Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for September 15, 2021

CM Punk guests on commentary for this week.

Adam Cole beats Frankie Kazarian in his AEW debut match. After the match, Adam Cole says that hope is a dangerous thing and that the locker room hopes they can keep up with The Elite, then says that will not happen. Cole says he has been here for a short time, and yet Christian Cage, Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy have already gotten under his skin. He says that if they are so tough, then next week on Rampage, they can face him and The Young Bucks in a six-man tag match. Cole then says that "the super-Kliq" is back and that there is nothing anyone can do to stop them.

We see a video package for The Lucha Bros. (Penta el Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix) vs. The Butcher and The Blade this Friday on Rampage.

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Sammy Guevara and Fuego del Sol. Fuego del Sol talks about his new car, and says that he would be willing to trade it for the TNT Championship. After Guevara asks if this is a challenge, Fuego del Sol puts his car on the line against Miro in a TNT Championship match next week.

MJF and Wardlow head to the ring. MJF says the fans for sympathetic for Brian Pillman Jr. when they should be sympathetic for him for being in New Jersey, and says that Bruce Springsteen, Mia Hamm and the New Jersey Devils "suck as hard as the Jersey Shore skanks." He then says that he was smartened up to the fact that his words last week may have offended people, then says he does not care as the fans tell him to "shut the fuck up." MJF then says he is "the salt of the earth" and a religious man, then has a word with the late Brian Pillman before looking up and pretending to talk to Pillman before looking down and telling him they need to talk. He then says that though Pillman is a legend, Pillman's widow "Methanie" created a sorry excuse of a second-generation wrestler in Brian Jr., and tells Pillman to tell his son that he will massacre Pillman Jr. MJF says the fans can chant as much and as long as they want, but in the end, it will be all too obvious that he is better than Pillman and he knows it. Before he can finish, Brian Pillman Jr.'s entrance theme hits and MJF sends Wardlow to cut him off at the pass. Pillman Jr. shows up from behind the barricade and has a chair, but before he can hit MJF, Wardlow stops him. Pillman sends Wardlow tumbling over the rope, and Wardlow retreats before Pillman Jr. can hit him with the chair.

In footage from earlier today, Jim Ross interviews Brian Pillman Jr. Pillman says it is important for him to fulfill his father's legacy and make him proud, and last week, he felt he let his father down. He then says that while MJF woke up with a silver spoon, he fought for his life, and that the two of them are not the same and that MJF has never been in the ring with a man like him who had a feral upbringing and a lot of adversity. He warns MJF that next week, he will be stepping into the ring not with a man, but with a Pillman.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy, Marko Stunt, Luchasaurus) and Christian Cage. Jungle Boy says he has better friend and hair than Adam Cole, then Christian says that while Adam Cole has pretty good friends, they dragged him out of developmental. He says that he and Jurassic Express accept Cole's challenge, then tells him to get used to losing on Fridays in addition to losing in Wednesday night wars.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) beat Matt Sydal and Dante Martin.

The commentary table addresses "The Suzuki Incident," in which Minoru Suzuki's entrance theme was not played last week, leaving Suzuki feeling slighted. We then see a video package vs. Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer vs. Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston next Friday on Rampage.

Malakai Black heads to the ring. He asks members of the House of Black in the crowd to rise, for they have an enemy in their midsts. Rosario Dawson of "The Go Big Show" is seen in the front row in a Nightmare Factory jacket, and she jumps the barricade to confront Black at ringside. "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes comes down to the ring from the stands, and Rosario Dawson stalls Malakai Black's escape by getting on top of him before Cody is able to catch up to Black and fight him in the crowd.

It is announced that "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes vs. Malakai Black will take place next week on Rampage.

We see a video package chronicling the feud between The Bunny and Anna Jay so far.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Anna Jay. As Evil Uno promises that he will lead the way while cutting off Anna Jay, Alex Reynolds shows up and calls Uno out for it. After Alan "5" Angels butts in, Anna Jay says that if The Dark Order can't get it together, she will not want them at ringside.

In the ring, we hear from Dan Lambert, who says that the merchandise table used to be the way of knowing who was in demand. As Lambert rambles on, Chris Jericho and Jake Hager show up. Lambert demands that Jericho's theme be turned off, as the fans don't know the words and are looking it up through their cellphones. Unfortunately for Lambert, the fans know the lyrics to "Judas" from Fozzy quite clearly. Jericho says they could all sing along to Lambert's theme, but nobody knows the words to "I'm A Fat-Faced Dipshit, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah." Lambert calls Jericho "the master manipulator" and is able to manipulate people into spending their allowance from their moms on his music and merchandise, then Jericho calls Lambert an old man yelling at the AEW could before asking who in the ring is on top. Jericho then says Lambert has nothing to say because his power is in his fist and he relies on fearmongering and misinformation, then says everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face, which Jericho says he and Hager will do. Lambert tells Jericho that if he really wants a fight between The Men of the Year (Scorpio Sky and "All Ego" Ethan Page) and "The Inner Circlejerk," it will be in a real city - New York City - and not "the shithole that is New Jersey." Jericho accepts the challenge, and says there will be no escape from New York for The Men of the Year.

We hear from The Gunn Club (Billy, Austin and Colten Gunn). Billy Gunn says there is nobody disrespected more in AEW than them despite their undefeated record, and that respect will be given one way or another. He says that if anyone has a problem with it, all they have to do is say when.

Jade Cargill beats "Legit" Leyla Hirsch.

We hear from Andrade el Idolo, who says that anyone who lies to him does not respect him, and that he had orders not to interrupt his match. He grabs Jose and demands answers, and tells him that he is the boss, not Chavo Guerrero, and that he can beat anyone when he wants. It is then announced that Andrade has told Chavo Guerrero that his services are no longer required.

Taz confronts CM Punk at the announce table for "taking [his] job," and CM Punk stands up and tells him to take the seat while Hook watches. Taz and Hook step back, and Hook and Punk have a staredown before Punk is blindsided by Powerhouse Hobbs. Punk fights back, but Hook puts him in a Dragon Sleeper while Hobbs nails Puink with a cheap shot. Hook then directs traffic, telling the commentary team to clear out before clearing the table. Powerhouse Hobbs then slams CM Punk through the announce table.

We hear from Shawn Spears, who says that Darby Allin is correct for calling him "a generic piece of shit," saying that he was the first to beat Darby Allin and that he will beat him again.

Darby Allin beats Shawn Spears. After the match, FTR get in the ring, and so doe Sting. Both Sting and Darby brawl with FTR, and Tully Blanchard gets in the ring with a chair and hits Sting only for Sting to confront him. FTR gangs up on Sting, and while Darby Allin makes the save, he fares no better. FTR then hit Sting with a spike piledriver. Tully Blanchard then takes a damp cloth to Sting and tries to wipe the facepaint off Sting's face.

We hear from Bryan Danielson, who says The Elite is insecure. He then says that he is going after Kenny Omega after seeing how great he is, and that he is excited to be in the ring again and be the best Bryan Danielson he can be. He says that he wants Omega as his first match, and after seeing everyone wanting to get into the ring, he is here and he is game.

Tony Schiavone interviews Bryan Danielson in the ring. Before Danielson can say much of anything, Don Callis and Kenny Omega show up. Callis says he has heard enough of Danielson and calls him "a sanctimonious son-of-a-bitch." Callis mocks Danielson making the decision to sign to AEW and thinking it would be the best decision for business, and says that Danielson is not just a "carny piece of shit," but a mark like the rest of the fans. He then says that he and Omega make the title matches, not Danielson, and Danielson tells Callis to shut up. He says he is here to talk to Omega, and says that while it will eventually be about the title, right now it is about who is better. Danielson proposes a match between himself and Omega, but when Callis objects, Danielson yells "Shut up, you piece of shit!" before saying he came here to talk to Omega again. He also says that he came to fight "The Best Bout Machine" and "The God of Pro Wrestling" but only saw a guy who hangs out with a bunch of goofy stooges whom he lets talk for him. Danielson then says he has heard rumors that Omega lost a step or his confidence, then says Omega really lost his balls before proposing the match again. Omega tells Danielson that if he wants "The Best Bout Machine" and "The God of Pro Wrestling," then his answer is yes. Omega and Danielson then have a staredown.

We hear from Miro, who says that every man he has redeemed has moved on to a better career and have not stuck around, and questions why Fuego del Sol has called him out. He then says he will bash Fuego del Sol's head and car, and that Fuego del Sol's family will always be thankful for him.

We hear from Matt Hardy, who says that Orange Cassidy broke his nose and owes him a debt after mocking the business, then says he will start with Cassidy's hair and make him "The Orange Egghead."

Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston beat 2point0 (Jeff Parker and Matt Lee). After the match, Minoru Suzuki shows up and heads to the ring, and Lance Archer shows up at ringside and pulls Kingston out of the ring while Suzuki and Moxley brawl. As Moxley and Suzuki brawl at ringside, Kingston and Archer brawl in the crowd. Moxley and Suzuki soon bring their brawl into the crowd as the show ends.
