Dario Cueto comes towards Matanza Cueto with a tray full of chicken, and tells him that he is a slave to his hunger for revenge against Rey Mysterio Jr. and that it has made him weak. Dario says that revenge has caused Matanza to attack him. Dario reminds Matanza that he has the power of a god, but that he is still a man. He tells Matanza that if he does not overcome his anger, it may cost him the rest of his humanity and the gods may use him as little more as a vessel and it may destroy them both. Dario then lays the tray of chicken in front of the cage, but Matanza cannot reach it and groans.
Fenix beats Pindar to continue to the semi-finals of the Cueto Cup Tournament.
Dario Cueto thanks The Worldwide Underground (Johnny Mundo, Taya, "The Darewolf" PJ Black, Jack Evans, Ricky Mandel) for coming to his office. Jack Evans can barely speak for some reason, as if his jaw is wired shut. Due to their failure in several matches despite constant interference and assistance of each other, Johnny Mundo is on his own against El Dragon Azteca tonight. If any other members of the Worldwide Underground interfere, they will lose their opportunity at the seven Aztec Medallions of the Gift of the Gods Championship as well as anything else in the temple.
Prince Puma beats Dante Fox to continue to the semi-finals of the Cueto Cup Tournament. After the match, Killshot runs into the ring and double stomps Dante Fox into the back from the top rope before hitting finishing him off in the center of the ring. Killshot then tells Fox that he is right, and that it is not over between them.
Captain Vasquez and Cortez Castro are watching Castro's match against Cage. It is here that we find out that Veneno is actually Cortez Castro under a mask. Vasquez tells Cortez Castro that it was not his best match, but at the same time, nobody would stand a chance against a god. Castro says Cage is a machine, but Vasquez counters that Cage is also a murderer for killing Councilman Delgado, and tells Cortez she doesn't want Cage, but rather the gauntlet that he is wearing. Vasquez tells her that there is not a man alive who will be able to take the gauntlet away from him, and leaves the room. Vasquez pulls out her half of the medallion and says "You may be right."
Johnny Mundo beats El Dragon Azteca Jr. without the interference of the rest of The Worldwide Underground (Taya, "The Darewolf" PJ Black, Jack Evans, Ricky Mandel). After the match, Mundo grabs a steel chair and attacks El Dragon Azteca with it before wrapping his head around in an attempt to injure his neck. Suddenly, Rey Mysterio Jr. shows up and makes the save, and gets El Dragon Azteca's head out of the steel chair. Mundo leaves, then Rey Mysterio Jr. celebrates with his family in the front row. As Rey leaves, Mundo comes back and talks to Dominic, Rey's son, and says Rey has no chance of taking the Lucha Underground Championship from him. Dominic and Johnny Mundo have a heated argument which leads to security getting involved, then Mundo shoves Dominic. Rey comes back, but he is attacked by the rest of The Worldwide Underground. They hold him back as Johnny Mundo hits Dominic in the face with the Lucha Underground title. Rey chases Mundo to the back, then checks on his son Dominic.
Fenix walks ring announcer Melissa Santos to her car after the show. As they talk, Marty "The Moth" Martinez is seen watching them both from a distance. Marty says that Melissa will see just how ugly Fenix is when he takes his mask away.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for July 19, 2017
Prince Puma is on the rooftop of the temple, and he continues to have visions resulting from his Grave Consequences match with Mil Muertes. Vampiro meets him on the roof, and tells him that there is only one thing that will stop the visions: the Lucha Underground Championship. Prince Puma asks Vampiro what will happen if he does not win, and Vampiro says the visions will consume him and that there will be nothing left. Meanwhile, Prince Puma sees The Worldwide Underground (Johnny Mundo, Taya, "The Darewolf" PJ Black, Jack Evans, Ricky Mandel) entering the temple, and Black notices him up on the roof and flips him off before going in. Prince Puma then tells himself he will not lose, no matter what, before saying "my master."
Before the next match, Cage lays out the referee when he tells him to take his gauntlet off, then attacks Pindar. Pindar beats Cage by disqualification to continue to the quarter-finals of the Cueto Cup Tournament when the referee calls for the bell, then Cage lays the referee out again.
Son of Madness attacks Son of Havoc before the next match. Both men fight each other in the crowd, then Madness knocks Havoc out with a steel chain. Dario Cueto shows up and tells Havoc he will not postpone this match, and gives him the choice of either forfeiting the match or preparing to fight. Havoc chooses to fight.
Dante Fox beats Son of Havoc to continue to the quarter-finals of the Cueto Cup Tournament.
"The Darewolf" PJ Black is introduced to The Worldwide Underground's (Johnny Mundo, Taya, "The Darewolf" PJ Black, Jack Evans, Ricky Mandel) new representative, Benjamin Cooke. Black does not see the point in The Worldwide Underground having an agent. He wants to hook The Worldwide Underground up with advertising deals (except for Mandel, for some reason), and tells Johnny Mundo that if he can retain the Lucha Underground Championship, he can give them to the group, and ensure that Lucha Underground is nothing without The Worldwide Underground.
Next week: Drago vs. Pentagon Dark in the Cueto Cup Tournament!
Prince Puma beats "The Darewolf" PJ Black to continue to the quarter-finals of the Cueto Cup Tournament.
Dario Cueto is on the phone with someone when "The Darewolf" PJ Black shows up. Cueto says Benjamin Cooke has demanded that Black get another shot at the Cueto Cup Tournament. He cannot be re-entered into the tournament, but Cooke does have another idea that he agrees with that will allow Black to redeem himself as he unplugs his office phone. Next week, Black will take on Rey Mysterio, Jr. After Black leaves, Cooke calls Cueto again...on his cell phone.
