flair said he can't go in the ring anymore.
A red SUV limo shows up, and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper comes out of the back of it. He is not happy with the fact that WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair mentioned his family earlier tonight, and heads into the building looking for Flair. He finds him and attacks him with a trash can. A policeman shows up only to be attacked by Piper, and Piper punches Flair a few times in front of the mental patients, who go crazy. Piper tells Flair that he will take him from the mental ward to the emergency ward at Slamboree as he puts a "Reality Check" shirt over Flair's head.

We see a live press conference with Miss Elizabeth and Lex Luger. Unfortunately, it is marred by technical difficulties before it can happen.
As Scott Steiner looks for Kevin Nash, he finds Buff Bagwell and attacks him, and tells him he will kick his ass at Slamboree.
Three of the Nitro Girls and two of the mental patients are seen in the aisle before Meng makes his entrance for the next match.
Meng pins David Flair with the Tongan Death Grip. After the match, WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair shows up as trainer Danny Young checks on David, and Flair raises the ire of Torrie Wilson, who grabs at his tie. David Flair is placed on a stretcher, and Ric tells him "Send me away again!"

DDP says there has nobody come in as a manager, become a color commentator, then became a wrestler and worn the World title like he did, that nobody has recently defended the title like he has, and that nobody has been 2-time World champion faster than him. DDP says he is hitting legendary status, and that around the corner, people will look at him like they do John Elway for football, Wayne Gretzky for hockey or Michael Jordan for basketball. He says the only difference between them and him is that he is in his prime, which brings him to WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. He has heard Flair talking about changing the rules and changing the posters, wanting to make it him vs. Kevin Nash for the World title. He understands why Flair is reaching for the brass ring and wanting to be him as he sees a little bit of him and Flair. He then says the only difference himself and Flair is that he is in his prime, then tells Flair that to be the man, you've got to beat the man.

Booker T retains the WCW World Television Championship against Curt Hennig by disqualification after Stevie Ray gets in the ring and attacks Hennig. After the match, Rick Steiner shows up and fights Booker T.

Diamond Dallas Page retains the WCW World Heavyweight Championship against "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. During the match, "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Gorgeous George shows up before Flair can put DDP in the Figure Four Leg Lock. George grabs at Flair's hair, causing referee Charles Robinson to chase her to the back. Savage gives DDP a foreign object, and DDP uses it to knock Flair out. Referee Scott Dickinson rushes into the ring to make the pinfall, and DDP retains.

The show starts with a performance by The Nitro Girls.
We hear from Jimmy Baron at the Nitro Party, where he interviews grand prize winner Howard Krinsky.
Hugh Morrus, now with a shaved head, beats Glacier.
"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair shows up with his three children - David, Reid and Ashley (future WWE women's wrestling superstar Charlotte Flair) and The Four Horsemen ("The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, Dean Malenko) as "Mean" Gene Okerlund welcomes Flair to the arena. Scores of WCW employees are seen applauding Flair and his family and associates as he enters the building. Flair says this is a proud moment for him, and he is glad to be surrounded by the people who supported, stood by and believed in him, and calls World Championship Wrestling the world's greatest organization on earth. He acknowledges that Eric Bischoff has run over a lot of people, and has been asked what he will do to Bischoff when he becomes WCW President. Flair tells Bischoff to get in the ring if he does not want to work for somebody else tomorrow morning. Eric Bischoff shows up as Okerlund tells Flair he is making Bischoff eat crow, but Flair says he is merely making Bischoff return to his roots. Flair says he has a lot to say, but he wants Bischoff's undivided attention as he does it. Flair says that over the last five years, Bischoff has taken great pride - almost to the point of self-dedication - of making him feel small on many occasions, not only in front of his contemporaries but also his peers. It would be easy for him to tell him to pick up his last paycheck and that it has been nice seeing him, but he has put a lot of thought into this. As of right now, Bischoff works for Tony Schiavone in the announcing booth, and tells him he can cut his salary in half because he will not be visible on camera anymore. As Bischoff heads to the commentary table, Flair also mentions what Bischoff did to referee Randy Anderson more than a year ago, terminating him and embarrassing him in front of his wife and children. Flair then brings out Randy Anderson, and gives him his position as a referee in the company back, with double the salary. Flair then thanks "Macho Man" Randy Savage for playing a big part in making him President, acknowledges he left due to Bischoff's actions, and welcomes him back. Flair then makes a decree - at Souled Out, he will book himself in a handicap match against Curt Hennig and Barry Windham - and makes it known that World Championship Wrestling, not the New World Order, is putting it on. Flair's son David then asks to become his partner at Souled Out. Flair does not think David is ready, but Arn Anderson tells him "He knows what he's doing." The handicap match then becomes a tag team match.
Booker T beats Emery Hale. (At this point, Bischoff's role on commentary - where he replaces Mike Tenay on commentary - is a very reluctant one where he says nothing.)
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.
Chavo Guerrero Jr. beats Normal Smiley with a sunset flip. After the match, Normal Smiley attacks Chavo.
"The Crippler" Chris Benoit beats Horace Hogan with the Crippler Crossface. (This match is Randy Anderson's first match as a referee since being reinstated.)
Police surround Goldberg, telling him that they have a warrant for his arrest. Goldberg says he has done nothing but positive things for the community, and that they cannot take him downtown for something he did not. He tells them that it will take every bullet and spray of mace to take him to the precinct. One of the cops, who he is acquainted with, manages to persuade Goldberg to come with them and allow himself to be cuffed with two sets of handcuffs. Goldberg maintains he is innocent before and during the application of the handcuffs.
As Goldberg is taken to the precinct, Kevin Nash shows up, wanting to know what is going on. All of a sudden, someone is laughing, and Nash wants to know what is funny. That person is Hollywood Hogan, who hasn't been seen in the last few weeks and is making his way to the arena. Meanwhile, two detectives are interviewing Miss Elizabeth.
Chris Jericho beats Saturn by disqualification. During the match, Jericho accidentally slaps referee Scott Dickinson during an inverted atomic drop, then tosses him in front of a springboard cross body by Saturn before kicking Saturn in the groin and hitting the Lionsault. As Jericho puts Saturn in the Lion Tamer, and Dickinson calls for the bell as soon as he comes to.
At the police precinct across the street from the arena, Goldberg is told that he has been charged with aggravated stalking, and that Miss Elizabeth is the one who has filed charges.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls, then join Jimmy Baron at the Nitro Party in the luxury box.
We see Miss Elizabeth being interviewed. He says the last place Goldberg met her was at the water cooler, that he follows her everywhere, and that she feels threatened. She also
We see a Latino World Order party, complete with women, low riders, and a mariachi band. Eddie is seen bossing the other members around while he and his bodyguards have all the fun. Meanwhile, Psychosis and a few other members agree that Eddie has changed too much.
Psychosis and Juventud Guerrera beat Kidman and Rey Mysterio Jr.
We see local police interview Goldberg concerning Miss Elizabeth's accusations of stalking.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Kevin Nash. Nash says that Bill Goldberg got screwed at Starrcade. He has watched the turn of events involving Goldberg and Miss Elizabeth, and says Hollywood Hogan is involved in all of this. Nash asks WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair to give him Hogan, saying that Hogan is still under contract. Flair shows up, and even he agrees that Hogan is pulling the strings. He says that if Hogan thinks he can get away with this, he is mistaken. He reminds Hogan he is still under contract, and if Goldberg cannot make it back in time for the match, Nash will face Hogan.
We see Miss Elizabeth interviewed again. Elizabeth complains about having to defend herself as she is interviewed and tells police everything they need to know again.
Hollywood Hogan shows up. Hogan says it is obvious that the world of professional wrestling still revolves around him. He wanted to take the time tonight to say goodbye tonight, and says there is no better night than tonight to do it. He also planned on taking the time to announce his upcoming vice-presidential running mate. He says that when there is positive momentum, there is positive momentum; when there is negative momentum, there really is negative momentum. He says that seeing Goldberg being arrested made him sick to his stomach, and that what makes him just as sick is word going around that Kevin Nash has started rumors that he only retired because he is afraid to face him in the ring. Hogan then says that he has seen nWo Wolfpac huff and puff, and if WCW President "The Nature Boy" says he is going to wrestle, then he might as well give the fans one more "retirement" match, and when he retires with the WCW World Heavyweight Championship tonight, everyone will be calling him "Hollywood, The Big Bad Wolf."
After Hogan leaves, Tony Schiavone tells the viewers not to change the channel to USA Network, as Mankind - who used to work in WCW as Cactus Jack - is going to win the WWF Championship, and jokes "Heh, that'll put a few butts in seats." (The next morning, it is announced that as soon as Schiavone made this announcement, 100,000 households changed the channel and watched Mankind beat The Rock to win the WWF Championship on Raw, which effectively gives Raw the higher rating for the week over Nitro.)

We see footage from earlier today where Chris Jericho is seen talking to referee Scott Dickinson, saying that Saturn has been throwing him around and that the next time he does it, he should disqualify Saturn immediately.
Before the next match, Scott Steiner says WCW have tried to censor him and Buff Bagwell after they burned Mark McGuire's jersey. He says that every attack on WCW is for a reason. Now that he has a championship, they cannot censor him, as he is out of control and out of his mind, and he is loving it. Buff Bagwell then does a dance before making fun of WCW President "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair's heart attack again. Scott Steiner then says he has no problem beating Konnan up again. When Konnan gets in the ring, Scott and Buff almost gang up on him.

After the match, the nWo referee gets in the ring, and Scott Steiner attacks Konnan with a steel chair.

Before the next match, Eric Bischoff finally speaks on commentary, saying "Goldberg's jailbait." Also before the next match, Wrath says he has been plowing through the competition like a runaway freight train, and knows people has paid to see him "drop the thermonuclear meltdown on the dome." He has no problem with that, but has a problem with having no competition. He issues an open challenge to anyone in the back, telling someone to come on down if they want to face him. The open challenge is answered by Bam Bam Bigelow.
Wrath vs. Bam Bam Bigelow is thrown out after Bam Bam shoves referee Mickey Jay outside of the ring. After the match, both men continue to brawl all the way to the back.
The police interview Miss Elizabeth again. This time around, holes are found in her story, such as the color of Goldberg's tights (black tights vs. red tights) and where she was at (a soda machine vs. the water fountain, which she changed during the second interview), and it is also pointed out that Elizabeth keeps looking at her watch. Miss Elizabeth is threatened with being charged with falsifying a police report. Miss Elizabeth tries to talk her way out of it, saying she "could be mistaken" and that she cost Goldberg a shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.
Former Atlanta Falcons coach Jerry Glanville is seen in the crowd as Eric Bischoff pretends to fall asleep on commentary.

Goldberg is released from police custody after Miss Elizabeth has admitted to lying to police and dropped the aggravated stalking charges. Goldberg immediately heads to the Georgia Dome.
Before the next match, Hollywood Hogan shows up with Scott Steiner, while Kevin Nash shows up with Scott Hall (now wearing a Wolfpac shirt).
Hollywood Hogan beats Kevin Nash to become the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. During the match, Nash shoves Hogan to the corner. Hogan rears back, then decides against it and pokes Nash with his finger, and Nash falls down. Hogan pins Nash, and wins the championship. After the match, everyone on both sides celebrates, and it becomes revealed that this is a ploy to reunite the New World Order all along. After the match, Bischoff is his usual, joyous self as Goldberg runs to the ring and fights Scott Steiner and Scott Hall off before doing the same to Nash. Hogan hits Goldberg with the World title, but Goldberg ends up hitting Hogan with the Spear. Lex Luger shows up and allows Goldberg to hit the Jackhammer, then attacks Goldberg from behind. The numbers game catches up with Goldberg, and Luger puts Goldberg in the Torture Rack. The cuffs from earlier are still on Goldberg, and Scott Hall pulls out the cattle prod he used at Starrcade and uses it on Goldberg, which Bischoff makes fun of on commentary. Nash then hands a can of red spray paint to Hogan, while Scott Steiner a can of black spray paint. Hogan takes the red spray paint and paints "NWO 4 LIFE" on Goldberg's back, while the black spray paint ends up on the back of Goldberg's head. Hogan then spray paints "NWO" in red on the WCW World Heavyweight Championship to end the show. (The incident is known from this point forward as "The Fingerpoke of Doom," and fans and wrestling historians alike consider this match to be the moment where World Championship Wrestling "jumped the shark.")

Miss Elizabeth tries to talk her way out of it, saying she "could be mistaken" and that she cost Goldberg a shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.

Goldberg is released from police custody after Miss Elizabeth has admitted to lying to police and dropped the aggravated stalking charges. Goldberg immediately heads to the Georgia Dome.
Before the next match, Hollywood Hogan shows up with Scott Steiner, while Kevin Nash shows up with Scott Hall (now wearing a Wolfpac shirt).
Hollywood Hogan beats Kevin Nash to become the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. During the match, Nash shoves Hogan to the corner. Hogan rears back, then decides against it and pokes Nash with his finger, and Nash falls down. Hogan pins Nash, and wins the championship. After the match, everyone on both sides celebrates, and it becomes revealed that this is a ploy to reunite the New World Order all along. After the match, Bischoff is his usual, joyous self as Goldberg runs to the ring and fights Scott Steiner and Scott Hall off before doing the same to Nash. Hogan hits Goldberg with the World title, but Goldberg ends up hitting Hogan with the Spear. Lex Luger shows up and allows Goldberg to hit the Jackhammer, then attacks Goldberg from behind. The numbers game catches up with Goldberg, and Luger puts Goldberg in the Torture Rack. The cuffs from earlier are still on Goldberg, and Scott Hall pulls out the cattle prod he used at Starrcade and uses it on Goldberg, which Bischoff makes fun of on commentary. Nash then hands a can of red spray paint to Hogan, while Scott Steiner a can of black spray paint. Hogan takes the red spray paint and paints "NWO 4 LIFE" on Goldberg's back, while the black spray paint ends up on the back of Goldberg's head. Hogan then spray paints "NWO" in red on the WCW World Heavyweight Championship to end the show. (The incident is known from this point forward as "The Fingerpoke of Doom," and fans and wrestling historians alike consider this match to be the moment where World Championship Wrestling "jumped the shark.")

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for December 28, 1998
The show begins with Eric Bischoff, Buff Bagwell, Scott Steiner and Curt Hennig partying in the limousine after Starrcade. Buff Bagwell makes fun of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair's heart attack before making fun of Flair himself.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the first hour. It is announced that Howard Krimski of Atlanta, Georgia is this year's final Nitro Party contest grand prize winner. We see some footage of his Nitro Party.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
Before the next match, Ernest "The Cat" Miller tells everyone that they should be glad to see him in the ring, as he is the greatest. After making fun of how the crowd looks, he says he can beat anybody. He then says he will whup somebody tonight. All of a sudden, Chris Jericho and Ralphus show up with a third man, Shima Nobunaga, whom they consider a worthy opponent. Jericho names the guy "Shima-rama-lama-ding-dong," and says they will have his back until they end as they are true friends and mentions that he has been trained by Ultimo Dragon. This man does not look as enthusiastic as Jericho is, and The Cat nearly annihilates him.

Norman Smiley beats Chavo Guerrero Jr. with the Norman Conquest after Pepe is introduced into the match more than once. During the match, Norman Smiley's dance from the last several weeks is officially christened "The Big Wiggle" by "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko.
We see footage of Raven's homecoming. Raven, Raven's mom and Kanyon head home, and Kanyon has to keep Raven away from the alcohol. Also, the TV doesn't work.

"Mean Gene" Okerlund interviews "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, who shows up with some luggage. After last night's loss, he immediately headed for Baltimore, Maryland, the site of tonight's Nitro, after "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson told him that it was over and his wife told him to go home. He asks Eric Bischoff to hear him out for the very last time, and says his life is just starting as he tells Bischoff he has always traveled in custom-made suits and ties, for he has lived the life of a king because the people have allowed him to. After pulling out some things from his gear before pulling off his clothes and tearing a few $100 bills in half, he then takes off his shoes, tosses them into the crowd, pulls his pants off and hits an elbow drop in the middle of the ring with little more than boxer shorts and socks on. He tells Bischoff that he will leave the wrestling world forever, and sign his house, cars and whatever money he has over to him, giving him the satisfaction of saying he raped The Nature Boy if he has the guts to walk the aisle one more time. There is one stipulation: if he beats Bischoff, he gets to run WCW for 90 days, and the first thing he will do is taking Bischoff's head out of Hollywood Hogan's ass. He says Bischoff has Ted Turner blindfolded, calls him a scammer and a schemer, and tells Bischoff he has the brain of a pissant. He tells Bischoff that tradition is what it is all about, then pulls out a pair of handcuffs from his gear and cuffs him to the top rope. He then hangs on the rope, then tells Bischoff that if he turns the camera off, he will be naked when he comes back.

He says it will all be his, and Flair dares him to take everything as he continues to punch and kick at him. Bischoff tells Flair he will die of a heart attack if he does not settle down, but Flair tells him that if he dies of a heart attack, it will be on Bischoff's girlfriend, as his wife told him that Bischoff is a "Cushman scooter" after "riding [him] for 20 years." Bischoff tells Flair that if he wants him and to run the company, he's got it, and says he'll be more than happy to kick his rear end again. Flair says that if he loses his career or dies tonight, it will be with him have a piece of Bischoff in his hand.

We learn that this weapon was invented to hurt cattle and get them into a truck, and that law enforcement used it to to hurt criminals for a time. It was designed to cause a motor dysfunction, interrupting electrodes in the mind and disabling muscles. Continuous use can lead to a shutdown of the entire nervous system, and it can be concluded that this cost Goldberg the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.

He then says he is here to brag about last night's win, and he says that there are two dark clouds hanging overhead; the first being "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and Eric Bischoff over ownership of WCW and the other being Scott Hall zapping Goldberg with the cattle prod over the World title. He says that it would be smart money to bet on Kevin Nash to do the right thing, but if he is betting anything tonight, it is for Ric Flair to beat Bischoff, whom he says is toast tonight. He tells Flair he would love to work for him, and tells Bischoff he will find a whole other way to feel the bang.
Backstage, Konnan is talking to Disco Inferno. Kevin Nash whacks Disco Inferno with a rolled-up piece of paper as he shows up with Lex Luger, and chews Disco out for nearly costing him the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, even though Disco says he "took a grenade for him." Nash says he will take care of a few things in the ring shortly, and tells Disco that if he wants to be in nWo Wolfpac that badly, he can get him a match, and if he wins it, he is in. Disco agrees to the match, but Nash refuses to tell him who his opponent is, telling him "Don't worry about it."
Eddie Guerrero and Juventud Guerrera beat Rey Mysterio Jr. and Billy Kidman after Eddie sends Rey Mysterio Jr. into Kidman, sending him off the top rope.
Kevin Nash, Konnan and Lex Luger show up. Nash says there are people who are happy over his victory last night, but he wishes he could share the same sentiment. He says that when he got into the business nine years ago, he did it for three reasons: money, power and respect. He then says that last night was not about money, and that being the World champ definitely brings some power, and he plans to right some of the wrongs from Starrcade. He has gone to the WCW Executive Committee and made a match for Disco Inferno, who wants to be part of nWo Wolpfac, vs. Bam Bam Bigelow, whom he says can't stay away from both him and Goldberg. If Disco wins, he is in the Wolfpac; if not, he wants Disco to stay away from them. He also mentions Scott Hall, whom he has more love than anybody else in the world, and knows that Hall believes he did him a favor. Nash then implies Hall will have to answer to him. Nash then talks about respect, saying that he has nothing but respect for Goldberg, and demands that next Monday, he and Nash have a rematch for the World title. Nash then says he made some mistakes last night and will not make them again, and says he can kick Goldberg's ass and will give it his best shot. He then says it is ironic that the World title still has Goldberg's name on it, and if Goldberg wins it, it is his; otherwise, the nameplate will change to Nash.

It is revealed that when Ric Flair was taken to the hospital, he had an abnormally low blood pressure, and a pulse that would be rapid and violent only to become weak and irregular. It is also revealed that Flair that did not suffer a myocardial infarction; however, it is revealed that he had been poisoned by digitalis. Flair's stomach was pumped, and Flair was prescribed chloroform. The source of the toxin is still under investigation.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Eric Bischoff, who is backstage with Curt Hennig. Bischoff calls "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair's doctor is a quack, and says he will not utter another word until he has his attorney. He then tells Okerlund that he did nothing wrong when asked about Flair being poisoned.
Before the next match, Scott Steiner takes the microphone away from Konnan, and Buff Bagwell says that Baltimore, Maryland sucks. As Buff continues to speak, Konnan hits Scott Steiner and Buff's nWo referee with a facebuster. Referee Scott Dickinson replaces the nWo referee, who is carried out of the arena by arena and WCW security. Scott and Buff try to attack Dickinson, but Konnan stops them by attacking Buff.
Scott Steiner beats Konnan with the Steiner Recliner to become the WCW World Television Championship despite Lex Luger's best attempts to keep Buff Bagwell from interfering.

It is announced that The Best of Nitro, a 3-hour special, will air tomorrow night on TNT at 8 PM Eastern, 7 PM Central.

He tells Nash he handed him the World title, and yet he didn't invite him to the victory party. If Nash says he is not the guy he used to know, then Nash is not the guy he used to know, either.

As he is about to hit Flair with a choke slam, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, Diamond Dallas Page, the returning "Macho Man" Randy Savage (with a woman at his side) also show up, and Savage pretends to be back on nWo Hollywood to hit The Giant with a low blow from behind before leaving, allowing Flair to put Bischoff in the Figure Four Leg Lock for the win. Konnan and Booker T show up at the end, and everyone at ringside celebrates. Ernest "The Cat" Miller shows up. He says he is the baddest man in the world and brags about how he beats everyone he gets in the ring with. He says the people can boo him all they want, but he is the greatest, and nobody will get in the ring and beat him, and that he will whup somebody tonight. He says nobody can incite the crowd like he is doing now, because he is the greatest. All of a sudden, Santa Claus shows up and tosses candy into the crowd, and when The Cat asks him what he has for him, Santa Claus throws candy directly at his face. Santa Claus gets in the ring, and The Cat decides to fight Santa. Santa, unbeknownst to The Cat, knows how to wrestle, and it turns out to be Saturn in disguise.
Chavo Guerrero Jr. beats Kaz Hayashi. At the beginning of the match, Kaz Hayashi knocks Pepe off the ring post, causing Chavo to smack Hayashi around for disrespecting Pepe.
Kevin Nash shows up. He gives a shout-out to Goldberg, as six days from now, he will get the shot of a lifetime and become WCW World Heavyweight Champion. For the last year, everyone has seen Goldberg's meteoric rise to stardom in WCW, and he is now 173-0. What a lot of people don't know is that at one point of Nash's career, he was a world champion, and had 197 title defenses and never lost one of them. He says he has been where Goldberg is, and has been pushed and pulled in many different directions, and that as Goldberg has been doing this, that and the other, he has been preparing for Goldberg, and wants Goldberg to stay focused. "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Raven, who shows up with Kanyon. Raven says that her mother does not care about him and that she wants to get on television after seeing Judy Bagwell on Nitro, and that she is a philanthropist just so she can get on TV for donating money. When Kanyon teases Raven by asking if his mother is going to drive him home, Raven punches Kanyon and proceeds to choke him out. Raven's mom shows up and tells him not to hit his friends, and asks Raven to come home with her so he can get help, but Raven is convinced that she is here to get on television. Raven then reluctantly agrees to go home.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.

Before the next match, Eddie Guerrero tells Rey Mysterio Jr. he is losing his patience with him, and says LWO is "about all of us, not one of us." He plans to teach Rey a lesson much like he did Kidman, and Rey will not be 100% when he is done with him.
Rey Mysterio Jr. beats Eddie Guerrero. During the match, Eddie Guerrero whips Rey Mysterio Jr. into referee Charles Robinson, allowing Eddie and his bodyguard to double-team on Rey only for Rey to duck and Eddie to accidentally drop kick the bodyguard off the apron instead. Kidman gets on the apron for an impromptu double-team on Eddie, but Kidman accidentally knocks Rey down with the forearm, giving Eddie the win as Robinson comes to.

Scott Steiner shows up. He wants all the woman to know that his body is not just for show and that it can go, and when he gets them under the cover, he will be his righteous lover. He then says he is their hook-up, and to "holla if you hear me." Last week, he said he was going to recruit the top elites and bring nWo Hollywood into the next millennium, and tonight, he has a very special guest who set the baseball world on fire: the St. Louis Cardinals' own Mark McGuire. Instead of the real Mark McGuire, however, it is the nWo referee on an adult tricyle with Buff Bagwell disguised as McGuire standing on the basket in the rear. Steiner lets "McGuire" know he is one of his biggest fans, and "McGuire" says he is a wrestling fan himself and loves the nWo, and loves Scott Steiner the most out of them all. Steiner then says that "McGuire" is more of a redneck than he thought he was, to which "McGuire" replies "Hell yeah, I'm a redneck! I live in St. Louis, don't I?" Steiner then asks what it felt like when he finally broke Roger Maris' records, but Steiner catches him drinking out of a small bottle of androstenedione, and asks him if he can make it through the interview without taking it. "McGuire" says he doesn't know about his interview, but says there's no way he could have hit 70 home runs without it and says that he could probably hit only five without it. Steiner then asks "McGuire" to donate the St. Louis Cardinals jersey he is wearing to the "nWo Hall of Fame." "McGuire" says he has a tear in his eye, and says this was the actual jersey he was wearing when he hit all the home runs. Steiner says "McGuire" is dumber that he thought he was, and The "Hall of Fame" proves to be a trash can. He and "McGuire" then show what they really think of the St. Louis Cardinals. Steiner and Bagwell tear up the jersey, then take "McGuire's" St. Louis Cardinals baseball cap and set it on fire, then Bagwell says says that St. Louis, Missouri straight up sucks.

Van Hammer vs. Barry Windham ends when "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair rushes into the ring and attacks Windham, chopping him in the corner several times and hitting him with a low blow before both men start exchanging blows. Flair then puts his thumbs in Windham, then attacks the referee before cornering Windham back in the ring and chopping him a few times before hitting him with two more low blows and punching him in the face. Vincent gets involved, but Flair takes him down and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson gets in the ring to take care of Vincent. Brian Adams and Horace Hogan try to get in the ring, but "The Crippler" Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko stop team before they can get in and fight them in the aisle. The brawling then goes to the back, and arena security and local law enforcement have to hold Benoit and Brian Adams back, and Benoit and Malenko are both maced and handcuffed. Flair and Anderson are still in the ring, and Flair tells Eric Bischoff that for 25 years, he has been a man, and he could walk into the door of his house and know that his wife and kids forgave him for everything he ever did wrong because they depended on him to live day in and day out. Meanwhile, Bischoff promises the world and then tries to take his career, but it did not work as the fans would not let him do it. He admits Bischoff nearly broke him with his lawyers, but he came back after his 10-year-old son Reid asked him why he couldn't go back to WCW and beat up Eric Bischoff in the ring, and promised him he would never quit. He says he almost quit living because Eric Bischoff put his hands on his wife and kids, and says Bischoff stepped over the line. Bischoff shows up, and Flair goes after Bischoff, who sics security on Flair and has him arrested along with Anderson.
Booker T beats Jerry Flynn.
Lex Luger beats Kenny Kaos with the Torture Rack. During the match, Ronnie Rage shows up with a brace on his arm, and angrily confronts Kenny Kaos, giving Lex Luger the win. After the match, Rage confronts Kaos, asking him if he wants to ride on someone's else coattails or if they will pay their dues together.

Before the next match, Disco Inferno shows up and tells him that Alex Wright - Konnan's opponent for tonight - has gone crazy. Konnan tells Disco they are not friends and to take the Wolfpac shirt off, as he is not a member of nWo Wolfpac and that he can't just put a shirt on and says he is a member. Disco says he got the shirt from Kevin Nash, who made him a member of the Wolfpac. He says that after the match, they will talk to Nash.
Konnan retains the WCW World Television Championship against Alex Wright. After the match, Alex Wright loses his cool before leaving the ring and smacking a steel chair on the floor and the ring apron, and almost hits the referee in the process. Suddenly, Chris Jericho shows up and attacks Konnan from behind with the Television title before taking it with him.
Before the next match, Disco Inferno issues an open challenge to anyone from nWo Hollywood to face him in the ring so he can prove he is nWo Wolfpac material. The challenge is answered by The Giant.
The Giant beats Disco Inferno. After the match, The Giant says that Diamond Dallas Page is probably laying somewhere dead after what he did to him last week. He admits that DDP is a hard working man, and says that he is dead when he shows up at Starrcade when he pulls him limbs off and gives him more pain than he could ever imagine, and when all is said and done, he will mash him under his thumb. All of a sudden, DDP shows up out of the crowd, and tells The Giant that he won't be hard to find come Starrcade. He may have taken him down last week, but it's all about how many time he gets back up. He says The Giant is the biggest, but not the smartest, and he will get the Diamond Cutter around him and make him feel the bang.
Goldberg beats Scott Hall by disqualification. Kevin Nash shows up during the match, and after Goldberg hits Hall with the Spear, Bam Bam Bigelow attacks Goldberg from behind while Nash gets Hall out of the ring.

Ernest "The Cat" Miller shows up. He says he is the baddest man in the world and brags about how he beats everyone he gets in the ring with. He says the people can boo him all they want, but he is the greatest, and nobody will get in the ring and beat him, and that he will whup somebody tonight. He says nobody can incite the crowd like he is doing now, because he is the greatest. All of a sudden, Santa Claus shows up and tosses candy into the crowd, and when The Cat asks him what he has for him, Santa Claus throws candy directly at his face. Santa Claus gets in the ring, and The Cat decides to fight Santa. Santa, unbeknownst to The Cat, knows how to wrestle, and it turns out to be Saturn in disguise.
Chavo Guerrero Jr. beats Kaz Hayashi. At the beginning of the match, Kaz Hayashi knocks Pepe off the ring post, causing Chavo to smack Hayashi around for disrespecting Pepe.
Kevin Nash shows up. He gives a shout-out to Goldberg, as six days from now, he will get the shot of a lifetime and become WCW World Heavyweight Champion. For the last year, everyone has seen Goldberg's meteoric rise to stardom in WCW, and he is now 173-0. What a lot of people don't know is that at one point of Nash's career, he was a world champion, and had 197 title defenses and never lost one of them. He says he has been where Goldberg is, and has been pushed and pulled in many different directions, and that as Goldberg has been doing this, that and the other, he has been preparing for Goldberg, and wants Goldberg to stay focused. Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for December 14, 1998
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
Before the next match, Raven says he has arrived to Hell in a handbasket just like everyone else, met by the welcoming committee of fear, violence and indifference. He is thrust into the light and met by the cold, hard feel of latex, his source of pain is satisfaction for his attacker. He soon found that whatever moron had packed me had left out the instruction manual, and he was forced to rely on the charity that his mother taught him, but he did not realize that his mother's reality checks were all bouncing, and says his mother was never there for him. As Raven continues to talk about the pain he has to suffer and how everyone else has an easy life, Kanyon shows up, asks Scott Putski to leave, and tells him he and everyone else is sick of Raven complaining about his mother. Raven says he had a rough, miserable childhood, but Kanyon says that what nobody else knows is that Raven went to an Ivy League school and has a degree in pre-med, and had a $3.2 million trust fund. He also says that Raven lived in Palm Beach, Florida, had the pick of all the rich, young debutantes in the area and had a Mercedes at age 16. Raven says his mother never loved him, but Kanyon tells Raven his real problem is that he had it too easy. Raven leaves, and Kanyon tries to stop him on the way to the back, but Raven tells Kanyon to leave him alone. The match between Raven and Scott Putski never takes place.
Villano V beats Eddie Guerrero by disqualification when The Latino World Order shows up. Guerrero then tries to recruit Villano V into the LWO, and Villano V joins. Eddie tells Eric Bischoff the LWO is "one more stronger." Rey Mysterio Jr. is on the apron, but he steps off and walks away.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls at the commentary table.

We see a video package of The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, Dean Malenko) and their feud with Eric Bischoff.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Eric Bischoff. Bischoff says he has not bitten off more than he can chew, and even though there are those who think so, there is a difference between him and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, and that he is deeply rooted into the new millennium coming up and looking towards the future while Ric Flair is rooted in the past and should have been put to pasture a long time ago. He tells Flair that he is a trained killer and a dangerous man, and spent seven years perfecting his craft of knocking people out, breaking their legs and ruining their careers by punching and kicking them in the head at will. He says Flair is a very tired old man, and tells Flair that his right hand hits really hard while his left scares even himself. Suddenly, Flair runs into the ring, and runs Bischoff out of it immediately before chasing him around ringside and to the back, until Bischoff hides around the commentary table while Ric Flair makes his way to the ring. Okerlund then interviews Flair, who does knee drops on the ring and says this is what the audience wants to see. He says Bischoff that they are in Tampa, Florida, where they like wrestling more and where everyone grew up on blood, sweat and Eddie Graham until "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes showed up and blew both for and against him as everyone who was somebody went through the stage. Flair calls Bischoff "an aristocrat," and when he gets him in Washington, DC, he will strangle him half to death, and he will reach down his neck, grab his heart and pull it out to show the world he does not have one. Ric Flair then lays down in the corner, holding his left arm at the shoulder, and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson runs out to check on Flair. Trainer Danny Young shows up to check on Flair, as does "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes (even though Dusty Rhodes has been fired), referees and medical staff. A stretcher is brought out, and Flair is placed on it before it is wheeled to the back, where Flair is placed in an ambulance. Bam Bam Bigelow is seen heading into the arena, and he beats up Scott Hall for giving him the crotch chop until arena security get a hold of Bigelow. Arena security also have to hold back Kevin Nash, who immediately confronts Bam Bam Bigelow and wants a piece of him. WCW officials, WCW security and even Goldberg - who is also held back - show up, and security is spread thin at this point as Nash, Goldberg and Bigelow want a piece of each other. Terry Taylor of the WCW Executive Committee - who is in the fracas - immediately makes a Triangle Match between all three men tonight where nobody runs in and nobody interferes.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Kidman, who says that there are a lot of problems between himself, Rey Mysterio Jr. and the Latino World Order, and asks that Rey comes out here as whenever the Latino World Order is around, there has been no new #1 contender for the Cruiserweight Championship. Rey shows up, tosses the 6XL-sized LWO shirt on the ground, and enters the ring. Kidman tells Rey he has respect for everything he has done for the sport, but every time they have a match, the Latino World Order gets involved. Kidman offers him another fair match, and Rey says he's got it. He also guarantees no interference from the LWO. The match then starts immediately. It is then announced that "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair has been taken to a hospital, and that another update will be available later.
Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Kidman for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship ends in a no-contest after the Latino World Order get involved in the match. Kidman retans the WCW Cruiserweight Championship. During the match, it is announced that as per trainer Danny Young, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair was suffering shortness of breath and mild chest pains after hurting himself during his interview. Also, baseball player Wade Boggs is seen in the front row during the match. After Kidman and Rey work together against the LWO, Kidman leaves only for Rey to be ganged up on. Kidman returns back to the ring, but he does not fare much better.
Chris Jericho shows up with Ralphus and a dry erase board. Jericho says that "that Baby Huey look-alike" Konnan robbed him of the WCW World Television Championship, and calls him "the best Latino rapper since Gerardo and Rico Suave." Jericho says he is not exactly "rowdy rowdy and bowdy bowdy," but he is 235 lbs. of twisted steel and sex appeal. He then re-enacts how he lost the Television title, saying that Konnan used a foreign object to steal the title, assassinated his title reign, and might as well have been standing on a grassy knoll. Jericho then brings out "Exhibit A," a man who makes fun of Konnan and carries a shovel in his hand. Jericho then crudely draws what happened, saying he had Konnan in the Lion Tamer when Konnan pulled out a pair of brass knuckles and punched him in the side of the face. He also says that Konnan pulled out a steel chain, wrapped it around his fist and hit him in the side of the head, but Jericho says he still keep fighting until Konnan hit him in the head with a shovel and slammed him face-first into the Television title. Jericho says he grabbed the bottom rope, but the three-count still took place and he was robbed of the championship. Jericho then says you can't stop rock 'n roll or Chris Jericho, and that he is too legit to quit. He challenges Konnan for the Television title at Starrcade, then beats up the guy parodying Konnan before putting him in the Lion Tamer as he says he will prove he is the greatest showman in WCW history.

Barry Windham beats Emery Hale.
Norman Smiley beats Saturn. During the match, Saturn warns referee Charles Robinson not to put his hands on him, and Robinson slightly backs away. Also during the match, Sonny Onoo and Ernest "The Cat" Miller show up, and Miller makes fun of Norman Smiley's dancing. Saturn forearms both Onoo and Miller off the apron, then hits Norman Smiley so hard with a back elbow that Smiley runs backwards into Robinson, knocking Robinson out. Saturn is about to put Smiley in the Death Valley Driver, but Miller gets in the ring and kicks Saturn in the face before making fun of Smiley's dancing again. Referee Scott Dickinson runs in, makes the fast count, and gives Smiley the win when he goes for the pinfall before running to the back so fast that Robinson has no idea what is going on he is back up.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund Bret "The Hit Man" Hart. Before the interview, it is revealed that WCW officials are on the phone with the local hospital and that more information on "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is forthcoming. Hart says men are dropping like flies, and that what is going on with Flair reminds him of himself and all the men that he has put on the shelf as of late. He says he is hurt too, but nobody sees him hiding because he is a three-time United States Heavyweight Champion and the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. Bret says he is fair and a true champion, and as much as it takes to suck up a lot of courage and come back into the ring one more time, he will defend the United States Heavyweight Championship. He calls out Diamond Dallas Page, telling him he can have a shot at the United States title. DDP shows up, but he is hit from behind with a steel chair by The Giant almost immediately before dismantling part of the stage set and choke slamming DDP from a steel platform holding the letters "WCW" on it (of which the "C" and one of the "W's" is dismantled) into a nearby wooden landing.
Wade Boggs of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays is seen in the front row again, and Mike Alstott of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is seen in the crowd.

Konnan retains the WCW World Television Championship against Stevie Ray. During the match, Stevie Ray and Wade Boggs of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays have a brief staredown. Also during the match, Booker T confronts Stevie Ray, and dares him not to finish the match with the slapjack. Konnan ends up retaining the title after that with a facebuster.
New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner and Warren Sapp of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are seen in the luxury box.
Eric Bischoff shows up. In a break of character, Bischoff says that WCW does what they do to entertain fans around the world, and different people that he talks to in the course of his business ask him how real what they do and what is seen is, and injuries are talked about often and a little difficult to explain, but he says they are real and they are serious. He says "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, who has been in the business for a long time and has done more for pro wrestling than even he has given him credit for, has suffered a mild heart attack. He tells Flair's family and friends that he is sorry, and asks them and Flair's fans for their forgiveness, as Flair deserves a tremendous amount of credit and respect. Bischoff says he is profoundly sorry for any pain that he has caused to Flair's family and hopes that he will get a chance to look Flair's wife and children in the eye and apologize, and hopes that Flair will be back in action soon, doing what he does so well.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Booker T. Booker gives "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair his best wishes and hopes he gets well soon. As for Stevie Ray, he has no problems with Stevie Ray joining nWo Hollywood. Stevie Ray shows up and tells Booker that if he wants to talk about prayer, he should start praying for himself. He tells Booker that the crowd does not care about him, and says he joined the nWo because Booker made him. Stevie says if it wasn't for Booker T, they would still be the best tag team today despite what commentary says about them. He then reminds Booker T that he made him, and chews him out for wearing dress clothes and ties and "working for people like [Okerlund]."
A woman is seen trying to enter the arena, looking for Raven. This woman is Raven's mom. Kanyon shows up and tells her he is no longer at the arena, and offers to take her to see Raven. The $50 ride - which is $50 because Kanyon needs the money - ends up being free.
Scott Hall beats Horace Hogan by disqualification after nWo Hollywood attacks Hall. Disco Inferno rushes in with an nWo Wolfpac tanktop on, but he gets torn apart by the black-and-white nWo.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.
Scott Steiner beats Van Hammer with the Steiner Recliner. After the match, Scott Steiner tells the crowd that as they look at the greatest body in professional sports to pay homage to the new leader of nWo Hollywood, and says that WCW realizes that he was not talking trash when nWo would take on more of his personality and attitude. He says every attack on WCW has been calculated and done for a reason. After announcing that he knows nWo Wolfpac is in the building, and says that as large as nWo is, he is looking for an elite athlete who can take the nWo to the new millennium and make it greater than it already is. He then calls out Lex Luger, saying he is the man that should have won the World War 3 match. Luger shows up and gets in the ring, and Buff says that when he had his neck injury, Luger was one of the first to see him, and credits him as a big help in his recovery. He says that Luger is always giving, but never receiving, and says he has not even seen Lex Luger in Konnan's music video even once. He asks if Konnan asked him to be in the video, if Kevin Nash asked him to be in the commercials for the new Wolfpac shirt, and says that Sting left him hanging when he went to do movies. He reminds Luger that Kevin Nash sent him over the top rope in the World War 3 match, and that he should have a World title shot but does not. Scott Steiner says he is the new king of the world and knows where Luger's career should be at, and asks if Luger knows, too, as he says that Luger should be getting title shots as he knows what a great athlete he is. He then asks Luger to consider dropping the Wolfpac for nWo Hollywood, and Buff shows him a black-and-white nWo Hollywood shirt. Steiner asks him to think about it, and Luger leaves the ring. Scott tells Luger he can make him famous, but Luger continues to head to the back.
Goldberg vs. Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Kevin Nash in a Triangle Match ends after Scott Hall shows up and attacks Goldberg before going at it with Bigelow. Golberg and Nash then go at it in the ring as the show ends.
Before the next match, Raven says he has arrived to Hell in a handbasket just like everyone else, met by the welcoming committee of fear, violence and indifference. He is thrust into the light and met by the cold, hard feel of latex, his source of pain is satisfaction for his attacker. He soon found that whatever moron had packed me had left out the instruction manual, and he was forced to rely on the charity that his mother taught him, but he did not realize that his mother's reality checks were all bouncing, and says his mother was never there for him. As Raven continues to talk about the pain he has to suffer and how everyone else has an easy life, Kanyon shows up, asks Scott Putski to leave, and tells him he and everyone else is sick of Raven complaining about his mother. Raven says he had a rough, miserable childhood, but Kanyon says that what nobody else knows is that Raven went to an Ivy League school and has a degree in pre-med, and had a $3.2 million trust fund. He also says that Raven lived in Palm Beach, Florida, had the pick of all the rich, young debutantes in the area and had a Mercedes at age 16. Raven says his mother never loved him, but Kanyon tells Raven his real problem is that he had it too easy. Raven leaves, and Kanyon tries to stop him on the way to the back, but Raven tells Kanyon to leave him alone. The match between Raven and Scott Putski never takes place.
Villano V beats Eddie Guerrero by disqualification when The Latino World Order shows up. Guerrero then tries to recruit Villano V into the LWO, and Villano V joins. Eddie tells Eric Bischoff the LWO is "one more stronger." Rey Mysterio Jr. is on the apron, but he steps off and walks away.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls at the commentary table.

We see a video package of The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, Dean Malenko) and their feud with Eric Bischoff.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Eric Bischoff. Bischoff says he has not bitten off more than he can chew, and even though there are those who think so, there is a difference between him and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, and that he is deeply rooted into the new millennium coming up and looking towards the future while Ric Flair is rooted in the past and should have been put to pasture a long time ago. He tells Flair that he is a trained killer and a dangerous man, and spent seven years perfecting his craft of knocking people out, breaking their legs and ruining their careers by punching and kicking them in the head at will. He says Flair is a very tired old man, and tells Flair that his right hand hits really hard while his left scares even himself. Suddenly, Flair runs into the ring, and runs Bischoff out of it immediately before chasing him around ringside and to the back, until Bischoff hides around the commentary table while Ric Flair makes his way to the ring. Okerlund then interviews Flair, who does knee drops on the ring and says this is what the audience wants to see. He says Bischoff that they are in Tampa, Florida, where they like wrestling more and where everyone grew up on blood, sweat and Eddie Graham until "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes showed up and blew both for and against him as everyone who was somebody went through the stage. Flair calls Bischoff "an aristocrat," and when he gets him in Washington, DC, he will strangle him half to death, and he will reach down his neck, grab his heart and pull it out to show the world he does not have one. Ric Flair then lays down in the corner, holding his left arm at the shoulder, and "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson runs out to check on Flair. Trainer Danny Young shows up to check on Flair, as does "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes (even though Dusty Rhodes has been fired), referees and medical staff. A stretcher is brought out, and Flair is placed on it before it is wheeled to the back, where Flair is placed in an ambulance. Bam Bam Bigelow is seen heading into the arena, and he beats up Scott Hall for giving him the crotch chop until arena security get a hold of Bigelow. Arena security also have to hold back Kevin Nash, who immediately confronts Bam Bam Bigelow and wants a piece of him. WCW officials, WCW security and even Goldberg - who is also held back - show up, and security is spread thin at this point as Nash, Goldberg and Bigelow want a piece of each other. Terry Taylor of the WCW Executive Committee - who is in the fracas - immediately makes a Triangle Match between all three men tonight where nobody runs in and nobody interferes.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Kidman, who says that there are a lot of problems between himself, Rey Mysterio Jr. and the Latino World Order, and asks that Rey comes out here as whenever the Latino World Order is around, there has been no new #1 contender for the Cruiserweight Championship. Rey shows up, tosses the 6XL-sized LWO shirt on the ground, and enters the ring. Kidman tells Rey he has respect for everything he has done for the sport, but every time they have a match, the Latino World Order gets involved. Kidman offers him another fair match, and Rey says he's got it. He also guarantees no interference from the LWO. The match then starts immediately. It is then announced that "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair has been taken to a hospital, and that another update will be available later.
Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Kidman for the WCW Cruiserweight Championship ends in a no-contest after the Latino World Order get involved in the match. Kidman retans the WCW Cruiserweight Championship. During the match, it is announced that as per trainer Danny Young, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair was suffering shortness of breath and mild chest pains after hurting himself during his interview. Also, baseball player Wade Boggs is seen in the front row during the match. After Kidman and Rey work together against the LWO, Kidman leaves only for Rey to be ganged up on. Kidman returns back to the ring, but he does not fare much better.
Chris Jericho shows up with Ralphus and a dry erase board. Jericho says that "that Baby Huey look-alike" Konnan robbed him of the WCW World Television Championship, and calls him "the best Latino rapper since Gerardo and Rico Suave." Jericho says he is not exactly "rowdy rowdy and bowdy bowdy," but he is 235 lbs. of twisted steel and sex appeal. He then re-enacts how he lost the Television title, saying that Konnan used a foreign object to steal the title, assassinated his title reign, and might as well have been standing on a grassy knoll. Jericho then brings out "Exhibit A," a man who makes fun of Konnan and carries a shovel in his hand. Jericho then crudely draws what happened, saying he had Konnan in the Lion Tamer when Konnan pulled out a pair of brass knuckles and punched him in the side of the face. He also says that Konnan pulled out a steel chain, wrapped it around his fist and hit him in the side of the head, but Jericho says he still keep fighting until Konnan hit him in the head with a shovel and slammed him face-first into the Television title. Jericho says he grabbed the bottom rope, but the three-count still took place and he was robbed of the championship. Jericho then says you can't stop rock 'n roll or Chris Jericho, and that he is too legit to quit. He challenges Konnan for the Television title at Starrcade, then beats up the guy parodying Konnan before putting him in the Lion Tamer as he says he will prove he is the greatest showman in WCW history.

Norman Smiley beats Saturn. During the match, Saturn warns referee Charles Robinson not to put his hands on him, and Robinson slightly backs away. Also during the match, Sonny Onoo and Ernest "The Cat" Miller show up, and Miller makes fun of Norman Smiley's dancing. Saturn forearms both Onoo and Miller off the apron, then hits Norman Smiley so hard with a back elbow that Smiley runs backwards into Robinson, knocking Robinson out. Saturn is about to put Smiley in the Death Valley Driver, but Miller gets in the ring and kicks Saturn in the face before making fun of Smiley's dancing again. Referee Scott Dickinson runs in, makes the fast count, and gives Smiley the win when he goes for the pinfall before running to the back so fast that Robinson has no idea what is going on he is back up.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund Bret "The Hit Man" Hart. Before the interview, it is revealed that WCW officials are on the phone with the local hospital and that more information on "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair is forthcoming. Hart says men are dropping like flies, and that what is going on with Flair reminds him of himself and all the men that he has put on the shelf as of late. He says he is hurt too, but nobody sees him hiding because he is a three-time United States Heavyweight Champion and the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be. Bret says he is fair and a true champion, and as much as it takes to suck up a lot of courage and come back into the ring one more time, he will defend the United States Heavyweight Championship. He calls out Diamond Dallas Page, telling him he can have a shot at the United States title. DDP shows up, but he is hit from behind with a steel chair by The Giant almost immediately before dismantling part of the stage set and choke slamming DDP from a steel platform holding the letters "WCW" on it (of which the "C" and one of the "W's" is dismantled) into a nearby wooden landing.

Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for December 7, 1998
It is announced that Goldberg and Bam Bam Bigelow will be wrestling tonight.
We see footage from moments ago where Scott Steiner attacks WCW's mascot, Wildcat Willy.
We see a performance by The Nitro Girls.
Scott Steiner shows up. He says that he's heard steers and queers come from Texas, and he doesn't see anyone "wearing dresses like "Rowdy" Roddy Piper," and says he's tired of women hanging out with all the rednecks. If they want to be hustled by some real muscle, they're ready to get put down by "Big Poppa Pump." He then says he is their hook-up, and to "holla if you hear me." He then tells the crowd to give a standing ovation for Hollywood Hogan, who has just retired, and then tells them to bow down to him, as Hogan retired with class and dignity as the greatest champion of all time. He says that he and Hogan are like brothers, and that Hogan is no fool, as he knew he was the only man who could fill his shoes and has the longest arms in the world and can get the job done. He then brags about laying out Scott Hall last week, and that tonight, he does what Hogan wants him to and break a leg, as it will be Hall's last night in professional wrestling.
Mike Ray from Coumont, Tennessee is the this week's Nitro Party Pack winner. We see footage from his Nitro party.
Diamond Dallas Page beats Kendall Windham.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Eddie Guerrero. He calls Rey Mysterio Jr. "a selfish little turd" for signing a contract to wrestle behind his back, and says Rey will learn that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the self, and says Rey will be disciplined tonight much like how he disciplines his children at home. He calls out Silver King, whom he says will prove that he is worthy of wearing the Latino World Order by dealing with Rey tonight.
Rey Mysterio Jr. beats Silver King.
Goldberg shows up with members of the WCW Championship Committee when Kevin Nash shows up, saying Goldberg has a match with him and not Bam Bam Bigelow. After being told the match with Bam Bam Bigelow is official and one-night only, Kevin Nash says the match won't happen and tells Goldberg he had better focus on him and Starrcade. Goldberg tells Nash "there isn't a second where I don't dream of driving your ass right through that mat."
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.
Wrath beats The Renegade. (This ends up being The Renegade's final match in WCW, as he would be released soon after. Sadly, The Renegade, aka Rick Wilson, would commit suicide two months later at the age of 33.)
Baseball player Roger Clemens and his sons are in the crowd tonight.
Before the next match, Disco Inferno shows up and brings out Konnan, who has no idea what Disco Inferno's "blockbuster announcement" and threatens to drop him on his head on the stage. Disco then announces that Kevin Nash has allowed him into nWo Wolfpac. Konnan's facial expression immediately after hearing this news seems to debunk this.
Stevie Ray and Horace Hogan beat Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Disco Inferno by hitting Disco with a double-team spike piledriver as the ref is out of position dealing with Chavo.
Kevin Nash shows up, and says that if Goldberg thinks he is running the show, he is not. He does not care what Goldberg wants, as he signed for a match with him and that is the only match he is going to have. Nash then tells Bam Bam Bigelow and Goldberg that he is going to the back and putting his gear on, and if either of them think they are going to come into the ring without him in it, they are sadly mistaken, as he just made tonight a three-way dance.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.
Before the next match, Ernest "The Cat" Miller and Sonny Onoo show up, and Miller says he came here to beat the crap out of Saturn. Unfortunately, since he hurt his ankle getting out of his Cadillac, tonight is his lucky tonight. As Miller continues to talk, Glacier hits Saturn with a side kick from behind. Miller says that if Saturn wants some, to come get some, but the way it looks right now, he won't have to do anything and Glacier will do the work for him.
Glacier beats Saturn by disqualification when Ernest "The Cat" Miller interferes. Referee Scott Dickinson gets hit with a Death Valley Driver after Saturn hears this.

Before the next match, Chris Jericho says that it wasn't too long ago since The Bad News Bears played in the Astrodome and not too long ago since that he destroyed "that Texas" Bobby Duncum Jr., because he and the Jerichoholics both hate cowboys. Even though Duncum is from Texas, he is the true hometown hero.
Chris Jericho beats Bobby Duncum Jr. after hooking his feet on the top rope for leverage during the pinfall.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the third hour.
The Giant beats Scott Putski with a single choke slam. After the match, The Giant says that if Diamond Dallas Page wanted his attention, he's got it. He then tells the crowd that if they think DDP is the people's champion and is like Santa Clause, then he is like The Grinch. He challenges him to a match at Starrcade, saying it will be an easy payday for him and that he has a special present for him in the form of a choke slam.
Konnan is seen talking to the nWo Hollywood referee, threatening to "tape [him] up real good."
The Four Horsemen ("The Crippler" Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko) vs. Raven and Kanyon never takes place. Before the match, Raven refuses to take part in the next match, and leaves Kanyon high and dry once again even after he tells Raven he has been there for him and asks him to be there in return. Kanyon then announces that Raven is not teaming with him again, and he does not care because it is all Raven's fault that his name went down as the one to break the 20-year "Armstrong Curse," and that The Four Horsemen nearly beat him within an inch of his life. He refuses to wrestle tonight, as the odds against him are 2-on-1 - 2 1/2-on-1 if you count Anderson. He then says he will challenge either Benoit or Malenko on Thursday night, and tells them to be there. He runs into "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, and when Kanyon tells him to get out of the way, Anderson pulls out a crowbar and scares him into the ring. Benoit and Malenko get a few shots in, then Anderson scares Kanyon back out of the ring with the crowbar.

Flair says they will be humbled in Houston, Texas tonight, and tells Eric Bischoff to get off his girlfriend, get off his treadmill and hear him tonight, as his dictatorship is about to come to an end. Flair namedrops local legends from Texas wrestling history, saying they bled one gallons and sweated five just so Bischoff could have a job. He says the Horsemen spent years two years trying to bottle it up, but at Starrcade, he will torture the respect out of Bischoff, and it will be like going to his funeral. In one night, the Horsemen will take his paycheck, his job, his life, his dignity and take back professional wrestling, as WCW is bigger than Bischoff will ever be.

Booker T is about to strike Stevie Ray, and dares him to go ahead and do it. He tells Booker T that hitting him with a slapjack is what he should have been doing, and to think about nWo Hollywood.
Before the next match, Scott Hall says he has heard what Scott Steiner has had to say about putting him out of wrestling, and says he is too stupid to quit. He calls Scott Steiner out, saying that if he wants him, don't bring it, sing it. Scott Steiner shows up, but his referee does not follow him to the ring. Scott Steiner wants to know where he is, thinking Scott Hall has something to do with this. The nWo referee shows up all wrapped up in tape, and referee Mickey Jay, who is right behind him, pushes him to the ground before entering the ring.
Scott Hall vs. Scott Steiner ends with nWo Hollywood attacking Scott Hall while Steiner chases referee Mickey Jay out of the ring. Suddenly, Diamond Dallas Page shows up with a steel chair, clearing the ring out as he smacks the steel chair into The Giant.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Bret "The Hit Man" Hart. Bret says he has a few problems now, and has to decide between fighting him and fighting The Giant. He then brags about being United States champ once again, saying him holding the belt is proof he is the greatest of all time. He knew this would a special week when his cat jumped into his arm now that the US title is around his waist again. He tells DDP to stay out of his way, and tells him to go ahead and fight the Giant, but if DDP gets in his way again, he will excellently execute him. Bret says everyone has written him off as a bag of bones heading for the glue factory, but the fact of the matter is that he's just getting started, and tells the locker room to take a good look at the United States title, because he has proved himself one more time.
Bam Bam Bigelow and Kevin Nash immediately go at it in the ring. Goldberg runs to the ring, giving Roger Clemens a high-five backstage on the way there, and all three men have a brawl. Referees, officials, local law enforcement and arena security all have to hold back all three men.

Scott Steiner shows up. He says that he's heard steers and queers come from Texas, and he doesn't see anyone "wearing dresses like "Rowdy" Roddy Piper," and says he's tired of women hanging out with all the rednecks. If they want to be hustled by some real muscle, they're ready to get put down by "Big Poppa Pump." He then says he is their hook-up, and to "holla if you hear me." He then tells the crowd to give a standing ovation for Hollywood Hogan, who has just retired, and then tells them to bow down to him, as Hogan retired with class and dignity as the greatest champion of all time. He says that he and Hogan are like brothers, and that Hogan is no fool, as he knew he was the only man who could fill his shoes and has the longest arms in the world and can get the job done. He then brags about laying out Scott Hall last week, and that tonight, he does what Hogan wants him to and break a leg, as it will be Hall's last night in professional wrestling.

"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Eddie Guerrero. He calls Rey Mysterio Jr. "a selfish little turd" for signing a contract to wrestle behind his back, and says Rey will learn that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the self, and says Rey will be disciplined tonight much like how he disciplines his children at home. He calls out Silver King, whom he says will prove that he is worthy of wearing the Latino World Order by dealing with Rey tonight.
Rey Mysterio Jr. beats Silver King.
Goldberg shows up with members of the WCW Championship Committee when Kevin Nash shows up, saying Goldberg has a match with him and not Bam Bam Bigelow. After being told the match with Bam Bam Bigelow is official and one-night only, Kevin Nash says the match won't happen and tells Goldberg he had better focus on him and Starrcade. Goldberg tells Nash "there isn't a second where I don't dream of driving your ass right through that mat."
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour.
Wrath beats The Renegade. (This ends up being The Renegade's final match in WCW, as he would be released soon after. Sadly, The Renegade, aka Rick Wilson, would commit suicide two months later at the age of 33.)
Baseball player Roger Clemens and his sons are in the crowd tonight.
Before the next match, Disco Inferno shows up and brings out Konnan, who has no idea what Disco Inferno's "blockbuster announcement" and threatens to drop him on his head on the stage. Disco then announces that Kevin Nash has allowed him into nWo Wolfpac. Konnan's facial expression immediately after hearing this news seems to debunk this.
Stevie Ray and Horace Hogan beat Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Disco Inferno by hitting Disco with a double-team spike piledriver as the ref is out of position dealing with Chavo.
Kevin Nash shows up, and says that if Goldberg thinks he is running the show, he is not. He does not care what Goldberg wants, as he signed for a match with him and that is the only match he is going to have. Nash then tells Bam Bam Bigelow and Goldberg that he is going to the back and putting his gear on, and if either of them think they are going to come into the ring without him in it, they are sadly mistaken, as he just made tonight a three-way dance.

Before the next match, Ernest "The Cat" Miller and Sonny Onoo show up, and Miller says he came here to beat the crap out of Saturn. Unfortunately, since he hurt his ankle getting out of his Cadillac, tonight is his lucky tonight. As Miller continues to talk, Glacier hits Saturn with a side kick from behind. Miller says that if Saturn wants some, to come get some, but the way it looks right now, he won't have to do anything and Glacier will do the work for him.
Glacier beats Saturn by disqualification when Ernest "The Cat" Miller interferes. Referee Scott Dickinson gets hit with a Death Valley Driver after Saturn hears this.

Before the next match, Chris Jericho says that it wasn't too long ago since The Bad News Bears played in the Astrodome and not too long ago since that he destroyed "that Texas" Bobby Duncum Jr., because he and the Jerichoholics both hate cowboys. Even though Duncum is from Texas, he is the true hometown hero.
Chris Jericho beats Bobby Duncum Jr. after hooking his feet on the top rope for leverage during the pinfall.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the third hour.
The Giant beats Scott Putski with a single choke slam. After the match, The Giant says that if Diamond Dallas Page wanted his attention, he's got it. He then tells the crowd that if they think DDP is the people's champion and is like Santa Clause, then he is like The Grinch. He challenges him to a match at Starrcade, saying it will be an easy payday for him and that he has a special present for him in the form of a choke slam.
Konnan is seen talking to the nWo Hollywood referee, threatening to "tape [him] up real good."
The Four Horsemen ("The Crippler" Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko) vs. Raven and Kanyon never takes place. Before the match, Raven refuses to take part in the next match, and leaves Kanyon high and dry once again even after he tells Raven he has been there for him and asks him to be there in return. Kanyon then announces that Raven is not teaming with him again, and he does not care because it is all Raven's fault that his name went down as the one to break the 20-year "Armstrong Curse," and that The Four Horsemen nearly beat him within an inch of his life. He refuses to wrestle tonight, as the odds against him are 2-on-1 - 2 1/2-on-1 if you count Anderson. He then says he will challenge either Benoit or Malenko on Thursday night, and tells them to be there. He runs into "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson, and when Kanyon tells him to get out of the way, Anderson pulls out a crowbar and scares him into the ring. Benoit and Malenko get a few shots in, then Anderson scares Kanyon back out of the ring with the crowbar.
We see a video package chronicling the recent events between "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair and Eric Bischoff.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews The Four Horsemen ("The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, "The Enforcer Arn Anderson, "The Crippler" Chris Benoit, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, Dean Malenko). Mongo shows up alongside Flair as he makes his way to the ring. Flair says they will be humbled in Houston, Texas tonight, and tells Eric Bischoff to get off his girlfriend, get off his treadmill and hear him tonight, as his dictatorship is about to come to an end. Flair namedrops local legends from Texas wrestling history, saying they bled one gallons and sweated five just so Bischoff could have a job. He says the Horsemen spent years two years trying to bottle it up, but at Starrcade, he will torture the respect out of Bischoff, and it will be like going to his funeral. In one night, the Horsemen will take his paycheck, his job, his life, his dignity and take back professional wrestling, as WCW is bigger than Bischoff will ever be.
Konnan retains the WCW World Television Championship against Booker T by disqualification. During the match, Stevie Ray shows up and hits Konnan in the back with a slapjack. Booker T is about to strike Stevie Ray, and dares him to go ahead and do it. He tells Booker T that hitting him with a slapjack is what he should have been doing, and to think about nWo Hollywood.
Before the next match, Scott Hall says he has heard what Scott Steiner has had to say about putting him out of wrestling, and says he is too stupid to quit. He calls Scott Steiner out, saying that if he wants him, don't bring it, sing it. Scott Steiner shows up, but his referee does not follow him to the ring. Scott Steiner wants to know where he is, thinking Scott Hall has something to do with this. The nWo referee shows up all wrapped up in tape, and referee Mickey Jay, who is right behind him, pushes him to the ground before entering the ring.
Scott Hall vs. Scott Steiner ends with nWo Hollywood attacking Scott Hall while Steiner chases referee Mickey Jay out of the ring. Nitro-Glycerin - Monday Nitro recap for November 16, 1998
The show starts with a performance by The Nitro Girls.
A motorcade of limousines and police escorts arrives at the arena. Once again, Secret Service agents ask for the camera crew to step back.
Juventud Guerrera beats Kidman to become the WCW Cruiserweight Champion! Kidman personally hands Juvi the belt and raises his hand in a show of respect after the match.
Before the next match, Raven says that when he was a child, just like Judy Bagwell, his mom used to tell him where to go, what to do and when to do it. He is an adult now, and WCW is not going to tell him when to wrestle, who to wrestle or how to do it. He tells Wrath he can have this match without him. Kanyon grabs the microphone and asks Raven to wrestle the match, telling him to snap out of it as nobody gets more airtime without wrestling than he does. Raven insists on not wrestling, and Kanyon decides to take his place in the match, even though he is supposed to wrestle Glacier in the next match. After Kanyon asks "Who's better than Kanyon," Wrath immediately hits him from behind and puts him in the Meltdown. Since the bell never rang, the match never happened, and Wrath leaves. But as Glacier shows up and Wrath leaves, and Wrath turns around and follows him. Wrath then gets back in the ring and puts Glacier in the Meltdown.
After the commercial break, Kanyon and Glacier are still down in the center of the ring, and Wrath has already left. Referee Mickey Jay is still there, and he calls for the bell. Kanyon manages to go for the pinfall attempt just before the ten-count.
Kanyon beats Glacier.
Apollo Russell is this week's Nitro Party Pack winner. We see some footage from his Nitro Party.
Sonny Onoo beats El Gringo after Ernest "The Cat" Miller shows up as the referee is focused on Sonny Onoo and lays out El Gringo - who unmasks himself to reveal he is Kaz Hayashi after Onoo tells him he paid him to get in the ring with him- and tells Onoo to get back in the ring and pin him.

Stevie Ray and Horace Hogan beat The Four Horsemen (Dean Malenko and Steve "Mongo" McMichael). After "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson beats up Vincent at ringside - allowing Stevie Ray to hit Mongo with a flapjack - Anderson hits Stevie Ray with a tire iron. Head of WCW Security Doug Dellinger gets on the apron, and demands Anderson hand over the tire iron.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour. It is announced that "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson has been escorted out of the building due to the use of the tire iron, and that Steve "Mongo" McMichael has been taken to a local hospital after being hit in the head with a slapjack by Stevie Ray.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. He says that "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson is heading to jail courtesy of Eric "No guts, no gonads" Bischoff. As for Steve "Mongo" McMichael, he is all man and he is a Horseman. He says tradition, reality and life are the difference between himself and Bischoff, and if Bischoff was a man, he would chop him so hard that he would be the first man with four nipples: two in the front and two in the back. Since Bischoff is not a man, he plans to get to him another way. Tonight, because he is Ric Flair, he will introduce a man who is one of the greatest wrestlers alive and a Horseman of yesterday and today: Barry Windham, whom Flair says Bischoff knows nothing about as Windham is an honest worker. Windham says Bischoff is about to find out that things in WCW are as they should be, and that he and Flair are about tradition. Suddenly, Eric Bischoff shows up and reminds Flair and Windham that he fired Windham years ago and would be glad to do it again, and tells Flair that he cannot hire anybody or use Ted Turner's money, while he can. Flair tells Bischoff he is using his money on what he wants to spend it on, and that Windham will tear up "Bischoff's girlfriend" tonight and take Miss Elizabeth downtown night. He tells Miss Elizabeth to get ready, because Barry Windham is in town.
Before the next match, Eddie Guerrero asks Rey Mysterio Jr. to be part of the Latino World Order due to his respect for him and how good he is. He makes Rey a deal: if he wins, Rey has to join the LWO. If Rey wins, he will let him be. Rey agrees to the deal.
Eddie Guerrero beats Rey Mysterio after Eddie's unnamed bodyguard distracts the referee. As this happens, Juventud Guerrera gets in the ring to help Rey with a springboard leg drop, but Juvi ends up accidentally hitting Rey instead. Eddie then gets the frog splash for the win.
We see Judy Bagwell at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia, where she is currently in a hospital bed after Scott Steiner laid her out in an untelevised incident. He calls out her son Buff Bagwell for his actions last week, and asks what it is going to take to get him to stop and think about what he is doing. She wants Buff Bagwell gone and wants Marcus Bagwell back, the way he used to be, and says that Buff needs to stop.
Scott Putski vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr. ends in a no-contest. During the match, it is reported by "Mean" Gene Okerlund that Bam Bam Bigelow - who is still employed by Extreme Championship Wrestling and is not part of WCW- has come out of a Cadillac. He breaks into Goldberg's dressing room, tears things up backstage and heads to the ring in an attempt to look for Goldberg. He gets in the ring and lays out Putski with a clothesline before doing the same to Chavo, and powerbombs Putski before tossing Chavo over the top rope. He then grabs a microphone and calls Goldberg out. Eric Bischoff and WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon show up with local law enforcement and WCW security, and want Bigelow out of the arena. As police corner Bam Bam Bigelow, Goldberg shows up with security of his own, and runs into the ring. All the security forces in the ring have their hands full keeping both men apart. Bischoff then blames Dillon for the incident, and demands he see him in the back now.
Eric Bischoff fires WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon after the Goldberg/Bam Bam Bigelow incident. Dillon tells Bischoff he can "run this madhouse" any way he wants, and that he cannot fire him because he quits. Dillon then gets in a Cadillac and leaves.
Before the next match, Saturn mentions his match with Eddie Guerrero from a few weeks ago where Konnan shows up and asks him to take care of the Latino World Order. Saturn says Konnan only did this to plug himself, and challenges him to a match. Konnan shows up and tells Saturn he's not going to plug him; instead, he's going to "punk him." Shortly after Konnan does his pre-match promo, Saturn attacks Konnan from behind.
Saturn vs. Konnan ends in a no-contest. The Latino World Order shows up during the match. Also during the match, "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Eric Bischoff outside of Goldberg's dressing room, and Bischoff says he fired J.J. Dillon for "screwing up everything that he touches" and "trying to follow in his footsteps." He says he will talk to Goldberg, and says that Bam Bam Bigelow is not an employee of WCW, nor will he be part of World War 3. He also says that Goldberg has better things to do than to take on any "Joe Blow" that challenges him. Goldberg suddenly comes out of his dressing room and forces a match with Bigelow tonight out of Bischoff by pinning Bischoff to the wall and demanding the match. Near the end of the match, La Parka holds down Saturn from the apron, but Konnan attacks La Parka. The LWO shows up and attacks Saturn, and when Konnan tries to help him, Saturn punches him before going after the LWO. Konnan tells Saturn that this is not over, and to get back in the ring. Saturn goes right after Konnan, and after a tackle, he throws Konnan's head against the steel steps and punches him in the back of the head. It takes referees, officials and WCW security to get Saturn off of Konnan.

Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell show up with their own referee, who has piercings and black and white paint on his head, a black-and-white striped referee shirt and black denim pants on, and a whistle in his mouth. Buff Bagwell says he and Scott do not like Wichita, Kansas, and also has their own referee. Buff says the difference between their referee and WCW referees is that their referee can count to three, and if they have him in the ring, Scott Steiner will be holding the World Tag Team titles. Scott and Buff then have their referee show the proper way to count to three. Scott then says he is not talking to "10,000 fat, corn-fed heffers" that the people in Wichita calls women. He is talking to the ten million women who watch him on TV, saying not to adjust their set because he looks this good and that there is nothing finer than Scott Steiner. When he lays them down so sweet, they will call him their sugar daddy, and when he gets them between the sheets and his body rocks their body, they'll know they've been with more than just a man, and in the morning, they will call him "Superman." He tells all the "freaks" out there that he is their hook-ups, and to "holla if you hear me." Scott Steiner then says that nWo Hollywood is stronger than blood, and when Buff gave him permission to take Judy Bagwell out, that proved to him that they are friends for life. Scott and Buff hugs, and their referee brings out a woman who happens to be Scott Steiner's mom. Scott Steiner returns the favor to Buff by having him knock his own mother out so the referee can count to three. Rick Steiner then shows up, and Scott, Buff and the referee flee the ring. Rick helps his mom up, removes the wig, and reveals that this is just a man dressed up as a woman, revealing this is not their mother at all. Buff says he would have done the same thing to Rick's real mother. All of a sudden, Scott Norton is holding Rick from behind, and Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell attack Rick. Scott then tells Rick he has laid executives and referees out, and that if Rick shows up at World War 3, he will end his career. Norton, Scott Steiner and Buff then pin Rick down so their referee counts to three.
Bobby Duncum Jr. beats Chris Jericho in his WCW debut by count-out after Jericho walks out of the match. Chris Jericho retains the WCW World Television Championship.
Secret Service agents are seen moving into place, then Hollywood Hogan shows up. Once again, a large American flag is unfurled, and red, white and blue baloons and confetti fall from the ceiling. Hogan says this week has been the greatest week of his life, as his family and friends could not believe how America embraced Hollywood and realizes Hogan is the only man who can run America. He thanks the press, the media, and each and every American and nWo-ite for embracing him and giving him his faith in letting him know that he is the man for the job. Hogan says he loves America and will lead it. His campaign manager, Eric Bischoff, has been quite busy tonight, and he is a little worried that with all the confusion, he might not be up to speed to answer the letters, cards and phone calls concerning his campaign, and for that he is proud to introduce a new person in the campaign who will do just that: his brand new intern, who looks suspiciously like Monica Lewinsky, who is led to the ring by head of WCW Security Doug Dellinger. Hogan says that his campaign team will not let the people down, and that American shall be the richest country, every child will have an education, and that America will be a peaceful place to live in. "Monica" is the first to congratulate Hogan, and says that everyone knows that a United States President loves a good cigar as she pulls one out of her blouse. Hogan and "Monica" then make out before "Monica" is escorted back to the back. Hogan then asks Eric Bischoff to come to the ring, and lets all the nWo-ites that the campaign trail is as solid as all the nWo-ites out there. He says that nWo Hollywood has talked about it in the back, and have concluded that they can handle professional wrestling and elected office. Bischoff shows up, and Hogan tells him he understands his concern for the safety of Goldberg. Hogan eases his concerns by saying that no matter which direction Goldberg flips or flops, he will be on top of it and he will take the WCW World Heavyweight Championship from him. Bischoff says he knows Hogan would never let the company down, and says that he always has and always will have faith in him to take care of business. Hogan then brings out Scott Hall, and Hogan says Scott Hall knows everyone is in this as a team, and Hall says that when you're nWo, you're nWo for life. He says it is not just a slogan and that they live it, and asks Bischoff where his head is at. Bischoff tells Hall he does not have to question his loyalty, especially after everything that he has done for the nWo and that this is not the time and the place. Hall says it is, and Bischoff says they will take care of the family business later...a lot later. He then tells Hall to head to the backso they can take care of business later, but Hall knocks out Bischoff. Hogan responds by beating up Hall, punching him in the face and choking him out with his boa. Kevin Nash runs into the ring to make the save for Hall, then Nash tells Hall he will see him on Sunday before leaving the ring.

"The Crippler" Chris Benoit beats Bret "The Hit Man" Hart by disqualification. During the match, Hart introduces a steel chair into the match, but Benoit punches it into his face as soon as Hart turns around. Benoit then tries to hit Hart with the chair, but referee Mickey Jay stops him from doing that, allowing Bret to hit Benoit from behind with a low blow. Hart then smashes the top of the chair into the arm of Benoit, ending the match. After the match, Bret continues to attack Benoit in the recently injured with the steel chair and shoves Mickey Jay to the side. Dean Malenko then rushes in and attacks Hart, saving Benoit and forcing Hart to retreat from the ring. As Malenko checks on Benoit, however, Hart runs back into the ring and blindsides Malenko before attacking Benoit again. Diamond Dallas Page shows up and fights Hart, sending him over the top rope and out of the ring. Hart tries to run away, but DDP is not done and sends Hart into the steel steps. Hart runs away, and asks Bret where he is going because he asked him to bring the United States title to him. Hart looks back for a moment, then heads back to the back. At this point, David Penzer holds the microphone for DDP. DDP says that when he thinks of Bret, he puts him on the same level as Hollywood Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, and says they're all the same animal but just a different kind of scum. He knows that Hart called him out, knowing he was laid up, asking for the United States title, and tells him to come and get it. Bret does not show up. DDP then says it does not matter how many times he goes down, but how many times he gets back up, and he is up, back and jacked. He plans to take Bret with him, and before J.J. Dillon was fired, Dillon made a match between him and Bret for the US title at World War 3, and if Bret wants some, he can come get some.
Bam Bam Bigelow shows up and gets in the ring, as does Goldberg. Bigelow runs to the ramp as Goldberg's entrance pyro goes off, and both men brawl near the crowd until security and local law enforcement have to pull both men apart as the show ends.

After the commercial break, Kanyon and Glacier are still down in the center of the ring, and Wrath has already left. Referee Mickey Jay is still there, and he calls for the bell. Kanyon manages to go for the pinfall attempt just before the ten-count.

Apollo Russell is this week's Nitro Party Pack winner. We see some footage from his Nitro Party.
Sonny Onoo beats El Gringo after Ernest "The Cat" Miller shows up as the referee is focused on Sonny Onoo and lays out El Gringo - who unmasks himself to reveal he is Kaz Hayashi after Onoo tells him he paid him to get in the ring with him- and tells Onoo to get back in the ring and pin him.
We see another performance by The Nitro Girls.
Stevie Ray and Horace Hogan beat The Four Horsemen (Dean Malenko and Steve "Mongo" McMichael). After "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson beats up Vincent at ringside - allowing Stevie Ray to hit Mongo with a flapjack - Anderson hits Stevie Ray with a tire iron. Head of WCW Security Doug Dellinger gets on the apron, and demands Anderson hand over the tire iron.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the second hour. It is announced that "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson has been escorted out of the building due to the use of the tire iron, and that Steve "Mongo" McMichael has been taken to a local hospital after being hit in the head with a slapjack by Stevie Ray.
"Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. He says that "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson is heading to jail courtesy of Eric "No guts, no gonads" Bischoff. As for Steve "Mongo" McMichael, he is all man and he is a Horseman. He says tradition, reality and life are the difference between himself and Bischoff, and if Bischoff was a man, he would chop him so hard that he would be the first man with four nipples: two in the front and two in the back. Since Bischoff is not a man, he plans to get to him another way. Tonight, because he is Ric Flair, he will introduce a man who is one of the greatest wrestlers alive and a Horseman of yesterday and today: Barry Windham, whom Flair says Bischoff knows nothing about as Windham is an honest worker. Windham says Bischoff is about to find out that things in WCW are as they should be, and that he and Flair are about tradition. Suddenly, Eric Bischoff shows up and reminds Flair and Windham that he fired Windham years ago and would be glad to do it again, and tells Flair that he cannot hire anybody or use Ted Turner's money, while he can. Flair tells Bischoff he is using his money on what he wants to spend it on, and that Windham will tear up "Bischoff's girlfriend" tonight and take Miss Elizabeth downtown night. He tells Miss Elizabeth to get ready, because Barry Windham is in town.
Before the next match, Eddie Guerrero asks Rey Mysterio Jr. to be part of the Latino World Order due to his respect for him and how good he is. He makes Rey a deal: if he wins, Rey has to join the LWO. If Rey wins, he will let him be. Rey agrees to the deal.
Eddie Guerrero beats Rey Mysterio after Eddie's unnamed bodyguard distracts the referee. As this happens, Juventud Guerrera gets in the ring to help Rey with a springboard leg drop, but Juvi ends up accidentally hitting Rey instead. Eddie then gets the frog splash for the win.
We see Judy Bagwell at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia, where she is currently in a hospital bed after Scott Steiner laid her out in an untelevised incident. He calls out her son Buff Bagwell for his actions last week, and asks what it is going to take to get him to stop and think about what he is doing. She wants Buff Bagwell gone and wants Marcus Bagwell back, the way he used to be, and says that Buff needs to stop.
Scott Putski vs. Chavo Guerrero Jr. ends in a no-contest. During the match, it is reported by "Mean" Gene Okerlund that Bam Bam Bigelow - who is still employed by Extreme Championship Wrestling and is not part of WCW- has come out of a Cadillac. He breaks into Goldberg's dressing room, tears things up backstage and heads to the ring in an attempt to look for Goldberg. He gets in the ring and lays out Putski with a clothesline before doing the same to Chavo, and powerbombs Putski before tossing Chavo over the top rope. He then grabs a microphone and calls Goldberg out. Eric Bischoff and WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon show up with local law enforcement and WCW security, and want Bigelow out of the arena. As police corner Bam Bam Bigelow, Goldberg shows up with security of his own, and runs into the ring. All the security forces in the ring have their hands full keeping both men apart. Bischoff then blames Dillon for the incident, and demands he see him in the back now.
Eric Bischoff fires WCW Executive Committee Chairman J.J. Dillon after the Goldberg/Bam Bam Bigelow incident. Dillon tells Bischoff he can "run this madhouse" any way he wants, and that he cannot fire him because he quits. Dillon then gets in a Cadillac and leaves.
Before the next match, Saturn mentions his match with Eddie Guerrero from a few weeks ago where Konnan shows up and asks him to take care of the Latino World Order. Saturn says Konnan only did this to plug himself, and challenges him to a match. Konnan shows up and tells Saturn he's not going to plug him; instead, he's going to "punk him." Shortly after Konnan does his pre-match promo, Saturn attacks Konnan from behind.
Saturn vs. Konnan ends in a no-contest. The Latino World Order shows up during the match. Also during the match, "Mean" Gene Okerlund interviews Eric Bischoff outside of Goldberg's dressing room, and Bischoff says he fired J.J. Dillon for "screwing up everything that he touches" and "trying to follow in his footsteps." He says he will talk to Goldberg, and says that Bam Bam Bigelow is not an employee of WCW, nor will he be part of World War 3. He also says that Goldberg has better things to do than to take on any "Joe Blow" that challenges him. Goldberg suddenly comes out of his dressing room and forces a match with Bigelow tonight out of Bischoff by pinning Bischoff to the wall and demanding the match. Near the end of the match, La Parka holds down Saturn from the apron, but Konnan attacks La Parka. The LWO shows up and attacks Saturn, and when Konnan tries to help him, Saturn punches him before going after the LWO. Konnan tells Saturn that this is not over, and to get back in the ring. Saturn goes right after Konnan, and after a tackle, he throws Konnan's head against the steel steps and punches him in the back of the head. It takes referees, officials and WCW security to get Saturn off of Konnan.
Pyrotechnics signal the start of the third hour.

We see a video package documenting the recent events between Kevin Nash and Scott Hall.
Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell show up with their own referee, who has piercings and black and white paint on his head, a black-and-white striped referee shirt and black denim pants on, and a whistle in his mouth. Buff Bagwell says he and Scott do not like Wichita, Kansas, and also has their own referee. Buff says the difference between their referee and WCW referees is that their referee can count to three, and if they have him in the ring, Scott Steiner will be holding the World Tag Team titles. Scott and Buff then have their referee show the proper way to count to three. Scott then says he is not talking to "10,000 fat, corn-fed heffers" that the people in Wichita calls women. He is talking to the ten million women who watch him on TV, saying not to adjust their set because he looks this good and that there is nothing finer than Scott Steiner. When he lays them down so sweet, they will call him their sugar daddy, and when he gets them between the sheets and his body rocks their body, they'll know they've been with more than just a man, and in the morning, they will call him "Superman." He tells all the "freaks" out there that he is their hook-ups, and to "holla if you hear me." Scott Steiner then says that nWo Hollywood is stronger than blood, and when Buff gave him permission to take Judy Bagwell out, that proved to him that they are friends for life. Scott and Buff hugs, and their referee brings out a woman who happens to be Scott Steiner's mom. Scott Steiner returns the favor to Buff by having him knock his own mother out so the referee can count to three. Rick Steiner then shows up, and Scott, Buff and the referee flee the ring. Rick helps his mom up, removes the wig, and reveals that this is just a man dressed up as a woman, revealing this is not their mother at all. Buff says he would have done the same thing to Rick's real mother. All of a sudden, Scott Norton is holding Rick from behind, and Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell attack Rick. Scott then tells Rick he has laid executives and referees out, and that if Rick shows up at World War 3, he will end his career. Norton, Scott Steiner and Buff then pin Rick down so their referee counts to three.
Bobby Duncum Jr. beats Chris Jericho in his WCW debut by count-out after Jericho walks out of the match. Chris Jericho retains the WCW World Television Championship.
Secret Service agents are seen moving into place, then Hollywood Hogan shows up. Once again, a large American flag is unfurled, and red, white and blue baloons and confetti fall from the ceiling. Hogan says this week has been the greatest week of his life, as his family and friends could not believe how America embraced Hollywood and realizes Hogan is the only man who can run America. He thanks the press, the media, and each and every American and nWo-ite for embracing him and giving him his faith in letting him know that he is the man for the job. Hogan says he loves America and will lead it. His campaign manager, Eric Bischoff, has been quite busy tonight, and he is a little worried that with all the confusion, he might not be up to speed to answer the letters, cards and phone calls concerning his campaign, and for that he is proud to introduce a new person in the campaign who will do just that: his brand new intern, who looks suspiciously like Monica Lewinsky, who is led to the ring by head of WCW Security Doug Dellinger. Hogan says that his campaign team will not let the people down, and that American shall be the richest country, every child will have an education, and that America will be a peaceful place to live in. "Monica" is the first to congratulate Hogan, and says that everyone knows that a United States President loves a good cigar as she pulls one out of her blouse. Hogan and "Monica" then make out before "Monica" is escorted back to the back. Hogan then asks Eric Bischoff to come to the ring, and lets all the nWo-ites that the campaign trail is as solid as all the nWo-ites out there. He says that nWo Hollywood has talked about it in the back, and have concluded that they can handle professional wrestling and elected office. Bischoff shows up, and Hogan tells him he understands his concern for the safety of Goldberg. Hogan eases his concerns by saying that no matter which direction Goldberg flips or flops, he will be on top of it and he will take the WCW World Heavyweight Championship from him. Bischoff says he knows Hogan would never let the company down, and says that he always has and always will have faith in him to take care of business. Hogan then brings out Scott Hall, and Hogan says Scott Hall knows everyone is in this as a team, and Hall says that when you're nWo, you're nWo for life. He says it is not just a slogan and that they live it, and asks Bischoff where his head is at. Bischoff tells Hall he does not have to question his loyalty, especially after everything that he has done for the nWo and that this is not the time and the place. Hall says it is, and Bischoff says they will take care of the family business later...a lot later. He then tells Hall to head to the backso they can take care of business later, but Hall knocks out Bischoff. Hogan responds by beating up Hall, punching him in the face and choking him out with his boa. Kevin Nash runs into the ring to make the save for Hall, then Nash tells Hall he will see him on Sunday before leaving the ring.

"The Crippler" Chris Benoit beats Bret "The Hit Man" Hart by disqualification. During the match, Hart introduces a steel chair into the match, but Benoit punches it into his face as soon as Hart turns around. Benoit then tries to hit Hart with the chair, but referee Mickey Jay stops him from doing that, allowing Bret to hit Benoit from behind with a low blow. Hart then smashes the top of the chair into the arm of Benoit, ending the match. After the match, Bret continues to attack Benoit in the recently injured with the steel chair and shoves Mickey Jay to the side. Dean Malenko then rushes in and attacks Hart, saving Benoit and forcing Hart to retreat from the ring. As Malenko checks on Benoit, however, Hart runs back into the ring and blindsides Malenko before attacking Benoit again. Diamond Dallas Page shows up and fights Hart, sending him over the top rope and out of the ring. Hart tries to run away, but DDP is not done and sends Hart into the steel steps. Hart runs away, and asks Bret where he is going because he asked him to bring the United States title to him. Hart looks back for a moment, then heads back to the back. At this point, David Penzer holds the microphone for DDP. DDP says that when he thinks of Bret, he puts him on the same level as Hollywood Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, and says they're all the same animal but just a different kind of scum. He knows that Hart called him out, knowing he was laid up, asking for the United States title, and tells him to come and get it. Bret does not show up. DDP then says it does not matter how many times he goes down, but how many times he gets back up, and he is up, back and jacked. He plans to take Bret with him, and before J.J. Dillon was fired, Dillon made a match between him and Bret for the US title at World War 3, and if Bret wants some, he can come get some.
Bam Bam Bigelow shows up and gets in the ring, as does Goldberg. Bigelow runs to the ramp as Goldberg's entrance pyro goes off, and both men brawl near the crowd until security and local law enforcement have to pull both men apart as the show ends.
