Collision Course - Collision recap for June 21, 2025

We hear from FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), Stokely Hathaway, Konosuke Takeshita, and "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher at the start of the show. Stokely says that tonight, the five of them are going to win.

Jon Moxley beats AR Fox by submission with a sleeper hold after knocking him out with a ground and pound. After the match, Moxley hits Fox with a Paradigm Shift, then grabs a microphone. Moxley says he has watched "Hangman" Adam Page "piss away" his opportunities and his "God-given" gifts for years and that he does not have the same patience as the fans for him to get things back together. He says that professional wrestling is a tough business and that at All In Texas, he is going to run Hangman out of wrestling for good, as this business is not for him.

We hear from Paragon (Adam Cole and Roderick Strong), Daniel Garcia and Bandido. Adam Cole says that they will keep the party going in an eight-man tag match where he plans to get the win tonight as Collision returns to TNT.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), Konosuke Takeshita, and "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher beat Paragon (Adam Cole and Roderick Strong), Daniel Garcia and Bandido in an All-Star 8-Man Tag Team Match. During the match, it is announced that Collision will air next week on Thursday night at 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central. Swerve Strickland beats Shane Taylor after The Infantry ("The Captain" Shawn Dean and "Bad News and Tattoos" Carlie Bravo) harass Prince Nana for his cash and Swerve takes them down on the outside.

"Timeless" Toni Storm is on the stage. Toni says she is disappointed in Mercedes Moné for messing with her in the last three weeks and for still being in Mexico having won yet another title. She asks if the AEW World Women's Championship is just another toy to her. Toni tells Mercedes that she is "not another motherfucker" and that she is AEW Women's World Champion, and if she makes one false move, she will eat her alive. She demands Mercedes' best as that is what she is, for her reign will be over one day and that there is nobody more deserving than her after everything that she has accomplished. She says that she is nothing like Mercedes, yet when she holds the AEW Women's World Championship, she makes magic happen and unless Mercedes can pull a rabbit out of her snatch, she cannot do the same. She may have to beat Mercedes, but Mercedes will realize that she will have to kill her.

Hologram, Mark Briscoe and Willow Nightingale beat Taya Valkyrie and MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden) in a trios match.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Kris Statlander. As Statlander gets impatient with the lack of a match tonight, Wheeler Yuta tries to talk to Statlander only to get shoved. Statlander then runs into Moxley, who picks her phone up and tells her not to let anyone tell her who she is or what she is worth before returning it to her.

Tony Schiavone interviews The Don Callis Family (Don Callis, Lance Archer, "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) in the ring. Don Callis announces the newest member of his family: "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada. Okada makes his way to the ring, then we see the footage of Callis and Okada ganging up on Kenny Omega before Callis states that he and Okada have teamed up against Omega. Callis warns Omega that if he makes it to All In Texas, he will be totally alone with not one friend left. Suddenly, Mark Briscoe shows up to stand up for Omega, then says he is not Omega's only friend before Kota Ibushi suddenly appears. Lance Archer and Mark Briscoe go at it on the ramp before Ibushi fights Josh Alexander and lays him out. Okada then gets in the ring, and both men trade blows before Ibushi gets the upper hand.

After the commercial break, The Workhorsemen (JD Drake and Anthony Henry) and The Learning Tree ("The Redwood" Big Bill and "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith) are brawling around the ring. The brawl ends with Big Bill choke slamming Anthony Henry into four chairs. Suddenly, The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Mother Wayne, "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne, Kip Sabian) arrives, and says that "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne has been wrestling at a high pace due to his guidance and that it is time he and Nick become the first-ever father-son tag team champions in AEW. Big Bill says that Nick is Christian's adopted son and that Nick's real father could be anybody, then challenges Christian to get into the ring if he does not like what he is saying. Christian questions Big Bill's sobriety, then says that is not happening tonight and that he is the patriarch of AEW now and forever.
