Over the weekend, the women of the NXT women's division gather for Indi Hartwell's bachelorette party set up by Candice LeRae. After gushing about Dexter, Indi raises a toast to Candice, who at first did not approve of Dexter but realizes that he really loves Indi. After Candice raises a toast to Indi and Dexter's relationship, Candice and Indi go spying on Dexter's bachelor party.

We hear from Malcolm Bivens, who says that The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) are world-class athletes and the two newest members of Diamond Mine, and that they will be debuting this week.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews General Manager William Regal, who announces that next week, there will be a #1 contender for the NXT Championship decided in a Fatal 4-Way Match between Tommaso Ciampa, LA Knight, Kyle O'Reilly and Pete Dunne.

The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) beat Chuckie Viola and Paxton Averill.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Ember Moon, who says it has been a rough three months and that she has lost quite a bit. She says is tired of it, and that it took Kay Lee Ray to wake up and realize she does not want to feel like this anymore. She says that she knows what she has to do, and to stay tuned.

We hear from Hit Row (Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, Ashante "Thee" Adonis, Top Dolla, B-Fab). Swerve says he should have seen it coming and that he knew Santos Escobar would catch him slipping, but he says that won't happen anymore. Top Dolla says a hard head makes a soft ass, and Adonis says that they will be applying pressure. B-Fab says that she does not know who Elektra Lopez is and hitting her with a pipe is not a way to say hello, and now, they have a problem.

Zoey Stark and Io Shirai retain the NXT Tag Team Championships against Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter. After the match, Kacy and Kayden are attacked from behind by Jacy Jayne, Gigi Dolin and Mandy Rose. Rose is seen wearing a protective mask on her face.

We hear from Kyle O'Reilly, who says the last twelve months have been challenging and that he closed a chapter in his career and life in NXT TakeOver 36. He says he can feel and do whatever he wants, and the endgame for him is the NXT Championship and Samoa Joe. O'Reilly says it is not about the title, but what it represents: being the best. He says that one chapter has ended, and next week, another begins.

In footage from over the weekend, Dexter Lumis, Johnny Gargano, Drake Maverick and a zombie referee head to Dexter Lumis' bachelor party. Grimes pays for the party - which Gargano does not want to pay for - and makes a truce with Lumis. Everyone then has a go-kart race where the winner earns $10,000. Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae spy on the proceedings. Gargano wins the race and the $10,000. The five of them go competitive axe throwing, and Dexter Lumis is the only person with any experience with axes. Lumis uses his expertise to teach Gargano how to make the perfect axe throw. Everyone then heads to a trampoline house, where Odyssey Jones takes a bet from Grimes that he can send Drake to the moon. Then, everyone play a game of laser tag, where Lumis takes out everyone on the opposing team and Gargano shoots them. After Lumis' team wins, Gargano and Lumis finally high-five after it is revealed that the zombie ref is Canadian when he says that Lumis isn't that bad. Candice and Indi then show up and congratulate Lumis on winning, and The Way (Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Indi Hartwell) are on the same page again.

Boa bows to Mei Ying and says "It's time." Mei Ying's debut is next.

Backstage, Franky Monet and Jessi Kamea talk about Indi Hartwell's wedding when Robert Stone shows up and says he has gotten with General Manager William Regal. Next week, Franky will face Raquel Gonzalez for the NXT Championship.

Mei Ying quickly beats Virginia Ferry. (Mei Ying is formerly known as Karen Q, while Virginia Ferry has performed on All Elite Wrestling's YouTube shows as Dreamgirl Ellie.)

We hear from LA Knight as he drives his sports car. He says he will smack around three of the fans' favorites to become #1 contender and make Samoa Joe know his time is up.

MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee) retains the NXT Tag Team Championships against Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch. After the match, Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland turn on Burch and Lorcan and attack them.
