Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for March 3, 2022

Brian Myers beats Crazzy Steve in the BTI Match.

Steve Maclin beats Eddie Edwards by disqualification after Eddie hits him with a Kendo stick in full view of the referee. After the match, Eddie Edwards continues to attack Steve Maclin with the Kendo stick until Team Impact runs into the ring. Eddie then heads to the back, where Honor No More joins him. Maria Kanellis-Bennett says Team Impact is angry because they actually believed in the constructs of professional wrestling and believed in honor, and believed that Impact Wrestling is the only thing that matters. She says they have been brainwashed, and that they are questioning everything ever since Eddie Edwards has snapped back into reality. Heath calls this "the most delusional B.S. I've heard all night," but Vincent says he used to work for delusional people and that Heath thinking he will become World champion is not just delusion, but pure insanity. Vincent says that Heath is living a lie, and Heath says that while he can "dig" what Vincent is saying, he also dares Vincent to get in the ring with him so he can see just how insane he is. Heath and Vincent meet in the ring for a match that is quickly made official.

Heath beats Vincent. After the match, Honor No More and Team Impact brawl in the ring. Suddenly, Moose gets in the ring and nails Matt Taven, but Heath hits Moose with the Wake-Up Call. Heath pins Moose, and Rich Swann makes the three-count.

The Impact Plus Flashback Moment of the week is Team 3D (Brother Ray and Devon) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) vs. Beer Money, Inc. (Bobby Roode and "The Cowboy" James Storm) from Sacrifice 2010.

Masha Slamovich beats Raychell Rose.

Backstage, Tama Tonga says he and Tanga Loa are not dead weight and that business is always booming when they step into the building. Tanga Loa says he was the one who brought "Switchblade" Jay White into Bullet Club and that this is personal, then calls Jay White a liar and is threatened by them. Tanga Loa then says tonight will be really personal, then Violent By Design (Eric Young, Deaner, Joe Doering) show up. Eric Young is amazed by The Guerillas of Destiny's intensity, then proposes a business partnership where they get The Good Brothers while The Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa) get their revenge. The Guerrillas like the idea of this.

Backstage, "Speedball" Mike Bailey is met by Ace Austin and Madman Fulton. Austin says he and Fulton are the right kind of friends around here and that the three of them have a future in Impact and that he wants to take Bailey to the top with him. Bailey likes the cut of Fulton's jib and says that while Austin and Fulton have tried for tag team gold before, he and Austin have a better shot. When Bailey leaves, Fulton gets mad, but Austin calms him down.

Before the next match, The Influence (Tenille Dashwood and Madison Rayne) confiscate Kaleb with a K's cellphone before making an "X" on the floor with blue duct tape and forcing Kaleb with a K to stand there and not move.

Cassie Lee beats Madison Rayne when Tenille Dashwood knocks Jessie McKay into Kaleb with a K, who inadvertently carries Jessie in what looks like a romantic embrace. This distracts Madison Rayne and allows Cassie to hit the IInspiral for the win.

We see a video package for Jake Something vs. Trey Miguel for the Impact X Division Championship at Sacrifice.

Mickie James guests on commentary for the next match.

Tasha Steelz beats Chelsea Green to become #1 contender for the Impact Knockouts World Championship after Savannah Evans taunts Mickie to distract the referee before laying Chelsea Green out.

Backstage, two security guards demand a backstage pass from Matt Cardona, who brags about beating Jordynne Grace to everyone he meets backstage while being so paranoid that he is getting no respect to the point that he will defend the Digital Media title anywhere else but Impact.

JONAH quickly beats Johnny Swinger. After the match, JONAH is about to hit Swinger with the Tsunami for the second time when PCO shows up. When he gets in the ring, JONAH makes quick work of him and hits him with the Tsunami. As JONAH leaves the ring, however, PCO gets back up and clotheslines JONAH out of the ring.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews "The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo. Purrazzo says she is "the champ-champ" and undefeated in her "Champ-Champ Challenge." She says it does not matter who her opponent is on Saturday, then "The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw shows up and says that Purrazzo is merely doing clean-up after the beating she gave to Lady Frost and that Purrazzo is living in her shadow. Purrazzo tells Gisele Shaw to stick around long enough to see who she is before leaving, then Lady Frost shows up and tells Gisele Shaw they have a match and unfinished business at Sacrifice. She then tells Gisele Shaw that after she is done with her, Gisele can have all the spotlight she needs.

Before the next match, Bullet Club ("Switchblade" Jay White, Chris Bey, "The Big LG" Doc Gallows, "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) and the tandem of Violent By Design (Deaner and Joe Doering) and The Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa) brawl violently before the bell rings, then security storms the ring. Scott D'Amore shows up and says that this match will not take place in its current state tonight before making it a no-disqualification match.

Bullet Club ("Switchblade" Jay White, Chris Bey, "The Big LG" Doc Gallows, "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) beat Violent By Design (Deaner and Joe Doering) and The Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa) in a no-disqualificaton match that sees The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) and The Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa) brawl in the back while everyone else fights in the ring. Bullet Club win after Jay White hits Deaner with Blade Runner on a chair. After the match, The Good Brothers and The Guerrillas of Destiny continue to fight backstage, and The Good Brothers lay out The Guerrillas with a metal guardrail.
