Raw Deal - Raw recap for September 20, 2021

The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) head to the ring to start tonight's show. Big E says that while it is not Thanksgiving, he has come to give thanks to the fans for the support throughout the years, those who supported him as he climbed up the ladder to get the Money In The Bank contract and those who cheered him when he became WWE Champion. He thanks those who are still around and those who are no longer around who supported him as well, then says he has to cut the celebration short as The New Day has town business with The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) and Roman Reigns. Big E says that Raw is The New Day's show, and tonight, they will send The Usos and Roman packing. After the crowd chants "New Day Rocks," Paul Heyman, Roman and The Usos arrive. Roman and Big E lift up their respective titles in the center of the ring.

Roman Reigns and The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods). During the match, Bobby Lashley shows up and attacks Big E, Kofi Kingston and The Usos at ringside. This distracts Xavier Woods, and Roman Reigns hits him with the Spear for the win. After the match, Lashley gets in the ring and Spears Roman Reigns. Lashley then Spears Big E through the barricade.

Backstage, Bobby Lashley meets with WWE official Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville and says that he is not done Big E and that show is all about him, "the real champion." He says that he could beat Big E and Roman Reigns on any given day. Lashley then states that this is "The Almighty Era" and that his era never stops.

It is announced that MVP suffered a broken rib from an RKO by Randy Orton last week and is out indefinitely.

Backstage in the locker room, Matt Riddle shows up with the same headphones as Randy Orton so they can listen to the same Spotify playlist, then asks Orton what his spirit animal and talks about a family vacation he had one time. Orton tells Riddle to keep Omos busy with the story about the safari his family went on while he breaks a few of "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles' ribs. He then says the headphones are "pretty cool."

Before the next match, Eva Marie says she is not one for shaming, then tells everyone to look at her and then look at Doudrop, then says she is put together while Doudrop is a mess and that girls like Doudrop can never beat women like her.

Eva Marie beats Doudrop.

Backstage, Big E meets with WWE officials Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce, saying he wants Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns tonight.

Backstage, Paul Heyman meets with WWE officials Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville. It does not take long for Pearce and Sonya to make Roman Reigns vs. Big E vs. Bobby Lashley official for later tonight.

Randy Orton beats "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles. During the match, Omos gets ejected from ringside after tripping Orton on the outside, and he punches Matt Riddle on the way out.

"The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler beats Nia Jax with the Kirifuda Clutch. After the match, Baszler continues to attack Nia Jax, then stomps her left elbow onto the steel steps. Before the next match, Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley talk about Connor's Cure. Rhea says that Connor's Cure has inspired them to join the fight against cancer, and through the partnership with the V Foundation, they have fundraised so much money for the cure for pediatric cancer. Nikki says there is still much work to be done, and she and Rhea Ripley dedicate tonight's match to children with pediatric cancer, their families and those who have contribute to Connor's Cure. Nikki and Rhea then lead a short "victory" chant.

Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley beat Natalya and Tamina to become the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions after Rhea Ripley hits Tamina with the Riptide on the ring apron on the outside and a distracted Natalya's Sharpshooter is turned into an inside cradle by Nikki A.S.H.

It's time for Alexa's Playground. Tonight's guest is Charlotte Flair. Alexa wants to have fun with Charlotte Flair, but mentions that Charlotte always has an ulterior motive and that she did not bring Charlie with her, which is fine, as she brought Charlie just in case. Charlotte says she wants the real Alexa Bliss back, not Charlie, and says that she can fool the fans but she cannot fool fans, for the playground hides how fragile and delicate she really is. Charlotte says it is obvious that Alexa is broken and that she hides behind the playground and black lipstick and walks around with a doll that is more popular than her in her arm. She also calls Alexa's mind games "a joke," then wonders how she went from main eventing WrestleMania 35 to playing with dolls, as she is the real deal and is about to beat a grown woman who dressed up like a kid. Charlotte calls what she is seeing "a desperate cry for help" and promises to beat some sense into Alexa, and asks if she should do it tonight or Sunday at Extreme Rules. Alexa says that everyone gets that Charlotte has the most accolades of any woman in WWE, then says she has lost more titles than any other woman in WWE, and asks who Charlotte Flair is without a title. She then says that nobody knows because Charlotte does not know, and that if Charlotte has no title, she has nothing to brag about, then says she doesn't have to play mind games to expose the insecurities on her forehead. Alexa says Charlotte would not know what to do without a title on her shoulder, and would be nothing without one. She also says that Charlie was a pity gift, as even "a self-centered, narcissistic bitch" like Charlotte deserves happiness. Alexa also says she knows who she is and that she does not have to grasp onto titles to stay relevant. She says that Charlotte can call her crazy, but after Extreme Rules, she will call her champ. Charlotte tells Alexa she will never find out the answer to her question of who she is without a title, then shoves her. Alexa jumps at her, and this starts a brawl. Charlotte boots Alexa, then notices Charlie. Alexa jumps on her, but Charlotte throws her off and tears the head off of Charlie before dropping the beheaded doll in front of Alexa. She goes for Lilly, but Alexa stops her with a DDT and keeps Lilly closer afterwards.

Backstage, Drake Maverick meets with R-Truth, Drew Gulak and Akira Tozawa about dropping a net on Reginald as part of "Operation 24/7." Truth drops the net, while Tozawa is a ninja and Gulak is a distraction. Reginald shows up, and Gulak tries to distract Reginald, but Reginald gets wise to what is going on quickly and the plan fails.

The commentary team asks the fans to vote for The Miz on this season of Dancing With The Stars.

Damian Priest guests on commentary for the next match.

Jeff Hardy beats Sheamus with a roll-up to make the WWE United States Championship match at Extreme Rules a Triple Threat Match. After the match, Sheamus blames his loss on Damian Priest and shoves him. Both men brawl, and referees have to move into place quickly to stop them.
