Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for June 22, 2019

Colt Cabana retains the NWA National Championship against Mark Briscoe. After the match, Jay Briscoe rushes in and attacks Cobana along with Mark and smacks him in the head with the National Championship.

We hear from Shane Taylor, who states that the best thing about revenge is seeing the look on the face of the people who said you would never make it. He says he cannot think of a better way to shove it down the throats of all the naysayers than by breaking Jay Lethal's records with the championship.

We hear from The Allure (Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, "The Exotic Goddess" Mandy Leon), who announce that they will be making their in-ring debut against Best In The World against Kelly Klein and Jenny Rose and that they are the best in the world. They say that they will wrestle on their time, and their time is now.

"The Last Real Man" Silas Young shows up in a robe that says "Technician of Honor" on the back. He says that for the last few weeks, everyone has had the privilege and honor to watch him exhibit pro wrestling prowess and it's most base and purest form. He says that he has continually proved why he is the best pure wrestler walking the planet today, and if Jonathan Gresham wants to issue a challenge, he will accept it. Silas then says that at Best In The World, it will be the two of them in a Pure Rules Match, but before then, it appears that somebody has a problem with him, wants to make a name off of him and wants to avenge their father's loss: El Hijo de Squid Jr. Once again, a guy in red trunks and knee pads, white boots and a white squid mask who looks much like The Squid shows up.

"The Last Real Man" Silas Young beats El Hijo de Squid Jr. with an abdominal stretch.

We hear from LifeBlood ("Overkill" Mark Haskins and "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams) and "The Darewolf" PJ Black. Haskins says that while they have lost some members, he and William state that they are on the up-and-up after having found a potential new member in PJ Black. Black says that they will win the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships at Best In The World.

Jay Lethal beats Kenny King by disqualification after Kenny King hits Lethal with a microphone in the second match of their best-of-three series. The series is now tied 1-1. After the match, Kenny continues to attack Lethal and kicks him in the ground prior to a post-match Lethal Injection. He then proceeds to put Lethal's arm through a steel chair before stomping on the chair, then says he could have beaten Lethal but chose not to because it was not where the world could see. He tells Lethal he will see him at Best In The World and hopes he will feel a lot better.

We hear from Matt Taven, who says that is about time that an actual star was on camera following two weeks of Jeff Cobb interviews. Taven says that nobody has accomplished more in Ring of Honor than he has, and while he does not know why people are not talking about him, the World Championship is staying around his waist after Best In The World.
