Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for March 10, 2022

Jordynne Grace beats Havok with a sleeper in the BTI Match.

"The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Alexander says it is good to be back in Impact, and is instantly greeted with chants of "New World Champ!" Alexander says he has been obsessed with getting revenge on Moose and becoming World Champion again since Bound For Glory. He says that all he wanted was his shot at Moose, and going through every obstacle into his way made him so pent up that he was sent home. During that time, his future was Impact was uncertain, and while he was home, his son wanted to know when he would face Moose. Alexander says that he will finally get his shot at Rebellion and finally get his revenge, then Honor No More show up. Eddie Edwards says that the red carpet was rolled up for Alexander's return, then mocks Alexander for wanting to give his son "a nice new memory" before worrying about telling him the truth that he was handed the keys to the castle and made the face of Impact. Alexander warns Eddie not to mention his son Lucas again or else it will be the last thing he says, then questions what happened to Eddie after what he did for the fans. Eddie says that the fans will turn on Alexander like they did on him. Alexander says Eddie is making excuses for his shortcomings and reminds him that he came up short-handed when he had his shot at Turning Point, and that he is part of Honor No More because he lost his edge and got complacent. Taven tells Alexander not to talk to Eddie like that before listing off Eddie's accolades as well as introducing himself and listing off his own and saying the difference between them is that their reigns don't end prematurely. Alexander says that when Taven is world champion, he puts companies out of business, then says that six more obstacles are nothing to him at this point. He then fends off Honor No More, but the numbers game quickly catches up. Rich Swann, Willie Mack, Heath, and Rhino rush in to make the save, then Scott D'Amore shows up and puts Eddie Edwards in a one-on-one match with Rich Swann. He also makes Willie Mack vs. Kenny King the first match of the night, then bans Team Impact and Honor No More from ringside all night long.

Willie Mack beats Kenny King.

Backstage, Scott D'Amore is met by Moose. D'Amore tells him that "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander's return was by design, then tells him not to be in a hurry to face Josh Alexander and to take his time to read the contract and return it signed next week or else he will lose the world title.

Trey Miguel guests on commentary for the next match.

"Inevitable" Ace Austin beats Crazzy Steve and John Skyler to qualify for the X Division Championship Triple Threat Match at Rebellion.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Bhupinder Gujjar. He says his two wins against John Skyler was the first step, and now he wants to rank up through Impact Wrestling. Raj Singh shows up and wants to know why Bhupinder has not returned his phone calls, then Larry D suddenly shows up and takes offense to not being on the show why Raj and Bhupinder are. When Raj tries to reason with him, Larry D punches him in the face. Bhupinder confronts Larry D, then Larry D leaves. Raj tells Bhupinder that this is why they should stick together, but Bhupinder walks away from him.

We hear from Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner). Eric Young says that power and control is something The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) used to have when they held the Impact World Tag Team Championships and why Violent By Design watched their backs. Eric Young says they put a plan in motion to watch The Good Brothers' until it came time to take the tag titles, then says that when he says they will do something, they will follow through, unlike other people, and took the tag titles. He then asks if this was all on purpose, on accident, or by design.

The IInspiration (Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee), Chelsea Green and Mickie James beat The Influence (Tenille Dashwood and Madison Rayne), Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans in an eight-Knockout tag team match.

We hear from JONAH. He says that PCO is called a monster and "what nightmares are made of," and not human. He says that he has no nightmares because he does not believe in monsters, and that monsters believe in him. He then says that when he beat PCO at Sacrifice, he proved that PCO was human.

Bullet Club ("Switchblade" Jay White, Chris Bey, "The Big LG" Doc Gallows, "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) head to the ring. Gallows and Anderson announce that Bullet Club have arrived, then Gallows says they are travelling lighter without the Impact World Tag Team Championships and that they are here to put the Impact locker room and tag division on notice. He not only wants to know how tough The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) are on April 1st, then calls out Violent By Design for the Impact tag team titles. Jay White says that not only will Gallows and Anderson handle their business, he will handle his business like he beat Alex Shelley at Sacrifice after Shelley wanted to come back and prove himself against him only to fail. Jay White then asks Shelley to come down to the ring so he can "too sweet" the leader of Bullet Club, then Shelley shows up and mentions Jay White's history with him as he paid his dues before saying he had no regrets over their match at Sacrifice. He says that Jay White did what he had to do to become the best wrester in the world and that he respects that, then says there was a part of him that was exempt from his disrespect and that as much as his sternum hurts, the disrespect hurt worse. Jay White tells Shelley that is his fault after he made it a personal issue, then says it was just business for him and that Shelley made the mistake of thinking he knew him following the history made and records broken since he last saw him. He then says he is "King Switch" and "the catalyst" and that everything in pro wrestling happens because of him, but Shelley says he is the king of a generation and that if it weren't for him, there would be no Jay White. Chris Bey takes the microphone and asks Shelley why he is even here, saying he has a lot of nerve and not a lot of intelligence to know he is standing in front of four of the most dangerous men in the business on his own. After Chris Bey asks Alex Shelley how it feels to be lonely, Shelley says that the adults were talking and that when he is in Impact, he is never alone. He is soon joined by Chris Sabin. Sabin says that with The Motor City Machine Guns back together, they are the best tag team in Impact Wrestling. As Sabin says that should prove that in the ring, he challenges Jay White and Chris Bey to a tag team match next week. Jay White says this is perfect, as he and Chris Bey will teach him the same lesson they taught Alex Shelley.

Backstage, "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander meets with Scott D'Amore concerning Eddie Edwards. Scott D'Amore tells him to focus on the World Championship, then mentions that Matt Taven also had a problem with him and puts him in a match with Taven next week. D'Amore then tells Alexander to focus on the Impact World Championship after this.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Deonna Purrazzo. Deonna says she had a momentary lapse of reason when she showed mercy to Chelsea Green and that this will not happen again, as Chelsea knew the risk she was taking against her. She says that she made her name out of breaking arms, then Gisele Shaw shows up and looks at her championships before showing interest in both of them. Lady Frost shows up and confronts Gisele Shaw, then Deonna Purrazzo proposes they have a Triple Threat Match.

Maria Kanellis-Bennett guests on commentary for the next match.

Eddie Edwards beats Rich Swann with the Die-Hard Driver.
