Bad News Barrett brags about his successful Intercontinental title defense at
Payback, then calls Cesaro a coward as he talks about his loss on
Raw the next night. He then makes fun of Rob Van Dam, who has an Intercontinental title shot against him that he blames on WWE management. Rob Van Dam shows up and brawls with Barrett, causing Barrett to retreat.
The Wyatt Family (Luke Harper and Erick Rowan) beat Goldust and Kofi Kingston.
Renee Young interviews Rob Van Dam. He says he's still got what it takes...and he'll prove it tonight.
Bad News Barrett vs Rob Van Dam for the WWE Intercontinental Championship ends when Cesaro shows up and destroys both men in response to Barrett calling him a coward.
