Before the next match, Zack Gibson says he knows that The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) got attacked last week before asking them if they trust those "beef jerky ears" of theirs, saying he and James Drake did not attack them from behind. Gibson says that if they did attack them, it would be from the front, and both teams immediately start fighting.

The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) beat Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) after James Drake's knee gives out on him and Julius Creed targets it. After the match, we see video footage of two men in black vandalizing the Diamond Mine training center. They also warn that since Diamond Mine cannot find them, they will find Diamond Mine.

Gunther beats Duke Hudson. After the match, Gunther says he is the most dominant competitor in NXT, yet he has been overlooked. As he says it is a disgrace that LA Knight can talk himself into a title match, LA Knight shows up. As LA Knight is about to speak, Gunther tells him to shut up and listen and that he represents everything wrong with wrestling, as his mouth gets him into title matches but he does not have the skill to win them. Knight tells Gunther that if he interrupts him again, he will knock his hair off his head, and says that he was going to get a match for Stand & Deliver until Walter jumped in, then goes a different route by punching Gunther. Imperium (Gunther, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel) jump LA Knight, but MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee) show up to even the odds against Imperium. Knight and MSK stand tall in the ring.

He then says there are three kinds of people in this world: those that get by, those that give their all, and those that do whatever it takes. After the match, Mandy Rose interrupts the celebration to congratulate Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray, then tell them that if they think they can beat Toxic Attraction to become tag team champions, they are sadly mistaken. Kay Lee Ray says that when she and Io Shirai entered the tournament, they had destroying Toxic Attraction in mind, then says that the best way to do that is to take the NXT Women's Championship. Io Shirai reminds Mandy Rose that she said she would fight any woman for that title, then Kay Lee Ray says they will cash their tag team title shot on Mandy Rose and make it a Fatal 4-Way match. Gigi Dolin throws her champagne into Kay Lee Ray's face, and when Toxic Attraction attack Shirai and Kay Lee Ray, Cora Jade shows up to even the odds.
