Generation NXT - NXT recap for June 24, 2025

We hear from Lash Legend, Izzi Dame, Jaida Parker and Jordynne Grace before their Fatal 4-Way Match tonight.

Trick Williams retains the Total Nonstop Action World Championship against Josh Briggs after Briggs misses a top rope moonsault and Trick hits the Trick Shot. After the match, Trick demands respect on his name, saying he is the greatest TNA World Champion of all time after going from "carrying Him" to carrying two brands at the same time. Joe Hendry's entrance theme hits, and Trick is attacked from behind by Hendry.

Backstage, we find out that Tavion Heights was injured while training with Charlie Dempsey and that while Tavion is cleared for tonight, he has to wear a face mask.

Backstage, Myles Borne is seen talking with Florida Gators college football players George Gumbs Jr. and Tyreak Sapp. Lexis King tries to butt in give Myles Borne - which Myles refuses to take due to Lexis' cheating nature - then calling Gumbs and Sapp idiots, which causes them to step up.

Je'Von Evans beats Tavion Heights. After the match, Tavion is attacked from out of nowhere by Jasper Troy.

It is announced that due to injury, Noam Dar has been stripped of the NXT Heritage Cup and that Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo will compete for it.

Ricky Saints beats Ashante "Thee" Adonis. After the match, "All Ego" Ethan Page appears on the TitanTron, then Ricky Saints is attacked from behind and hit with a Ro-Sham-Bo by Ethan himself.

Oba Femi heads to the ring. Oba says that since the beginning of the year, he has been NXT Champion, and in that time, he has put down all who have opposed him and made them footnotes in his legacy. He says that any man in his position would rest on his laurels, but he is not just any man, and he is restless when he is idle and has no competition, as he enjoys the fight. He then issues an open challenge to anyone who thinks they can beat him. The challenge is answered by Yoshiki Inamura, who says that he came to NXT to chase gold like Oba Femi, yet when he left, he realized what he missed, and that he loves NXT. He says that he wants to pay the fans back by becoming NXT Champion, and that he wants bigger and that Oba Femi is bigger. Oba Femi says that he made NXT a long time ago, and while Yoshiki Inamura turned the tide with a smile on his face, he knows that Yoshiki wants the fight as much as he does, and when he faces him, he will fall like everyone else. Yoshiki simply tells Oba "I am ready." As Yoshiki leaves, however, he is attacked by Jasper Troy.

Backstage, Izzi Dame gives a doll to Tatum Paxley, then asks her to be in her corner tonight. Sol Ruca and Zaria show up, and Izzi says that the only championship Zaria will get close to is held by Sol Ruca. Tatum ends up meeting with The Culling (Shawn Spears, Niko Vance, Izzi Dame), then leaving with Izzi.

Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo beats Tony D'Angelo to become the NXT Heritage Cup Champion! D'Angelo scores the first fall with a Spear with 2:24 (two minutes, twenty-four seconds) left in Round 2. Stacks scores the second fall after kicking at D'Angelo's bad left knee with 2:43 (two minutes, forty-three seconds) left in Round 4. Luca Crusifino stands in D'Angelo's corner starting in Round 5. Stacks scores the third and deciding fall with 1:20 (one minute, twenty seconds) left in Round 5 after Luca Crusifino fights off Stacks' underlings until he inadvertently hits D'Angelo in the back with a bucket. After the match, Tony D'Angelo punches out Crusifino, stating that he does not trust him or Stacks.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews The Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Jazmyn Nyx). Fallon says Blake Monroe is not climbing her way to the top in NXT, and Jacy says that they, not "The Glamour," is forever. As for tonight, she plans to be in Evolution, and whoever wins in tonight's Fatal 4-Way match will not have their hand raised in Atlanta, Georgia.

Backstage, Thea Hail is still upset with her latest loss when Lainey Reid shows up and says she has not changed a bit. Meanwhile, Lash Legend shows up wanting everyone to see her in the next match, which is tonight's main event.

Backstage, General Manager Ava meets with "All Ego" Ethan Page, who says that Ricky Saints keeps pushing his buttons. Ava requires Ethan and Saints to be in her office next week. After Ethan leaves, Ava finds out that Hank Walker and Tank Ledger have been attacked.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Joe Hendry. Hendry says that he plans to take the Total Nonstop Action World Championship back. He says that Trick wants to show up in TNA whenever he wants, so he will do the same in NXT, and that he will remind Trick where he came from.

Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors are back in Chase University. Andre Chase stands by what he said last week, saying his attitude is what created his university. Kale and Uriah leave again, with Dixon saying that same attitude destroyed it.

Jordynne Grace beats Jaida Parker, Lash Legend and Izzi Dame in a Fatal 4-Way Match to become #1 contender for the NXT Women's Championship at Evolution. During the match, Tatum Paxley makes the assist for izzi Dame by grabbing at Jaida Parker from the outside, but Sol Ruca and Zaria show up and Zaria carries Tatum away.
