Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for June 26, 2019

In footage from earlier today, "The Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks says he may be the underdog and that Walter is prepared, but he is prepared too.

Mark Andrews beats Joseph Conners.

In footage from earlier today, The Hunt ("Wild Boar" Mike Hitchman and "Primate" Jay Melrose) are met by "Bomber" Dave Mastiff, who says that they all have the same problem before firing them up for a potential war with Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mike Coffey, Wolfgang).

Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) shows up. Gibson says they are champions and locker room leaders, but General Manage Johnny Saint thinks it is funny to drag them to a muddy field to perform in front of a bunch of "dirty, sweaty goths." He tells the fans not to clap, for this is not a compliment, but they cheer anyway. He berates the fans for spending the money to come to Download Festival but not for deodorant, and that he has been staying away from all of them. He says that he has not heard any music despite the venue being in a festival, and has instead heard noise and nonsense and not a single instrument. Gibson says they do not want to be here any longer than necessary. While they will be defending their titles against Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven), but until then, they will be relaxing and preparing in their five-star hotel room.

We see a video package chronicling the feud between Rhea Ripley and Piper Niven. Rhea Ripley vs. Piper Niven will take place next week.

Backstage, Toni Storm says that Kay Lee Ray has an opportunity against her, but she is ready for somebody who is all talk like Kay Lee Ray. She states that she will be back in action in two weeks.

Ligero beats Noam Dar. During the match, "The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams shows up with a steel chair and watches from ringside. Later in the match, Noam Dar fakes a knee injury to get Williams to give him his steel chair, but Williams fails to let go on the hand-off and takes it away, allowing Ligero to win with a roll-up.

Next week: Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) vs. Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) for the NXT UK Tag Team Championships!
