Collision Course - Collision recap for June 26, 2025

Tony Schiavone moderates a face-to-face meeting between The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) and the team of FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Stokely Hathaway to start tonight's show. Stokely says that FTR should be challenging for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, but first, they must clear the air about what happened on Collision. He says that he is "flabbergasted" towards The Outrunners' behavior, as both teams used to be friends until The Outrunners "made them out to be enemies." Cash agrees with Stokely, saying he and Dax are both flabbergasted and cannot figure what they did to deserve this after everything they did for The Outrunners, saying they have a problem with FTR when they did nothing wrong. He says everyone has a problem with FTR when they started looking out for themselves, and asks The Outrunners to think about what they are throwing away before they make any rash decisions. Cash then shows a video package of the times both teams shared together as the "FTRunners," then Dax says that he considered The Outrunners family until jealously reared its ugly head and The Outrunners realized that both teams had completely different ceilings. Dax says The Outrunners were once a popular act and big merchandise sellers, but when they got their one shot at immortality by becoming AEW World Tag Team Champions, they embarrassed themselves like they always do and proved that they were a joke, causing the fans to laugh at them. Dax says the fans do not care and have never cared about The Outrunners, who he says sided with the fans and will have to learn the hard way that the fans will turn on them like they turned on FTR. He says that while their gimmick will make them money, it will not make them "FTR money," as they will never be "FTR good." As FTR leaves, Magnum takes the microphone and admits that The Outrunners may not be everybody's cup of tea and may have come up short against The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin), FTR is dead wrong about the fans not beliving in them. Turbo says they made a mistake in believing FTR would be mentors and friends who would take them to the top, yet when something even slightly better came along, FTR dropped them. He says The Outrunners were put on this earth to wrestle and entertain, and now they are on this earth to whup FTR's ass. FTR and Stokely head back to the ring, but Stokely stops FTR and says they would fight them, but FTR does not fight for free, especially not in Washington. He then says that if they want a fight, they can have one next week in Ontario, California.

The Patriarchy (Christian Cage and "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne) beat The Learning Tree ("The Redwood" Big Bill and "The Bounty Hunter" Nick Wayne) follow ing Mother Wayne distracting the referee.

Backstage, we hear from "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander, who proclaims that he will relieve Adam Cole of the burden of being a fighting champion for far too long. He says that he and Adam Cole are no strangers to each other, and that Cole issued an open challenge and that he is here to answer. He knows that Adam Cole has a bad ankle, and states that Cole will not only walk out as TNT Champion, but he will not walk out at all.

Backstage, we see The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne, Mother Wayne, Kip Sabian). Christian tells Nick Wayne that he is proud of him and that if he listens to him, good things will happen. MVP shows up and congratulates The Patriarchy on their win before taking their tag team title aspirations seriously, and reminds Christian that his partner is still a kid and warns them not to take on The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin). Christian asks MVP if he is trying to convince himself or convince him, as he lives by the rule "Never trust a criminal," and says that while MVP is a bad criminal because he got caught, he is a better criminal than he is a manager. Christian then says that he is "The Patriarch" and that he runs AEW, and if he wants the tag team titles, they are as good as theirs. MVP wishes Christian good luck, and tells him that he will need it.

Brody King and Templario beat Rocky Romero and Hechicero.

We see a video package for Mercedes Moné, who then smashes a film projector with a baseball bat and tells "Timeless" Toni Storm that she enjoys playing games with her because they are easy to win, then says that she can right through her and that she is "an act" and "a mark." Mercedes says that she is a real star and is about to hold seven titles before declaring that Toni is not just "some motherfucker," but "the motherfucker who is about to be so fucked over" at All In Texas, as this is her movie, her story and her legacy. She then says that if Toni wants a death sentence, then this will be the beautiful murder that she wrote. Mercedes then brags about walking Toni like a dog before walking all over her face until All In, and hopes that Toni will be able to stomach the beating that she is about to give her when she gives one to Mina Shirakawa next week with the TBS Championship on the line. She says that while Toni and mina are playing checkers, she is playing chess.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews "Timeless" Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa. Toni tells Mercedes Moné that if these are the kinds of games that she wants to play, then she was born on a roulette table. She says she will play snooker with her snatch and tic-tac-toe with her tits, and next week, Mina will play games with Mercedes. Mina tells Toni not to get involved no matter what happens when she faces Mercedes for the TBS Championship. Toni tells Mina to keep Mercedes alive, because she wants to finish the job.

Megan Bayne beats Vertvixen.

Backstage, we hear from Anthony Bowens. He announces that next week, he will be entering the Casino Gauntlet qualifying match next week on Dynamite 300. He also says that he has asked Billy Gunn to stay home and rethink their strategy before he wins and enters the Casino Gauntlet at #2 after their strategy comes into play.

Adam Cole retains the TNT Championship against "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander.

Backstage, Ricochet is confronted by AR Fox for walking out on him when AR Fox is attacked from behind by Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona). Ricochet says to Gates of Agony "Let's talk," then laughs at AR Fox.

We see a vignette for Alex Windsor. She says she is in AEW to prove she is the best, win championship gold and make sure everyone knows her name.

Queen Aminata beats Skye Blue. After the match, Julia Hart confronts Aminata when "The Toxic Spider" Thekla shows up. Skye Blue attacks Aminata from behind, and Julia and Thekla join in. All of a sudden, Anna Jay and Tay Melo show up with weapons and make the save for Aminata. Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford show up and stand at the stage.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Daniel Garcia and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard when Rocky Romero shows up. Romero says The Don Callis Family has no problem with Daniel Garcia and that the family wants him to join, but brings up Garcia's relationship with Adam Cole and questions Adam Cole's motives before saying that Garcia does not know what a true friend looks like. Daddy Magic takes offense to this, and Romero tells Garcai that if he wants real friends and family, he knows where to find The Don Callis Family.

"The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher beats Kyle O'Reilly soon after the interference of Lance Archer (amidst many Kyle-centric chants by the fans). After the match, Fletcher and Archer attack O'Reilly until Adam Cole and Roderick strong run into the ring.

Here are the highlights for tonight's show!
