Summer Blockbuster - Collision recap for June 11, 2025

Collision begins where Dynamite ends, with "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada going up to the top rope and hitting Kenny Omega in the abdomen with an elbow drop. Christopher Daniels suddenly shows up and tells Don Callis and Okada to get out of the ring as Kenny Omega is placed on the stretcher. As Daniels is focused on Okada, Callis threatens the medical team with the steel baton, which allows Okada to hit Omega in the abdomen with another elbow drop, this time from the ring apron as Omega is on the stretcher. Kenny Omega spits out blood from the resulting internal bleeding, then Okada and Don Callis run backstage to a waiting silver-colored SUV, which speeds off as soon as Callis and Okada jump into it.

Adam Cole guests on commentary for the next match.

"The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher beats Anthony Bowens after Lance Archer beats Billy Gunn up on the outside, which distracts Bowens and allows Fletcher to hit the brainbuster for the win.

We see a video package painting MJF as an American hero before his match against Mistico at Grand Slam Mexico.

Carlos Cabrera is in the ring. He talks about the collaboration between AEW and CMLL for Grand Slam Mexico, then introduces Atlantis, who comes out to the ring with his son Atlantis Jr. All of a sudden, Stokely Hathaway and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) show up, and proclaims that FTR are the only two living legends here before mocking Atlantis for his age and stating that Atlantis is scared due to everything that FTR has done in the last few weeks. Stokely lists the acts that FTR have performed in the last few weeks and calls Nigel McGuinness a "pill popper" who hopes that he will wake up in 2002 "when he was last revelant." He also brags about FTR causing Daniel Garcia and Adam Copeland to disappear from AEW in recent weeks, stating that Garcia will soon have an OnlyFans link and that Copeland's brain is "sizzling like a Fajita at Chipotle." Stokely mentions that FTR do not yet have a match at Grand Slam Mexico, but do not care how they get it. Dax takes the microphone, stating he is excited about the AEW-CMLL partnership and says Atlantis is "the oldest professional wrestler" in Mexico. Dax introduces FTR and Stokely, then asks questions of Atlantis and - much like with Templario and Atlantis Jr. - refuses to let him answer. After two answer, Atlantis punches Dax, starting a brawl. Adam Cole gets in the ring and fights FTR, but he gets jumped by Hechicero and The Don Callis Family ("The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita, "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander, "The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher). Templario and Bandido also join in to even the numbers, but as FTR and The Don Callis Family get the upper hand, Brody King shows up and rights them all. Adam Cole, Bandido, Templario, Atlantis, Atlantis Jr. and Brody King soon clean house and leave Dax Harwood as the last bit of opposition in the ring. Atlantis makes it clear he wants Dax, and he chases Dax all over the ring and into the crowd as he gets a piece of him.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews The Learning Tree ("The Redwood" Big Bill and "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith). Big Bill says they have cracked skulls and stacked wins with Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona). Bryan Keith thanks Big Bill for having his back, then Big Bill demands another tag team to challenge, then the Workhorsemen (JD Drake and Anthony Henry) - who have not been seen in over a year - show up, and JD Drake says that they accept their challenge. Big Bill says that if they want their skulls cracked, "then by all means."

Mercedes Moné has a steak dinner at ringside for the next match. Before the next match can begin, however, Julia Hart and Skye Blue attack "Timeless" Toni Storm before the bell. Skye Blue gets ejected, and Mercedes Moné laughs at Toni Storm as the AEW medical team checks on Toni. Despite the pre-bell attack, Toni Storm yells "Ring the bloody bell already!" as soon as she gets back in the ring.

"Timeless" Toni Storm beats Julia Hart after avoiding a top rope moonsault and pinning Julia Hart with a small package. After the match, Mercedes Moné confronts Toni Storm, then sniffs her and tosses her to the match. Mina Shirakawa shows up to save Toni, and Mercedes briefly retreats before going after Mina. She throws Mina out of the ring, then raises up the AEW Women's World Championship before telling Toni to kiss it goodbye and pressing Toni's face against the center plate of the championship.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Ricochet. Ricochet says he is looking for the perfect group of individuals to make his dreams of championship gold a reality, then Lee Johnson and Blake Christian show up wanting to ally themselves with Ricochet. Ricochet says he has been watching them and that it is embarrassing to see them play "make believe Ricochet," then says that they are missing something before leaving.

Mark Briscoe, Tomohiro Ishii and Willow Nightingale beat MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden) and Taya Valkyrie in a mixed trios match.

In backstage footage from last week after Fyter Fest, Kris Statlander says that since Willow Nightingale is done with her, she is done with Willow Nightingale. She says there is nobody like her on the roster and says this is not good for anyone else, then Wheeler Yuta shows up and says he had to make tough choices to get where he is at, then says he is there for her for advice. He also tells Statlander to stop thinking about Willow Nightingale and what others think about her, and make her own decisions. Statlander walks past Willow, then has a brief staredown with Marina Shafir as they cross paths, much to the delight of Wheeler Yuta.

Bandido beats The Beast Mortos.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Mercedes Moné, who says that "Timeless" Toni Storm got everything she deserves and that she will win the AEW Women's World Championship. All of a sudden, Zeuxis shows up as Renee Paquette brings up Mercedes tweeting about wanting the CMLL Women's World Championship. She accepts Mercedes' challenge for Grand Slam Mexico, then punches Mercedes in the face.

Backstage, "Hangman" Adam Page is met by The Young Bucks. Prince Nana overhears everything in the background as Matthew says they were not aiming for Swerve Strickland, then tells him to "stick the landing" and bring the AEW World Championship back to them according to plan. Hangman says there is no plan, and tells The Young Bucks to stay out of his, Swerve's and Will Ospreay's business. Hangman says there is no plan, and tells The Young Bucks to stay out of his, Swerve's and Will Ospreay's business. After Hangman walks off, Prince Nana goes back into the trainer's room and asks Swerve if he heard all of that, and Swerve says "Every word."

"The Toxic Spider" Thekla beats Queen Aminata by submission with the Death Trap.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Kip Sabian and "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne. Sabian says that Christian Cage is giving him space after the last few weeks and that Christian and Mama Wayne are busy. We then see footage of Nick Wayne at the Best of the Super Juniors 32. Sabian also says that Christian is proud of Nick Wayne, and says that he would not know where he - or Wayne - would be without Christian.

It is announced that while Kenny Omega is now in a local hospital, he will still face "The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada in a Winner Takes All Match for the AEW Unified Championship at All In Texas.

"Daddy Magic" Matt Menard guests on commentary for the next match.

Hechicero and The Don Callis Family ("The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita, "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander, Lance Archer) beat Daniel Garcia and The Paragon (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) in an eight-man tag match.

Here are the highlights for tonight's Dynamite and Collision!
