Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling recap for March 3, 2024

Flex McCalleon beats Guy Cool. Before the match, Flex McCalleon is billed as being from "straight off the World Circuit," which is a reference to Punch-Out! Near the end of the match, Guy Cool inadvertently knocks the referee out briefly with Flex's feet during a slam, and Flex takes advantage of the situation by grabbing a boxing glove on the outside and punching Guy Cool out when he approaches him.

Backstage, Peter Avalon is approached by Slice Boogie, who wishes Avalon luck on winning the World Championship and tells him that he will need it, as he and Danny Limelight have studied him for years and that Danny is his. After Slice Boogie says "May the best man win" and leaves, General Manager Jonny Loquasto approaches Avalon and asks what that was about, but Avalon says it is nothing at all and that he is ready.

Savanna Stone beats Zyra. During the match, we hear from J-Rod, who says that she is here for one thing and one thing only: the United Women's Championship.

Backstage, General Manager Jonny Loquasto is approached by Evan Daniels, who wants to know why Loquasto hates him and put him in a match with someone who looks like Mikey O'Shea. Loquasto says that there are no weight classes he has to be ready for any opponent, but Daniels says he should be in the ring with someone who is on his level. Loquasto guarantees that he will have a rematch with Mikey O'Shea.

Levi Shapiro and Rob McKnight - now known as "Wild West" - beat AJ Mana and Red Williams.

It's time for the United Wrestling Network news desk. We hear from Buck Skynyr, who tells the fans to get used to his face on their screen and that "the pain Olympics" have started right now. We hear from Mikey O'Shea, who wants to know what "Main Event" Evan Daniels' problem is, as he has awakened a sleeping dragon, and since Daniels is seemingly concerned about his hygiene, he will make sure that he will smell as fresh as possible when he puts him on the floor. We hear from "Outlandish" Zicky Dice, who says that he will not be without a championship for long, for he is a timebomb and it is only a matter of time before he blows up and is all over everyone's televisions.

Backstage, General Manager Jonny Loquasto joins Slice Boogie as he watches the next match backstage. Loquasto tells him that he will not have to wait long for his world title match and that it must happen on a big stage.

Danny Limelight retains the United World Championship against "Pretty" Peter Avalon. Both men show good sportsmanship after the match, then Slice Boogie shows up and confronts Limelight. General Manager Jonny Loquasto stops Slice Boogie before he can get in the ring.
