Raw Deal - Raw Recap for April 22, 2013

The show begins with Paul Heyman in the ring. After reminding us of what happened last week here in London, England, he tells us Triple H isn't here tonight due to his injuries, but he will give his answer to Heyman and Brock Lesnar's challenge next week. Heyman badmouths Trips for no-showing, then Triple H himself shows up. He tells Heyman that he accepts the challenge for Extreme Rules, then gives Paul Heyman a Pedigree!

R-Truth sings his theme. Antonio Cesaro yodels.

R-Truth beats Antonio Cesaro.

A helicopter lands in London. It's The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns)! They then take a Range Rover to the O2 Arena!

Damien Sandow steals a victory from Brodus Clay with help from Cody Rhodes.

Dolph Ziggler looks at his World Heavyweight belt, then shares a moment with AJ Lee. After Ziggler tells Big E to leave them for a moment, Brad Maddox and Vickie Guerrero shows up. If Ziggler loses tonight, his Triple Threat match at Extreme Rules will become a Fatal Four-Way!

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) get some screen time. They hope to make themselves The Undertaker's judge, jury and executioner!

Dolph Ziggler beats Chris Jericho thanks to Fandango's entrance music distracting Jericho.

Josh Mathews interviews Mick Foley, who talks about Ryback vs. John Cena at Extreme Rules before leaving. He says there's no excuses for Ryback.

Tensai beats Cody Rhodes after Brodus Clay foils Damien Sandow's interference attempt.

Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan and Kane) discuss strategies as they are waiting for Undertaker. Kane has to tell Daniel not to give him a hug or tell him what to do. Shortly afterward, The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) hit Team Hell No with a surprise ambush!

Josh Mathews interviews Ryback. John Cena wasn't there for him. Ryback let him know how it felt last week. He also wants to meet Mick Foley, too.

Big E Langston squashes Zack Ryder.

Undertaker has to go it alone against The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns)...or so we think! Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) make it into the ring after all, and take it to The Shield! The 6-man tag match is on!

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) beat Undertaker and Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) in a hard fought six-man tag match.

John Cena talks to Mick Foley. He's concerned about him, but Foley wants to meet Ryback alone. Cena hands Foley a steel chair and tells him to take it with him.

Fandango squashes William Regal. After the match, Chris Jericho tosses Fandango off the entrance ramp before dancing with his female friend (who just so happens to be Summer Rae from NXT).

AJ Lee wins a battle royal by playing dead, fooling Layla to become the #1 contender to the Divas title.

We see a trailer for No One Lives, a new movie featuring Brodus Clay.

Mick Foley enters the ring with the steel chair John Cena gave him. He doesn't want to get into a confrontation, but he just might enter one. Since Ryback wants Foley to say what he wants to say about him to his face, Foley basically says "Here I am." Ryback shows up, and questions why Foley thinks the chair will help him. Foley has always gotten back up when nobody was there for him instead of spouting statistics, and knows Ryback can win the WWE title...but he can't do it by walking away. Ryback tells Foley to shut up and keep his nose out of everyone's business like he does every year, then says that he sent the message to Cena, that he got the title match, and that he will soon become WWE Champion. He then questions why Foley thinks the chair will help him, then Foley says "You tell me," before wielding it. Ryback tosses the chair away as he tells Foley to look at him, and both men are about to go at it. Cena runs in and stops both men, and Foley gets out of the ring as Cena and Ryback stare each other down. The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) shows up, and Cena appears to leave Ryback high and dry by standing on the apron before apparently leaving. As The Shield beat down Ryback, Cena runs back in with the chair he gave to Foley and demolishes The Shield, who quickly retreat. Cena and Ryback stare each other down, and Cena discards the chair before hitting Ryback with the Attitude Adjustment to close out the show.

It should be mentioned the crowd tried to give the post-WrestleMania New Jersey crowd from the Izod Center show a few weeks back a run for their money. Heck, some of the same chants were used, and The Wave was also performed in the audience.
