Raw Deal - Raw recap for September 15, 2025

Backstage, LA Knight confronts The Usos ("Main Event" Jey and Jimmy Uso). General Manager Adam Pearce jumps in and demands that Knight and Jey meet him in his office now.

John Cena heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Cena talks about coming back to Massachusetts and how he played football as an offensive lineman at nearby Springfield College, which he says prepared him for life in WWE. He says that old teammates and family members here tonight, then thanks Alicia Taylor for the ring announcement and talks about how his "never-seen seventeen" has evolved into a chance to make new moments as he has a tough mountain to climb. He talks about the "last real champion" part of his introduction and how Brock Lesnar wants to end it, saying that Lesnar is intimidating, controversial and "damn near invincible." He talks about how Lesnar makes a target out of him and makes it into a match, and says that his past matches with Lesnar are among the toughest challenges he has ever faced. He then asks how he does not say no when Lesnar makes a challenge. He says he could talk his way out of a match with Lesnar through backstage politics, especially when saying no is easy, then states that he says yes for the fans, as he is the last real champion and he has fought all his battles in the ring. Cena says that to him, being the last real champion is about leaving WWE better than he found it, being the last one to go home, and leaving it all in the ring and giving it all that he has. Cena admits that he is afraid of Lesnar and that he could fail, but he will not back down, for "we will take the fight against The Beast, for that is what we do." He calls his match with Lesnar one last match between two generational matches, then says that he founded Suplex City, taken Lesnar's best shots, and still kept going. He says his jorts are stronger than Brock's jeans and that he will beat Lesnar.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce meets with "Main Event" Jey Uso and LA Knight. Knight wants "Big" Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker in a match, and when Pearce asks who his partner is, Knight picks Jimmy Uso, much to Jey's chagrin.

Lyra Valkyria beats Roxanne Perez. After the match, Lyra is attacked from behind and laid out by Raquel Rodriguez, who was ejected from the match earlier for tripping Lyra on the outside, with Roxanne joining in. Suddenly, Bayley - who has not been seen in the ring in some time - runs into the ring and fights Roxanne and Raquel, quickly getting the better of them, with Toxanne receiving a Bayley-to-Belly. Bayley soon starts hearing the voices in her head again, but blocks them out and suddenly starts hugging Corey Graves and Joe Tessitore at the commentary table, ring announcer Alicia Taylor, referee Jessica Carr, and the front row fans, much to Lyra's confusion.

Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce finalizes Stephanie Vaquer vs. Iyo Sky for the Women's World Championship at WrestlePalooza. Both women respect each other, but are confident they will win. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) walk in, and Asuka says nobody is ready for Iyo Sky. Asuka then tells Stephanie she will face Kairi Sane tonight. Adam Pearce makes the match official.

Backstage, LA Knight meets with Jimmy Uso, saying that he has picked him as a tag team partner against Bron Breakker and "Big" Bronson Reed. Jimmy Uso is reluctant, but Knight says Jimmy proved himself to him compared to the rest of family and did not try to screw him. Jimmy says he is in a tight spot, then tells Knight he has to find somebody else.

Penta beats Kofi Kingston after superkicking Grayson Waller for trying to interfere as Xavier Woods distracts the referee.

Backstage, Jimmy Uso meets with "Main Event" Jey Uso. Jey tells Jimmy that he has to say now to Knight when he wants him to be his tag team partner, as they have "Big" Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker at WrestlePalooza. Jimmy says he told Knight no, then says he will not take order from Jey and tell shim to change his tone, as he has no ula fala around his neck.

We see footage of "Main Event' Jey Uso throwing the first pitch for the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park last night.

Backstage, Jimmy Uso tells LA Knight that he is in as his tag team partner.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins and Becky Lynch head to the ring. Rollins decides to ignore the town of Springfield, Massachusetts for their "CM Punk" chants and address the fans watching on Netflix instead. Rollins welcomes everyone to "Monday Night Rollins" before introducing Becky, and as Becky says she will say what she has to say to people's faces tonight, CM Punk and AJ Lee show up and head to the ring. CM Punk introduces himself as "AJ's husband" and says he does not need to go into his wife's accolades and accomplishments and that the chants make it clear that everyone is here for her and that they know her name. Punk tells Becky he made a career out of telling people what he thought of them to their faces, then says he is overwhelmed about what to see about Seth and Becky. Punk says they brag about being "the greatest wrestling couple" but cannot get on the same page and share the spotlight, as everybody had to listen to "two crappy songs" while he had no problem putting "Cult of Personality" on the shelf for AJ Lee. He says they share a brain cell and a wardrobe, but questions if they can show a unified front without their egos getting in the way. Rollins calls CM Punk "the most selfish person [he] has ever met in [his] entire life," then proclaims he will do something "very unselfish" and gives CM Punk credit, saying this is the best decision Punk has ever made in his entire personal life. The fans chant "No one likes you" at Rollins as he then says that as far as business is concerned, it will be the biggest mistake and regret he will have for the rest of his days. AJ says she would not be here if Becky did not use Rollins as her human shield, and Becky says nobody expected AJ to come back. She then says it is irresponsible of Punk, as he only cares about himself, the World Heavyweight Championship and AJ Lee. Becky mentions AJ Lee talking about how she felt mentally last week, but asks AJ how her neck is after reading AJ's book and brings up Punk's feud with Drew McIntyre before asking him how he will feel when he pummels AJ Lee's face in. She says AJ is a liability and not an asset before AJ admits that she did not ready Becky's book and that she does not know how her neck will hold up after Saturday, then says Becky should worry less about her neck and more about what she will do next. AJ admits she can be erratic, make irrational decisions and "shank a chick," then says while Rollins made a plan out of Becky, he cannot plan for something he cannot predict. Rollins chuckles, saying she can handle AJ, and states that while he cannot predict AJ, he can read Punk like a book, and mentions that he has a nasty habit of leaving when things let him down. He proclaims that when Becky rips her into shreds on Saturday, she had better pray to God that Punk does not leave her, too. AJ slaps Rollins, and while Rollins says he will not put his hands on a lady, he has someone who will. Becky then realizes Rollins is talking about her, and the two of them argue about whether she should slap AJ. Rollins blames this on Becky, and Becky walks out on Rollins. Punk then chases after Rollins, but while he does this, Becky gets back in the ring and hits AJ with the Manhandle Slam. When Punk checks on AJ, Becky slaps Punk and runs away before he and Rollins laugh.

Backstage, Byron Saxton interviews "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio. Dominik says that he is now Intercontinental and AAA Mega Champion, which makes him "Mega Intercontinental Champion." All of a sudden, a commotion is head, and General Manager Adam Pearce and officials have to stop Xavier Woods from hitting Penta with a metal folding chair. The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik) check on Penta.

El Grande Americano beats Dragon Lee by submission. During the match, the second El Grande Americano shows up and distracts the referee. "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles shows up and takes him down, but is suddenly attacked by a third El Grande Americano. The third luchador distracts the referee while the second luchador shoves Dragon Lee off the top rope, allowing El Grande Americano to win by submission.

Backstage, Lyra Valkyrie overheads Bayley arguing with her two voices when the door slams in her face. Lyra walks in on a suddenly calm Bayley and thanks her for her help, especially after what happened between them, but Bayley goes off on Lyra and leaves.

Backstage, Stephanie Vaquer is met by Rhea Ripley, who says that regardless of who wins the Women's World Championship between her and Iyo Sky, she is coming for her.

Stephanie Vaquer beats Kairi Sane. After the match, Asuka is about to get into the ring with Stephanie Vaquer, but Iyo Sky rushes out and stands between them. Iyo has to reason with Asuka, and Asuka reluctantly leaves the ring before Iyo and Vaquer have a staredown and shake hands in the ring.

We hear from Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. Bronson gives The Usos ("Main Event" Jey and Jimmy Uso) credit for being the best tag team in the business until now, and that this will soon come to an end. Breakker says Seth "Freakin'" Rollins has a vision, and it is The Usos looking up at the lights. Bronson says tonight is a preview of WrestlePalooza and that he could let LA Knight and Jimmy Uso take each other out, but they will learn what happens when the dog is let off the leash. Breakker then says that The Usos will come to an end and that Jimmy will have to ask himself where he goes from here, as Rollins has a vision and it does not change for anyone.

Backstage, Iyo Sky and Asuka argue again, with Kairi Sane tearfully wanting Asuka to stop. Iyo says she must win on her own like Asuka did. Asuka finally listens to her, but angrily leaves while Kairi continues to sob as she catches up with her.

Backstage, The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez) celebrate "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio becoming a double champion. Finn Balor says they should pump the brakes on the victory lap due to Roxanne and Raquel having a rough night as well as El Grande Americano's involvement in Dominik's matches. Dominik says El Grande Americano wants his respect, but Finn Balor tells Dominik not to come looking for him and JD McDonagh when he plays the "King of the Luchadors" card again before he and JD leave. All of a sudden, Rusev shows up and introduces himself to Dominik, stating he will become the next Intercontinental Champion.

The Vision (Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed) beat Jimmy Uso and LA Knight. After the match, Bronson and Breakker gang up on Jimmy Uso, and Breakker hits Jimmy with a high-speed Spear. Bronson then goes for a Tsunami, but "Main Event" Jey Uso shows up with a metal folding chair. Breakker gets smacked with the chair, but Bronson smacks it away, and Jey Uso has to put up a bit of a fight before hitting Bronson with the metal folding chair so hard that the impact echoes around the arena. Jey checks on Jimmy, but Knight grabs the metal folding chair. Jey sees it coming and stares Knight down, and Knight throws the chair to the side before shaking hands with Jey. As soon as Jey turns around, however, Knight hits him with the BFT and leaves the ring to end the show.

Note: Today's episode is the eighth episode of Championship Wrestling ever, from November 5, 2010.

We hear from "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce, who says that the NWA World Heavyweight Championship looks as pretty as it can on the only shoulder heavy enough to carry it. He says that he has been under fire from all sides as Scorpio Sky, Joey Ryan and Colt Cabana are staking their claim on his title. and says that to be the best, one must be the worst and look in the mirror and know you will sink to any depth. He says that he is the man who can do that with eyes cold as ice with no remorse, and he has knocked out all of those people. He says that he apologizes to nobody, because the means are justified by "this end:" The NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

The RockNES Monsters (Johnny Goodtime and Johnny Yuma) retain the NWA Heritage Tag Team Championships against Anchors Away (David E. Jones and Ryan Stone).

Backstage, Jeff Resnick interviews Joey Ryan. Joey Ryan says he pinned "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce and became #1 contender for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship and that nobody can take that away from him, not even Scorpio Sky. He says that he has nothing but respect for Scorpio Sky and has no trash to talk about him , then says he has a prop wrestling promo app on his iPhone, and reads from it that that Scorpio Sky will be in the ring with him and that only one man's arm will be raised in victory, and that it is him.

We hear from "Pretty" Peter Avalon in West Hollywood, California and gets opinions on NWA Championship Wrestling from a couple of bunny girls, some guy who is dressed like MC Hammer, and people dressed like Cheech and Chong, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and a Facebook page.

Backstage, Jeff Resnick interviews Scorpio Sky. Scorpio says that just two weeks ago, he and Joey Ryan were partners and brothers, but tonight is a completely different story, as they both have a similar goal. He says that they will be coming into the match as friends and neighbors but will be taking each others' heads off, but he has trained too hard and is too ready to go straight to the top, as the stars are not high enough.

Joey Ryan beats Scorpio Sky to become #1 contender for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship after countering a kick with a jackknife pin. After the match, both men shake hands, and as Scorpio Sky raises Joey Ryan's hand, both men are attacked by "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce. As Pearce is about to hit Joey Ryan with a piledriver on the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, Colt Cabana runs in and beats up Adam Pearce, putting Pearce in the Billy Goat's Curse and makes him tap even after Pearce rakes him in the eyes until multiple referees restore order. Pearce retreats, and Colt Cabana asks him how it feels to tap out before telling him that he will take his title and buy everyone a drink.

He then proposes that one of them faces one of The Acclaimed to prove that The Dark Order is worth the time. When McAfee asks Theory if he knows what that means, The Rock suddenly shows up and heads to the ring. Theory asks The Rock if he knows whose ring he is in, then says it has been a long time before Rock tells Theory "Shut your bitch ass up." He tells Theory he has no idea how all of this works, hands his microphone to Pat McAfee, takes off his jacket, throws it into the front row, takes his microphone back, then proclaims that he has come back to Denver, Colorado. Theory says that everyone gets to see them both in the ring one last time, but instead of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, it is a "real ass kicker" who will "become the entire Mount Rushmore." After interrupting The Rock by telling him it does not matter what he says, The Rock tells him it does matter and that it also matters what the fans think, and that he and Stone Cold would agree that he should kick Theory's ass. This leads to The Rock calling Theory as asshole before getting one side of the arena to call him an asshole and then getting the other side to do it, which enrages Theory. The Rock then says he may not know who Theory is, but he and the fans know what he is, and he is about to kick his ass in three seconds. The Latino World Order (Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz del Toro, Zelina Vega) are in the ring. Rey talks about how his career was a crossroad and how he was in one of the hardest periods of his life until The Latino World Order reminded him of who he was and what true family represents. Rey says that since then, he is now United States Champion and he has a family who is more united and stronger than ever. Santos Escobar says that their family are champions, and when Theory stopped him from taking his title, Rey took his place and took Theory out. He says that Rey took Theory out like the legend that he is, and mentions that his dream is to take Rey on in a match with a title on the line, and asks Rey if he will defend the United States Championship. Rey is taken aback, but Escobar says he has nothing but love and respect for him. Rey accepts, then Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) show up. Lashley says that they have tag teams falling apart and having "awkward lovefests," then says that they will be taking over and it will be even easier than he ever imagined. He then says Cena could not help himself and had to make it about himself one more time at Payback. He then says that Cena is lying to the people and that he does not want to be an in-ring competitor, and while there is no doubt Cena is the greatest of all time, he is not the greatest right now and has not been the same since Austin Theory beat him at WrestleMania. Cena takes off his hat and T-shirt, and before he can speak, Jimmy Uso suddenly shows up. Jimmy and Cena have a staredown, and takes Cena's microphone before Cena can say anything, saying Grayson has a point and that nobody wants to see Cena, and that everybody came to see him. He warns Cena not to embarrass him like he did two weeks ago, then tells him to get out of his ring. Suddenly, Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman show up. Cena and Solo have a staredown, and Jimmy asks Cena what he is going to do when Solo grabs Jimmy by the throat. He goes for the Samoan Spike on Jimmy at first, but turns around and superkicks Cena instead. As Jimmy and Solo gang up on Cena, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles runs into the ring and brawls with Jimmy. Cena and Styles soon finish the job, but Solo saves Jimmy from an Attitude Adjustment.

Decay (Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus) beat Steve Maclin and Moose after Moose heckles a fan. After the match, Sami Callihan shows up, and says that as much as he would like to see them beat each other up, he knows that they are still working together in some capacity and shows a video where Moose is talking to his lawyer. In the footage, Moose tells his lawyer that he plans on screwing Maclin over in the end, then Sami says that Moose will throw Maclin under the bus. Maclin says that is the past and that there is a new deal, and nothing will stop them from tearing him apart. Tasha Steelz guests on commentary for the next match.

Killer Kelly beats Alisha Edwards with the Killer Clutch. After the match, Killer Kelly stares down Tasha Steelz, and when Tasha sics Savannah evans at her to hit her with a steel chair, Kelly stomps the chair. When Tasha grabs the chair, Kelly drags the chair - and Tasha - into the ring for another staredown. Tasha Steelz slowly crawls out of the ring.

We see a vignette where somebody has been attacked with a chair. At the hospital, the man struggles to say the name of the person who threw the chair, then Joe Hendry shows up, his theme plays, and everyone claps as the man on the bed dies happily. Joe Hendry is returning to Impact Wrestling.

Honor No More (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) retain the Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Championships against "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander and Rich Swann. During the match, Eddie Edwards runs into the ring, but Josh Alexander is able to keep Matt Taven from winning. Maria Kanellis-Bennett distracts the referee as Josh Alexander goes for an ankle lock on Matt Taven, but Taven rolls through and Eddie Edwards clocks Alexander in the head with a Kendo stick. Mike Bennett then tries to distract the referee, then stops when Heath gets in the ring to hit Taven with the wake-up call, which the referee is able to turn around and see, leading to the disqualification win for Taven and Bennett.

Backstage, Jordynne Grace finds a message from Masha Slamovich saying "Masha's Gonna Kill You" when Johnny Swinger and Zicky Dice show up with a very large pizza and a black envelope meant for Jordynne. Inside is a black-and-white photo of Maxx The Impaler, Jordynne's opponent in her "Pick Your Poison" match at Victory Road. When Zicky and Swinger both say that Masha is going to kill Jordynne, Jordynne takes a slice of their pizza and slaps Zicky in the face with it.

Backstage, Heath apologizes to Josh Alexander and Rich Swann. Scott D'Amore shows up and says that Honor No More is getting old, and praises Heath for the Wake Up Call on Matt Taven and praises Alexander and Swann for being on the same page. Mickie James beats Hyan. After the match, "The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw shows up and upstages Mickie James, then asks if it has come down to Mickie James begging for matches against "nobodies" just to delay the inevitable and hold on to her spotlight a little bit longer. Gisele tells Mickie that her time is up, and if she wants to know if she can still hang, then they can have a match at Victory Road. Mickie James accepts, and Gisele tells Mickie that her time in the spotlight is over because the spotlight has always been hers.

We see Vincent talking to PCO. He takes the black bag off of PCO's head and says he does not like seeing PCO get hurt after asking him if he likes getting hurt, then tells him to imagine a sword swallower putting a sword in his mouth, pulling out his heart and dying. He asks PCO who is there to give a sword swallower a hand on the stage, then says the two of them are Honor No More before putting the bag back on his head.

After the match, Adam Cole says that hope is a dangerous thing and that the locker room hopes they can keep up with The Elite, then says that will not happen. Cole says he has been here for a short time, and yet Christian Cage, Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy have already gotten under his skin. He says that if they are so tough, then next week on Rampage, they can face him and The Young Bucks in a six-man tag match. After Guevara asks if this is a challenge, Fuego del Sol puts his car on the line against Miro in a TNT Championship match next week.

MJF and Wardlow head to the ring. MJF says the fans for sympathetic for Brian Pillman Jr. when they should be sympathetic for him for being in New Jersey, and says that Bruce Springsteen, Mia Hamm and the New Jersey Devils "suck as hard as the Jersey Shore skanks." He then says that he was smartened up to the fact that his words last week may have offended people, then says he does not care as the fans tell him to "shut the fuck up." MJF then says he is "the salt of the earth" and a religious man, then has a word with the late Brian Pillman before looking up and pretending to talk to Pillman before looking down and telling him they need to talk. He then says that though Pillman is a legend, Pillman's widow "Methanie" created a sorry excuse of a second-generation wrestler in Brian Jr., and tells Pillman to tell his son that he will massacre Pillman Jr. MJF says the fans can chant as much and as long as they want, but in the end, it will be all too obvious that he is better than Pillman and he knows it. Before he can finish, Brian Pillman Jr.'s entrance theme hits and MJF sends Wardlow to cut him off at the pass. Pillman Jr. shows up from behind the barricade and has a chair, but before he can hit MJF, Wardlow stops him. Pillman sends Wardlow tumbling over the rope, and Wardlow retreats before Pillman Jr. can hit him with the chair.

In footage from earlier today, Jim Ross interviews Brian Pillman Jr. Pillman says it is important for him to fulfill his father's legacy and make him proud, and last week, he felt he let his father down. He then says that while MJF woke up with a silver spoon, he fought for his life, and that the two of them are not the same and that MJF has never been in the ring with a man like him who had a feral upbringing and a lot of adversity. He warns MJF that next week, he will be stepping into the ring not with a man, but with a Pillman.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy, Marko Stunt, Luchasaurus) and Christian Cage. Jungle Boy says he has better friend and hair than Adam Cole, then Christian says that while Adam Cole has pretty good friends, they dragged him out of developmental. "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes comes down to the ring from the stands, and Rosario Dawson stalls Malakai Black's escape by getting on top of him before Cody is able to catch up to Black and fight him in the crowd.

In the ring, we hear from Dan Lambert, who says that the merchandise table used to be the way of knowing who was in demand. As Lambert rambles on, Chris Jericho and Jake Hager show up. Lambert demands that Jericho's theme be turned off, as the fans don't know the words and are looking it up through their cellphones. Unfortunately for Lambert, the fans know the lyrics to "Judas" from Fozzy quite clearly. Jericho says they could all sing along to Lambert's theme, but nobody knows the words to "I'm A Fat-Faced Dipshit, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah." Lambert calls Jericho "the master manipulator" and is able to manipulate people into spending their allowance from their moms on his music and merchandise, then Jericho calls Lambert an old man yelling at the AEW could before asking who in the ring is on top. Jericho then says Lambert has nothing to say because his power is in his fist and he relies on fearmongering and misinformation, then says everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face, which Jericho says he and Hager will do. Lambert tells Jericho that if he really wants a fight between The Men of the Year (Scorpio Sky and "All Ego" Ethan Page) and "The Inner Circlejerk," it will be in a real city - New York City - and not "the shithole that is New Jersey." Jericho accepts the challenge, and says there will be no escape from New York for The Men of the Year.

We hear from The Gunn Club (Billy, Austin and Colten Gunn). Billy Gunn says there is nobody disrespected more in AEW than them despite their undefeated record, and that respect will be given one way or another. He says that if anyone has a problem with it, all they have to do is say when.

Jade Cargill beats "Legit" Leyla Hirsch.

We hear from Andrade el Idolo, who says that anyone who lies to him does not respect him, and that he had orders not to interrupt his match. He grabs Jose and demands answers, and tells him that he is the boss, not Chavo Guerrero, and that he can beat anyone when he wants. It is then announced that Andrade has told Chavo Guerrero that his services are no longer required.

Taz confronts CM Punk at the announce table for "taking [his] job," and CM Punk stands up and tells him to take the seat while Hook watches. Taz and Hook step back, and Hook and Punk have a staredown before Punk is blindsided by Powerhouse Hobbs. Punk fights back, but Hook puts him in a Dragon Sleeper while Hobbs nails Puink with a cheap shot. Hook then directs traffic, telling the commentary team to clear out before clearing the table. Powerhouse Hobbs then slams CM Punk through the announce table.

Darby Allin beats Shawn Spears. After the match, FTR get in the ring, and so doe Sting. Both Sting and Darby brawl with FTR, and Tully Blanchard gets in the ring with a chair and hits Sting only for Sting to confront him. FTR gangs up on Sting, and while Darby Allin makes the save, he fares no better. FTR then hit Sting with a spike piledriver. Tully Blanchard then takes a damp cloth to Sting and tries to wipe the facepaint off Sting's face.

We hear from Bryan Danielson, who says The Elite is insecure. He then says that he is going after Kenny Omega after seeing how great he is, and that he is excited to be in the ring again and be the best Bryan Danielson he can be. He says that he wants Omega as his first match, and after seeing everyone wanting to get into the ring, he is here and he is game.

Tony Schiavone interviews Bryan Danielson in the ring. Before Danielson can say much of anything, Don Callis and Kenny Omega show up. Callis says he has heard enough of Danielson and calls him "a sanctimonious son-of-a-bitch." Callis mocks Danielson making the decision to sign to AEW and thinking it would be the best decision for business, and says that Danielson is not just a "carny piece of shit," but a mark like the rest of the fans. He then says that he and Omega make the title matches, not Danielson, and Danielson tells Callis to shut up. He says he is here to talk to Omega, and says that while it will eventually be about the title, right now it is about who is better. Danielson proposes a match between himself and Omega, but when Callis objects, Danielson yells "Shut up, you piece of shit!" before saying he came here to talk to Omega again. He also says that he came to fight "The Best Bout Machine" and "The God of Pro Wrestling" but only saw a guy who hangs out with a bunch of goofy stooges whom he lets talk for him. Danielson then says he has heard rumors that Omega lost a step or his confidence, then says Omega really lost his balls before proposing the match again. Omega tells Danielson that if he wants "The Best Bout Machine" and "The God of Pro Wrestling," then his answer is yes. Omega and Danielson then have a staredown.

We hear from Miro, who says that every man he has redeemed has moved on to a better career and have not stuck around, and questions why Fuego del Sol has called him out. He then says he will bash Fuego del Sol's head and car, and that Fuego del Sol's family will always be thankful for him.

We hear from Matt Hardy, who says that Orange Cassidy broke his nose and owes him a debt after mocking the business, then says he will start with Cassidy's hair and make him "The Orange Egghead."

Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston beat 2point0 (Jeff Parker and Matt Lee). After the match, Minoru Suzuki shows up and heads to the ring, and Lance Archer shows up at ringside and pulls Kingston out of the ring while Suzuki and Moxley brawl. He then says there is a new one to add to the list, and that his favorite match is his 30-minute Iron Man Match against Johnathan Gresham from last week. Lethal says the match reminds him of what ROH was built on and why he got interested in wrestling, as all you need is two great wrestler wanting to prove who the best is. At the end of the match, Gresham earned his respect as well as a good friend, and tells him he is there for him before saying he wants more matches for the ROH World Championship like that one. He then issues "a Lethal challenge" not only to the locker room, but to any locker room and any wrestler anywhere who feels they have mastered their craft, simply saying "Come and get it." Suddenly, "The Aerial Assassin" Will Ospreay is seen on the video screen, having faced Lethal in his last match in ROH, wanting to go through Lethal to wear ROH on his back. He challenges Lethal for the ROH World Championship at Death Before Dishonor. Lethal accepts the challenge.

We hear from SoCal Uncensored ("Almighty" Christopher Daniels, "The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky). Scorpio Sky says it all started with The Addiction (Daniels and Kazarian) versus The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe), but Punishment Martinez had to inject himself into this. For this, he is glad to join in, as nobody plays it better than SCU.

We hear from The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe), who plan to show SoCal Uncensored ("Almighty" Christopher Daniels, "The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky) how they get it done. Punishment Martinez tells SCU to prepare to be punished.

We hear from Bullet Club. "The Villain" Marty Scurll says that when you talk about the most popular groups in Japan, they are #1, and at the very bottom of the pile in New Japan is CHAOS. "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes says they can come to Las Vegas and enjoy the buffet, but CHAOS is no match for Bullet Club.

Ian Ricobonni interviews Sumie Sakai in the ring. After Sumie Sakai's recent defenses of the title all over the world, the ROH Women of Honor Championship is officially known as the ROH Women of Honor World Championship. Sumie says she been through a lot in America and that this is her home, and nobody can know how happy she is to be where she is today. She says she will do her best as champion, but there is one more person she wants to face: Tennille Dashwood. Tennille shows up, and says that sounds like a challenge to her and that she has the perfect place for it: Death Before Dishonor. Tennille says she respects Sumie Sakai and what she has done for the ROH women's division, but that does not mean she will take the title from around her waist. Both women shake hands, and the match is official.

Gresham then confronts Bully Ray about interrupting his interview, and Bully Ray decides to be the interview him now. Bully Ray claims that he single-handedly sold out Madison Square Garden for the company and that everyone is showing up for a guy like him and not a guy like Gresham. Bully Ray then brings up the Piper's Pit interview with Frankie Williams, comparing Gresham to Williams in the process, saying that if the people really loved him, they would have been giving him a standing ovation the second he walked in and says he doesn't see the fans doing that for him now. The fans respond by giving Gresham a standing ovation to spite Bully Ray, and dares Gresham to take the microphone out of his hand if he wants it that badly. Gresham simply takes it, and says he knows Bully Ray is looking for a fight, because he knows that he cannot beat Bully Ray in a fight. However, he challenges Bully Ray to a wrestling match, saying that he knows he could win it and that he has seen D-Von carry Bully Ray through multiple matches for the last twenty years on national television. This leads to a "D-Von" chant from the crowd before Gresham says that he stands by his challenge, and if Bully Ray beats him, he will shake his hand like a honorable man in the center of the ring. However, if he beats Bully Ray, then Bully Ray will have to shake his hand like a man. Bully Ray demands a referee come to the ring right now, and the match becomes official. As soon as the match starts, however, Bully Ray kicks Gresham in the groin and pushes referee Todd Sinclair, tells Gresham that he is the better wrestler, then smacks Gresham with his chain. Flip Gordon runs in, but Bully Ray takes him out, and Jay Lethal then runs in the ring and brawls with Bully Ray. Suddenly, "The Last Real Man" Silas Young shows up and hits Misery on Jay Lethal, leading to the crowd chanting "Fuck you, Silas!," which is noticeably censored on the broadcast. Bully tries to give Silas a hug, but Silas pushes Bully Ray and walks off.

Backstage, Jay Lethal meets with Johnathan Gresham, and says that he is sick and tired of Bully Ray sticking his nose in other people's business, and if "The Last Real Man" Silas Young wants to bring up past grievances, then they can finish this once and for all. Gresham says he did not come to ROH for this, and Lethal challenges Silas and Bully Ray to a tag team match against him and Gresham for next week.

We hear from Chris Sabin, who says that Punishment Martinez attacked Alex Shelley and re-injured his jaw to play mind games with him, but he knows that Punishment Martinez is worried and insecure as he has ne never been in the ring with anyone like him. At Death Before Dishonor, all of his money is on him and he is walking out as ROH World Television Champion.

SoCal Uncensored ("Almighty" Christopher Daniels, "The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian, Scorpio Sky) beat The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) and Punishment Martinez. During the match, Jay Briscoe brings a steel chair into the match, but Kazarian ducks and Jay hits referee Paul Turner instead. This leads to Kazarian and Scorpio Sky having the chair thrown at their heads, and Chris Sabin runs from the commentary table to the ring to attack Martinez by using his shoes as weapons before chasing him to the back. Kazarian and Daniels then hit Mark Brisco with a double-team moonsault into a Meltzer Driver to get the win after senior referee Todd Sinclair runs in to make the count.

Moose says it has been a long time since he has been in Binghamton, New York, and says that it is amazing how things still stay the same as "Binghamton sucks." Tonight, he wrestles KM, and KM will step in the ring with a legend and find out why he is called "Mr. Impact Wrestling."

Backstage, "The Supercop" Dick Justice says that when Impact Wrestling called him, they said they needed a stand-by wrestler. In Binghampton, however, he is no stand-by wrestler or Richard Justice; he is "The Supercop" Dick Justice. He says he had Fallah Bahh, but Fallah Bahh has to be one of the smartest men he has met in his life. Bahh may have beaten this time, but next time, justice will be served.

Slyck Wagner Brown beats Axel Lennox.

We see footage from earlier today where Eddie Edwards looks for his wife Alisha Edwards. He finds her in the Knockouts' dressing room, and tells him to get out. Also, his Kendo stick is named "Kenny."

Alisha Edwards beats Rebel. Both women show respect after the match.

Backstage, Eli Drake congratulates Alisha Edwards on her victory, but says he is an equal opportunity dummy namer. Suddenly, he finds out that Jimmy Jacobs is in the room. Jimmy says that while this is Eli Drake's show, he finds it odd that he is not even on the card. Eli tells Jimmy that he has something for him, and that he is bringing back Facts of Life with Jimmy Jacobs as a guest. Jimmy Jacobs accepts the invitation.

Backstage, Alisha Edwards says she was victorious tonight against Rebel and that this proves she can hang with the best in the Knockouts Division. She says that while Rebel was able to bring it, so was she, and she proved that anything is possible.

Team Tremendous (Dan Barry and Bill Carr) beat The Heavenly Bodies (Desirable Dustin and Gigolo Justin).

In footage from earlier today, Homicide tells The Latin-American Xchange (Konnan, Santana, Ortiz) that he is here, and says that they have nothing compared to The OG'z (King, Homicide, Hernandez). He says that if Konnan thinks he can play him, he's got another thing coming, and tonight, nothing is going to stop him because this is his world.

Eli Drake shows up. He says he came to Binghamton, New York with the mobile, play-at-home version of the Eli Drake Dummy Button, and with that, he is doing a live version of Facts of Life. After testing to see if the mobile version of the dummy button works, he introduces Jimmy Jacobs to the show. Jimmy Jacobs shows up, and Eli Drake wants to know what it is that made Jimmy want to be part of the show so badly. Jimmy says he always gets what he wants, but tonight, it is about what Eli Drake needs. He eels that Eli Drake has no idea what he is in for in his match against Eddie Edwards tonight. Eli Drake says that Eddie Edwards doesn't have what it takes, but Jimmy Jacobs says that Eli Drake should be more careful as Eddie will be swinging his kendo stick. Jimmy then offers his help, but Eli Drake doesn't take this too seriously and Jimmy says the only person who will be laughing at the end of the night will be Eddie Edwards. Eli Drake says that Eddie Edwards is a victim of his own ambition and has a first-classic ticket to the Gravy Ticket, and that he does not need his help. Jimmy responds by saying that Eli Drake is a dummy along with the fans in attendance, and says that somebody in the back will be needing his help. He calls out Santana, saying that Santana might be needing his help, and Santana shows up. Jimmy says he heard a rumor that Ortiz got jumped by The OG'z (Homicide and Hernandez), leaving Santana alone tonight. Jimmy says Santana needs all the help he can get tonight, and offers Santana his help. Santana shakes Jimmy's hand, then kicks in the face. He then demands that the next match begin.

Santana beats Homicide in a Street Fight.

We hear from Eli Drake, who says that he comes from a lineage of strong men before saying he has three favorite moments from tonight's show: the Eli Drake tailgater interview, the live Facts of Life show (in which he says that Jimmy Jacobs will not be at Night of the Dummies 2 next year) and him beating Eddie Edwards later tonight.

Backstage, Santana says that if The OG'z (King, Homicide, Hernandez) thought it was a good idea to play games with The Latin-American Xchange (Konnan, Santana, Ortiz), they have anohter thing coming, as LAX have won the battle and are about to win the war.

Sean Carr beats Brute Vanslyke. Both men stare down after the match.

Backstage, Fallah Bahh and KM celebrate the former's win, then KM sayas that he will beat Moose tonight so they cna be even. Suddenly, Fallah Bahh wants to know why KM isn't wearing the same thing that he is, saying it is the reason why they are winning as a team. KM says that if he loses tonight, he will dress like Fallah Bahh for the rest of his career. The two men then shake on it.

Before the next match, Moose talks about Syracuse University, which is down the road from the arena, then says he doesn't need the fans to become a legend because Binghamton, New York sucks. Tonight, he wrestle KM, and KM gets to wrestle a legend. He then calls out KM so he can beat him and get out of "this god-forsaken town."

Moose beats KM.

Backstage, KM wonders what he did wrong in his match with Moose, whom he says he had beat. Fallah Bahh, who is at catering, reminds KM of the bet. KM says he has kidding, but realizes he has to take it seriously now.

Before the next match, Eli Drake wants the kendo stick out of Eddie Edwards' hands. Eddie Edwards drops the kendo stick so it lands outside of the ring. When the match starts, Eddie Edwards slaps Eli Drake on the ass, and Eli Drake gets on the microphone again to announce that there will be no ass slapping. He also gets on the microphone a third time after an arm drag from Eddie Edwards to ban arm drags in the match, and a fourth time to ban Eddie Edwards from making snow angels in the ring following a belly-to-belly suplex. Later still, Eli Drake has to ban chops, then tries to go even further only to be booted off the apron by Eddie Edwards, who then goes for a tope suicida only to get a microphone shot to the head.

Eddie Edwards beats Eli Drake. During the match, Eddie Edwards takes a fan's prosthetic leg to use it as a weapon, but Eli Drake also makes that illegal. Eddie Edwards hits a cameraman with it, then hits Eli Drake with the prosthetic leg as the referee checks on the cameraman. Shortly after that, Eli Drake knocks the referee into the ropes and tries to use a steel chair as a weapon, but the referee tries to stop him and gets pushed away as a result. Eddie Edwards hits Eli Drake with the kendo stick as the referee is briefly stunned, then gets the pinfall and makes a snow angel in the ring.

Impact Wrestling One Night Only: GFW Amped Anthology, Part 2 - The Results

Here's another review by Larry Csonka.

Note: These shows are over two years old at the time of premiere. They were meant for a weekly television program that was never picked up. Commentary in this program has been changed to reflect current events.

EPISODE FIVE

He hypes Shelton Benjamin, Killer Elite Squad (Davey Boy Smith Jr. & Lance Archer) and Bullet Club (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson). Suddenly, Bobby Roode shows up. (It is here that new commentary is added, noting that Roode has been a champion everywhere, including NXT, and calling him the glorious one. This strikes a nerve with fans when the shows are finally played here, and fans accuse GFW/Impact Wrestling of making it look like Roode is coming back to the company when he is not.) Roode says Jarrett makes him sick for "walking away from a real company" in TNA. He also says no one cares about Bullet Club because he is the only star here. He goes on to say that used to play by Jarrett’s rules and beat his "boy" last time he was here. Jarrett books him in the GFW Global Championship Tournament against Eric Young.

We see a video package for Brian Myers. Chris Mordetsky says he’s the prime time player while Myers is more of a role player.

Joey Ryan's appearance on GLOW on Netflix and Kenny King's appearance on The Bachelor are mentioned despite the entire program being taped two years ago.)

We see a video package for Shelton Benjamin.

We see an "in memoriam" segment for "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, who had recently passed away at the time of the tapings. Jeff Jarrett and Brett Greenwald, writer and star of The Masked Saint, the last film Piper acted in before his death, make their way to the ring. Jarrett talks about looking up to Piper while growing up, while Greenwald talks about a time on the set of The Masked Saint where Piper repeatedly yelled the F-word (which is interesting considering it is a Christian film). He says that Jeff Jarrett continues to play games with him. He says that he is s here to be a champion, and that he has played Jarrett's game by submitting Kevin Kross. Now, he has to face Eric Young. He talks about how they broke into the business together only for Eric Young to now be insane. He refuses to go through with the match, saying Young belongs in an asylum. Eric Young shows up, and Roode retreats as Young promises to be Roode's worst nightmare and a world-class maniac. Roode gets back in the ring, and both men brawl. Officials have to separate both men as Young fights back.

PJ Black and The Akbars (Ali and Omar Akbar) beat Sonjay Dutt and Los Luchas (Zokre and Phoenix Star), then continue to attack them after the match.

Chael Sonnen is in the ring. He brings out Chris Mordetsky, who he calls "the future of GFW." Sonnen puts him on a pedestal as they they talk about Sonnen beating down "a crappy British fighter" named Michael Bisping, and how Mordetsky will beat down one as well in Nick Aldis. Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for September 15, 2016

Matt Hardy looks back on Delete or Decay, then walks Brother Nero to the "Lake of Reincarnation." He places Brother Nero in the lake, and after we temporarily get back "Immortal Era" Jeff Hardy, Matt puts him back in the lake and pulls out a fully healed Brother Nero.

Lashley shows to start the show with an interview in the ring with Jeremy Borash. Lashley says he warned everyone that 2016 would be the year he took over the wrestling industry. Lashley talks about how he crushed EC3 and how there is no match for Bound For Glory, and if there was a match, his opponent would feel the same fate as EC3. He also entertains the thought of Jeremy Borash as his opponent, but calls JB "a joke." All of a sudden, Grado appears. Lashley can't tell if Grado or JB is the bigger joke, but Grado says JB is a bigger joke than he'll ever be, and he says that he is no joke and that Lashley can be beaten. He calls Lashley a coward, but Lashley says he can crush anybody on the roster and proves that by decimating Grado. Lashley then says nobody on the TNA roster can beat him. Suddenly, Moose shows up and stares Lashley down before hitting him with a few clotheslines. Lashley leaves the ring, and Moose says that he's going to whoop his ass as the people want to see them fight, and if he has to drag Lashley to the ring to get a fight, he'll do it, too.

Aron Rex says he wasn't sure if he'd be in a wrestling ring two months ago, but now he's ready to adapt to anything in his way. He tells Drew Galloway that he's been handed opportunity after opportunity and complains about it, while he has had to adapt and create opportunities for himself. He tells Galloway that he will learn the difference between them, and soon.

Lashley turns down Moose's challenge, telling him he doesn't just show up and demand opportunities and that he should work for them, and that fighting him is bad for his health.

Aron Rex beats Trevor Lee by pinfall to continue to the next round of the Impact Grand Championship Tournament.

Maria says that tonight she finds out who she faces at Bound For Glory, but she will beat that opponent as she is always successful and always gets what she wants.

Matt Hardy finds Vanguard-1 stuck in a tree, and pleas to "the seven deities" to bring Vanguard-1 back. After we see some memories involving Senor Benjamin, Vanguard-1 is back.

Maria Kanellis-Bennett and Allie are in the ring. She calls Allie "stupid and common, just like all of you," and says she plans to ruin Bound For Glory in revenge for having her Knockouts Diision leadership position ruined by inducting Gail Kim into the Hall of Fame tonight. Gail Kim shows up, and we see a video package of Maria attacking Gail that she calls "highlights." Maria continues to mock Gail and gives her a picture of Maria with the Knockouts Title. Allie calls Gail "the best female wrestler ever" and hands Gail a gift, but Maria destroys it. Gail Kim tells Maria that she has lost her mind, and Maria says she can't wait until she no longer has to see Gail Kim's face again. Dixie Carter shows up and tells Maria that she has no power at this time and that Gail Kim will be inducted at Bound For Glory, then announces that there is a Knockouts gauntlet match tonight for a shot at the Knockouts Championship, and Gail Kim is in the match. Gail tells Maria that she will win the gauntlet match and whip Maria's ass at Bound For Glory.

Braxton Sutter beats Rockstar Spud in an Exposed Turnbuckle Empty Arena Match...and busts his mouth open.

Vanguard-1 finds Senor Benjamin tied up in a shack. Matt Hardy frees him, then tells him to prepare the Hardy estate for war at Bound For Glory.

Moose laughs at Lashley rejecting his challenging, saying that they were destined to fight. He asks Lashley if he will accept his challenge or run like a little bitch.

Brother Nero, Matt Hardy and Reby Sky are in the ring. Matt Hardy talks about "Delete or Decay," and says that Decay (Rosemary, Abyss, Crazzy Steve) committed blasphemy against Senor Benjamin and attempted to kidnap his son, and for that they must be sentenced to the darkness of deletion. He plans to take the TNA World Tag Team Championships from them and delete them. Decay's music play, but they are nowhere to be seen. Rosemary is near the hard cam and says that Maxel deserves a family that is not broken. Abyss is on the ramp and says that the tag titles belong to Decay. Crazzy Steve is in the crowd, and he offers The Broken Hardys their own destruction. Matt says that death is only the beginning, as their vessels may perish but their souls will live forever. He tells Decay to bring it on, as it will only make them stronger. Brother Nero says they may be broken, but they have survived, and Decay will be rendered obsolete. Matt tthen challenges Decay to "The Great War." Decay accept the challenge, and Rosemary says that they will become Maxel's family. After Rosemary makes fun of the Hardy family and calls Reby Sky an unfit mother, the Hardy family attack Decay and quickly come out on top.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett tells Lashley that Moose called him "a little bitch." Lashley, thinking that Bennett wants him to fight Moose now so Bennett won't have to face him later, still decides to beat up Moose...then maybe, he'll beat up Bennett.

Allie is replaced as Entrant #2 in the Knockout Gauntlet Match by Maria Kannellis-Bennett with someone "taller and more intelligent than her," and that someone is the debuting Laurel Van Ness. (Laurel Van Ness is Chelsea Green, who was on WWE Tough Enough last year.)

Gail Kim wins a Knockouts Gauntlet Match to face Maria for the TNA Knockouts Championship at Bound For Glory.

Eddie Edwards beats Mahabali Shera with a single leg Boston Crab to continue to the next round of the Impact Grand Championship Tournament.

Before the next match, Lashley tells Moose he's not only a dominator but a businessman, and if they want to go at it, they should do it at Bound For Glory. Moose loves the idea, but says he can't wait and attacks Lashley, starting a brawl. "The Miracle" Mike Bennett shows up and attacks Moose from behind, and Ethan Carter III makes his return soon after as Moose is ganged up on by both Lashley and Bennett. The show ends with EC3 hitting both Lashley and Bennett with a double clothesline.
