Generation NXT - NXT recap for June 17, 2025

Jaida Parker beats Thea Hail in an Evolution Eliminator Match. During the match, Thea makes Jaida tap out, but the referee does not see it, and when Thea lets go of Jaida, Jaida retaliates with Hip-Notic to win and punch her ticket to Evolution.

Backstage, Josh Briggs, Yoshiki Inamura and Elijah look forward to their match. They talk trash about Trick Williams and Fir$t Cla$$ (AJ Francis and KC Navarro), then Elijah leaves and Hank Walker and Tank Ledger show up. Hank and Tank tell Briggs and Inamura that they have a tag team title shot waiting for them. All of a sudden, Oba Femi shows up, and Hank and Tank congratulate him on winning last week. Oba says that Jasper Troy was a great opponent, but he is still champion and ruler and that is not changing any time soon. Oba then runs into Trick Williams, saying his money is on Briggs, Inamura and Elijah, but Trick tells Oba that he is going to be broke.

We see another vignette for Blake Monroe regarding her contract signing later tonight.

Lash Legend beats in an Evolution Eliminator Match after getting her knees up to block a top rope 450 splash.

We see a video package chronicling the feud between Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo as well as the events between D'Angelo and Luca Crusifino.

Backstage, Luca Crusifino meets with Tony D'Angelo, who says that he has heard enough after asking where Crusifino has been, then tells Crusifino that he will see him in the ring.

Tony D'Angelo is in the ring. D'Angelo says that as "The Don," he has to be aware of everything around him as well as the potential to be stabbed in the back. He talks about how his family is splintered, then says he wants trust and loyalty out of Luca Crusifino and is getting neither. He then demands Crusifino enter the ring so they can discuss things. Crusifino shows up and sys he is telling D'Angelo the truth about how Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo took him to the desert, dropped him off, and saying it was his lucky day. D'Angelo asks if he can trust Crusifino. Crusifino says yes. Crusifino says he should have struck Stacks when he had the chance. D'Angelo demands to know if Crusifino is with Stacks, but before Crusifino can answer, Stacks show up with his own men. Stacks says D'Angelo has the truth, but is afraid to admit it. He then asks Crusifino if he has ever questioned his loyalty, then says there is a reason he saved him in the desert: because Crusifino would never be good enough to be D'Angelo's consigliere. At this point, Stacks and his men are on the apron, and they go on the attack. In the brawl, Crusifino inadvertently hits D'Angelo as he aims for Stacks. D'Angelo is angry.

Backstage, Fir$t Cla$$ (AJ Francis and KC Navarro) meet with Trick Williams. AJ Francis tells Trick that KC Navarro is not medically cleared for tonight's match, and AJ replaces him with Wes Lee. The High Ryze (Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont, Tyriek Igwe) show up, and Wes Lee mentions their history. Trick acknowledges it and apologizes for slapping Wes, then everything is good between Trick and Wes for tonight.

At Chase University, Andre Chase finally ticks Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors off in the classroom, and that leads to Dixon and Connors leaving.

It is announced that Ricky Saints has suffered an injured larynx. Meanwhile, "All Ego" Ethan Page and The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, "The Smoke Show" Ricky Saints, Jackson Drake) laugh about this until Starks arrives wanting a piece of Ethan. Jackson Drake says Starks will have to go through The Vanity Project first. Ashante "Thee" Adonis suddenly shows up and tells Saints that he needs to chill out as Ethan and The Vanity Project leave. Adonis says he has numbers on his side, but soon finds out he is all alone, and Starks tells Adonis that he will see him soon.

Backstage, Je'Von Evans and Tavion Heights speak with Wren Sinclair, who has yet to speak with Charlie Dempsey. Jasper Troy shows up, and Je'Von Evans tries to strike up a friendship with him but fails. Charlie Dempsey shows up, and Dempsey gives Tavion an out via a match where he gets to leave Dempsey if he wins.

Elijah, Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura beat Trick Williams, AJ Francis and Wes Lee in a six-man tag match.

Backstage, Sol Ruca and Zaria are talking about the Evolution Eliminator Matches when Tatum Paxley crawls out of a road crate to try to join them.

Backstage, General Manager Ava overhears Tony D'Angelo and Luca Crusifino, who argue over Crusifino's trustworthiness. Ava says Stacks - who D'Angelo wants to put Crusifino in a match with - has a Heritage Cup match after beating D'Angelo and after Crusifino signed off on it. A heated D'Angelo leaves.

Izzi Dame beats Zaria in an Evolution Eliminator Match after Zaria is distracted by Tatum Paxley talking to Sol Ruca on the outside.

Backstage, Josh Briggs talks with Yoshiki Inamura, saying Inamura deserves a TNA World Championship shot. Inamura says he came back from Briggs and wants to be TNA World Champion while the two of them are NXT Tag Team Champions. Briggs likes the idea.

Jordynne Grace beats Lola Vice with a stretch muffler slam followed by the Juggernaut Driver in an Evolution Eliminator Match.

Backstage, Zaria is cross with Tatum Paxley when Izzi Dame shows up and tells Tatum that Sol Ruca and Zaria are not her real friends and that if they were, they would include her.

We hear from Noam Dar, who talks about his history with the Heritage Cup before stating that he is the greatest to hold the cup and plans to keep it that way.

General Manager Ava oversees the contract signing for Blake Monroe. Monroe heads to the ring. Monroe says that the moment everyone has waited for is here, and that she has been waiting to be a part of the NXT women's division. She says that WWE has always been her dream, and now that she is here, the division is all hers. She says "The Glamour" turns heads, raises the bar and defines what it means to be a star, and that the spotlight is finally on her. Monroe produces her own pen and signs the contract, then Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx) shows up. Jacy wants to know why Ava is "kissing the newbie's ass" and that Fatal Influence have run the women's division all year and have not received one celebration for it. Jazmyn mocks the attention Blake Monroe is getting and says she is delusional for thinking she can take what they built. Monroe calls Fatal Influence "insecure bitches," and Jacy calls Monroe another flavor of the month. Monroe asks Jacy "Have you ever tried this one?" before slapping her, and this leads to Fatal Influence attacking her and putting her through the table in the center of the ring to end the show.

Here are the highlights from tonight's show!
