Backstage, General Manager Ava checks on Lyra, who is medically cleared, in the trainer's room. Lyra tells Ava to make the match between her and Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women's Championship at Stand & Deliver. Ava tells Lyra she has her match.

Josh Briggs suddenly shows up and enters the ring, and mentions that Oba Femi will brag about what he did to Brooks Jensen. He says that it pissed him off that Oba decimated Jensen with a smile on his face as he was out there to wound. Josh Briggs then dares Oba Femi to put him through the ring, and Oba Femi shows up. Oba says he relishes the ide of pushing a man to his limits and then to the edge, for when he steps into the ring, there is no place for emotion. Femi says that results are all that matters, and that his results speak volumes. He calls Briggs a man of courage , and Briggs says Femi thinks he is the baddest man around here and is about to meet someone badder. Briggs says that NXT is where he throws hands, and dares Femi to put the North American Championship on the line so they can see who falls off the edge first. After Femi tells Briggs not to say that he did not warn him, Dijak shows up. Dijak says Oba Femi may be a man of destiny, but not a man of memory, and told him that he would be waiting for him. Dijak says he is here, then Briggs tells him to get out of the ring. Oba Femi says this is not between anybody and that there is only him and everyone else. As Oba Femi leaves, Briggs shoves Femi into Dijak, starting a brawl that referees have to stop.

In a video from "NXT Anonymous," Mr. Stone takes offense to Von Wagner carrying out of the ring like he was a little baby, saying he may have lost but felt like a man. Von Wagner says he did not mean anything carrying him out of the ring and will make it right, but Mr. Stone says he does not care what Von Wagner does.

As Bron and Corbin aruge over who paid the dinner check last night, Alpha Academy (Maxxine Dupri, Otis, Akira Tozawa) shows up, wanting to know why there are not in the tag team eliminator. D'Angelo says that Stand & Deliver in two weeks will be the biggest one of all time when he gets his shot at the NXT Championship. After D'Angelo introduces Crusifino as his consigliere, Crusifino says it is an honor and that he pledges his loyalty to the family. D'Angelo then addresses Ilja Dragunov, saying that he respects him as both a man and as a champion, and in the last few weeks, he showed Dragunov that he will be the one man to "break the unbreakable." Dragunov shows up on the TitanTron, saying he came to the restaurant for a conversation and that D'Angelo left him alone on a bridge with his own thoughts. He says the NXT Championship is a power beyond D'Angelo's reach. D'Angelo says that Dragunov has no idea what he can do and has no control, and that there is so much he can do between Stand & Deliver. He has even spoken with General Manager Ava, and next week, Dragunov has a match with Stacks. He says he will see Dragunov at Stand & Deliver, then asks what shape Dragunov will be in then and says it will all be up to him. D'Angelo then warns Dragunov that if he makes one wrong move, Stand & Deliver will be a burial.

Drew Gulak beats Riley Osborne two falls to one (2-1) to retain the NXT Heritage Cup. Osborne scores the first fall with 24 (twenty-four) seconds left in Round 1 with a top rope Shooting Star Press. Gulak scores the second fall with 1:35 (one minute, thirty-five seconds) left in Round 2 with a Sunset Flip, then hits a cheap shot that starts a brouhaha during the commercial break and before the rest period can happen. Gulak scores the third and deciding fall with 46 (forty-six) seconds left in Round 4 after Thea Hail goes after Jacy Jayne in the ring, allowing Jasmyn Nyx to hold Riley by the feet as he goes for a Superplex on Gulak, allowing Gulak to land on top of Riley Osborne for the pin and the win to retain.

Jensen says that he is done, and tells Fallon not to worry about him, as she is doing well and Josh Briggs has things figured out, and he has no idea what he wants. Ava says that Jasmyn Nyx will get her first match against her, then talks with Duke Hudson and tells him he will be in action next week, and if he wins, he could be in the North American title picture at Stand & Deliver. Duke Hudson likes the idea.

After the match, Trick Williams calls out Carmelo Hayes, saying they can handle things right now. Carmelo Hayes' personal security detail shows up and surrounds the ring before Hayes himself shows up, but Hayes ends up being one of the security guards surrounding the ring.
