Generation NXT 2.0 - NXT 2.0 recap for March 1, 2022

Bron Breakker and Tommaso Ciampa beat The Dirty Dawgs (Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode). Before the match, Ziggler and Roode come out to their own individual themes ("Here To Show The World" and "Glorious Domination," respectively) before Breakker and Ciampa (who is wearing a singlet similar to Breakker's) attack them before the bell rings.

Backstage, we hear from LA Knight, who tells everyone to tell everyone that he is heading to the ring to call out Grayson Waller and ensure he pays the piper.

We hear from Gunther, who says that Solo Sikoa gets what he wanted tonight: a one-on-one match. He says that Sikoa will face a professional and make him the shame of the island when he chops his tribal tattoos and ends his undefeated streak.

LA Knight is in the ring. Knight says he and Grayson Waller have been doing this since before Halloween Havoc when he beat Waller to become the host of that show, then put each other through hell at WarGames before Waller stole his car and tried to run him down. Afterwards, he beat the hell out of Waller in January only to get a restraining order and a bodyguard in Sanga, but even that was not enough to keep him away. As he mentions what happened last week, Waller and Sanga show up on the balcony. Waller brags about winning last week, then calls LA Knight a roadblock on his path to greatness. Grayson Waller tells the fans they all suck, and tries to leave only to be reminded Knight stood tall after he left him laying in the end. Knight says Waller is all about his social media popularity, but at the end of the day, he stands tall every time. Knight dares Waller to say he can leave him laying as he challenges him to a Last Man Standing Match. Waller says he will go viral next week and become last man standing, but Knight says he will leave Waller laying because he is not good enough.

Backstage, Indi Hartwell tells Persia Pirotta that she and Dexter Lumis will be fine. Meanwhile, Persia tells Indi she is focused on the women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. As the two of them leave, Persia sends a sudden, last-second text message.

Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne) watches the next match from "The Toxic Lounge."

Wendy Choo and Dakota Kai beat Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta to advance in the women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

We see a video package for The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) vs. Imperium (Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel) for the NXT Tag Team Championships.

Lash Legend beats Amari Miller.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Solo Sikoa. Solo Sikoa says he will keep coming forward after Gunther brings everything he has, then says respect is a two-way street and that Gunther is in for a fight.

Backstage, Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs are checking out trucks when Elektra Lopez interprets it as catcalling. Lopez says she does not drive a truck like they do, and says Jensen would not know what to do with a real woman if he had one. Jensen says the joke is on her, because he has never been with a real woman. Lopez leaves, and Briggs asks Jensen if he ever listens to the words that come out of his mouth. Jensen says he does, and he sounds good saying them.

Gunther beats Solo Sikoa, bringing Solo Sikoa's undefeated streak to an end.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Dolph Ziggler, who wants an NXT Championship match against Bron Breakker. Tommaso Ciampa says any chance of a title shot ended when he beat him, but as Ziggler says he calls the shot, Breakker shows up. Ziggler says he is the roadblock between Breakker and Stand & Deliver, then says Ciampa thinks he can beat Breakker. Ciampa says he already did, then Breakker says he can kick Ciampa and Ziggler's asses. Ziggler says "Good luck with all that," and leaves.

Joe Gacy tells Harland that he will allow him to take his anger out on Draco Anthony tonight, but says Draco is not the source of his feelings and that everyone is fighting their own personal battle.

Backstage, Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta lament their loss in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and resolve to get the tag titles, then Duke Hudson shows up and Persia hugs him. After Persia and Duke leave, Indi hopes that Dexter Lumis will text her back.

Next week, Tommaso Ciampa, Bron Breakker and Dolph Ziggler will face each other for the NXT Championship in a Triple Threat Match.

Harland beats Draco Anthony. After the match, Harland gets Draco Anthony up, then hugs him.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. Trick says that every time Carmelo gets in the ring, it is the main event, and Carmelo says that while Pete Dunne is one of the best in NXT, that was before he showed up, and Dunne was never the "A-Champ" and never will be. He says that after tonight, it will not be who is next, but who is left for him.

Backstage, Ivy Nile is met by Tatum Paxley. Tatum says she understood why Ivy did what she did last week and understands failure is not an option, but Ivy says that if she wants to be part of Diamond Mine, she will have to learn the hard way.

Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne) watches the next match from "The Toxic Lounge."

Cora Jade and Raquel Gonzalez beat Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon to advance in the women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

Backstage, Sarray shows some other women her neckalce when Tiffany Stratton shows up and calls it "tacky." When Tiffany says she can have one of hers, Sarray says "no thanks." Tiffany then loses her cool and attacks Sarray.

We hear from Tony D'Angelo, who says the smell of opportunity is in the air and that it is WrestleMania season, and while everybody is jockeying for position, he has the North American Championship on his mind. He says that at Stand & Deliver, he will be a made man while his opponent will be "sleeping with the fishes."

Von Wagner beats Andre Chase after inadvertently laying out Bodhi Hayward.

We hear from Nikkita Lyons, who says that Lash Legend is threatened by her and says she should be. She tells Lash Legend to bring back "Lashing Out" so they can talk things out, and tells her to keep the same energy she had tonight.

Carmelo Hayes retains the NXT North American Championship against Pete Dunne despite Dunne snapping Trick Williams' fingers for getting on the ring apron. After the match, Carmelo Hayes says he is a goldmine and that he is taking his talents to Stand & Deliver and defending the title in a Ladder Match.

Here are the top ten moments from tonight's show!
