Vickie Guerrero shows up and says she's cleared the air with Triple H. She then brings out Randy Orton, who apparently isn't in the mood for hugs. Randy Orton plans to give the WWE Universe what they deserve, and sounds patronizing as he does so. He then asks for their support as he is the new face of the WWE. Daniel Bryan shows up, thanks John Cena for their match at SummerSlam, compliments Randy Orton on how pretty he looks...then says Orton's so pretty that he could kick Orton in the face after calling Orton a product of nepotism. D-Bry then says he could beat Orton for the WWE title, but Orton tells him he'll have to wait until Night of Champions. Orton then tries to RKO Daniel Bryan, but D-Bry pushes Orton away in time. Orton leaves.
Vickie Guerrero has a Daniel Bryan problem...and Wade Barrett wants to take Bryan out of the equation for good! Guerrero makes a Steel Cage match between Barrett and Bryan for tonight!
Curtis Axel beats Cody Rhodes with the help of Paul Heyman. After the match, Heyman puts Axel on a pedestal before whing about CM Punk again, saying Punk should have given up after the beating he received from Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Heyman then says Nobody can beat Axel, not even for the Intercontinental Championship. Axel takes the microphone and challenges Punk to a match live on Raw, saying he's going to finish where Brock Lesnar left off and finish Punk off.
Dolph Ziggler beats Big E Langston.
Alberto Del Rio beats Christian with the Cross Arm Breaker from the top rope. Del Rio tells everyone to follow him as he looks and talks down to them, then Ricardo Rodriguez shows up...and says Rob Van Dam stands up for people, unlike Del Rio. As RVD walks down the ramp, Christian hits a Missile Drop Kick on Del Rio, before RVD hits the Rolling Thunder and sending Del Rio into a full retreat.
Big Show and "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry beat 3MB (Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal) in a 3-on-2 handicap match. After the match, The Shield (Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) show up on the TitanTron to tell them to just give up...because they're just better.
Darren Young beats Antonio Cesaro.
Some guy asks Ryback for an autograph...but doesn't know his name and asks "which one he is." Ryback then tears up the autograph.
Daniel Bryan beats Wade Barrett in a steel cage match. Randy Orton hits an RKO on Daniel Bryan from out of nowhere after the match.
John Cena shows up. He is surprised and disgusted about what happened at SummerSlam, when Triple H Pedigreed Daniel Bryan and let Randy Orton cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase . He thanks Daniel Bryan for last night, and for reminding him that a true Superstar is judged by what he does in-ring. He also reveals the fluid in his left elbow is the result of a torn tricep. Cena is getting surgery for it immediately and will be gone for four to six months. He then brings out a man who has earned everyone's respect: Daniel Bryan. Before Bryan can speak after Cena leaves, Stephanie McMahon shows up. She apologizes and says Triple H was doing what was best for business. Daniel Bryan doesn't care, and wants revenge. Even Stephanie's underhanded compliments don't help matters, and D-Bry slaps the microphone out of her hand. Stephanie then calls for security after getting another microphone. D-Bry starts a "No!" chant as he is escorted out.
Cody Rhodes beats Damien Sandow.
Brad Maddox mentions Dolph Ziggler's tweets from last night, which basically state that Ziggler distrusts Triple H after what happened last night. It is obviously because of this (even though Brad won't say it) that Ziggler has to take on The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) in a 3-on-1 handicap match tonight.
Paul Heyman is in the ring. He gloats about Brock Lesnar's win over CM Punk. Heyman is willing to forgive Punk and take him back.
The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) get trash talked on by the Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella).
The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) beat AJ Lee and Layla.
The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) beat Dolph Ziggler...and give him a three-man powerbomb.
Alberto Del Rio injures Sin Cara's wrist and hand to win by ref stoppage, yet still attacks him. Del Rio then plays the "Latino representative" again, but Ricardo Rodriguez returns for the first time since Del Rio betrayed him to tell him he's representing somebody new: Rob Van Dam. RVD and Del Rio brawl, and RVD gets the upper hand before Del Rio flees.
The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) beat The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro).
Renee Young interviews Big Show. He and Mark Henry want the tag titles. Brad Maddox shows up and takes over from there, saying that Big Show has spoke "disparaging remarks" about Triple H...so he puts Show in a 3-on-1 tornado handicap match.
Justin Gabriel and Zack Ryder check out some Foot Locker gear for a WWE Foot Locker sweepstakes...as does Fandango.
Ryback bullies another random person, this time in the locker room.
The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) beat Big Show in a 3-on-1 tornado handicap match with a three-man power bomb.
CM Punk shows up. He dares a guy in the crowd to get in the ring and fight him for booing him. Then, he dares Paul Heyman to get out into the arena. Heyman shows up with Curtis Axel. Pnk can't compete because he's not medically cleared, but he's ready to apologize to Heyman...for not destroying him! He dares Heyman to get in the ring. Heyman then apologizes...for what Curtis Axel will do to him after the commercial break.
After the commercial break, Curtis Axel gets in the ring..and he and CM Punk brawl! Axel gets the upper hand and aims for Punk's injured knee, but in the end Punk ultimately laid him out.

Daniel Bryan is back...and Brad Maddox lets Stephanie McMahon know.
The whole locker room is here for the Randy Orton coronation. Vince McMahon tells Triple H he did the right thing, and Triple H says he did it to ensure the future of the WWE. He says he likes Daniel Bryan and that it hurt him to do it, but he ends up using the same underhanded compliments as Stephanie McMahon did at the beginning of the show. He then brings out Randy Orton, who thanks Triple H. Triple H knows that D-Bry is in the building, and lets him come out. Daniel Bryan shows up, and before Daniel Bryan can say anything, he ends up being beaten up by The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns), who like the rest of the roster, was told not to touch Daniel Bryan by Triple H himself. Triple H stops them from using the three-man powerbomb, and lets Daniel Bryan enter the ring to say what he has to say to him...only to eat an RKO from Orton.
The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan) show up. They have found that their actions have been misinterpreted. Wyatt considers Kane a freak of nature, yet people still love him, and wants to reveal him as the "pack of lies" that he is, promising to beat Kane at SummerSlam. Kane's music hits, but it's a sneak attack that leaves Kane alone in the ring with Wyatt. Kane unloads, but is then overpowered by both Harper and Rowan, with Wyatt enjoying his brothers' comeback.
Christian beats Damien Sandow with a surprise roll-up, then lands a Spear on Sandow after the match. Alberto Del Rio shows up and attacks Christian from behind, telling him he won't win this Sunday. Del Rio goes for the Cross Arm Breaker only to eat a Killswitch!
Renee Young interviews Rob Van Dam, who knows he can beat Dean Ambrose for the United States title. Mark Henry and Big Show come from nowhere to side with RVD to back him, and they too are hungry for The Shield (Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns)!
AJ Lee and Layla beat Kaitlyn and Kaitlyn.
Renee Young interviews Ryback. He lives off of brutality and isn't on the SummerSlam card. He then catches a random guy backstage smiling at him...and promptly beats him up. (The backstage worker is Drake Younger, who will later join WWE as a referee the following March under his real name Drake Wuertz.)
"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry, The Big Show and Rob Van Dam beat The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns).
After Antonio Cesaro and Zeb Colter are tossed out by the ref, The Miz rolls up Jack Swagger for the win.
Curtis Axel beats Zack Ryder.
After the break, Paul Heyman complains about CM Punk and promises Brock Lesnar will beat him at SummerSlam.
Vince McMahon shows up as Daniel Bryan takes on Wade Barrett in a no-disqualification match.
Vince McMahon tosses the referee out by his leg as Daniel Bryan locks in the No! Lock on Wade Barrett. Vince brings in Brad Maddox to replace the ref, but even that backfires as Barrett inadvertently hits Maddox with a kendo stick. Vince almost puts on a ref's shirt ripped off from the first ref, but Triple H comes out with the stripes already on, and counts Daniel Bryan's pinfall to give Bryan the win over Barrett. Triple H and D-Bry lead the "Yes!" chants, then Randy Orton shows up at the top of the entrance ramp to close out the show.
Wade Barrett beats Daniel Bryan when special guest referee Brad Maddox performs a fast count. This angers Bryan, and Maddox somehow escapes D-Bry's wrath.

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) talk down to the rest of the WWE and flex their superiority, saying they can't be beaten.
Josh Mathews interviews CM Punk. Punk knows Paul Heyman has something up his sleeve in their match tonight...
The Great Khali and Natalya beat Big E Langston and AJ Lee after Natalya gets AJ to tap to the Sharpshooter. Big E attacks Khali and Hornswoggle, but Khali strikes back!
Vince McMahon is here!
Vince McMahon shows up! He mentions the fast count from the Wade Barrett-Daniel Bryan match at the start of the show. He brings out Brad Maddox, demanding an explanation. Brad was guest referee because "Daniel Bryan matches get out of hand," and "admits" that he was "a little excited." He asks for a second chance in the form of being the special guest referee in the Daniel Bryan-John Cena match at SummerSlam. Vince McMahon questions Maddox's neutrality even further, then makes him special guest referee for the match anyway. Triple H shows up, agrees with Vince on what makes up the neutrality of a special guest referee, then puts Maddox in a Pedigree after saying he should be the special guest referee in the match instead.
Kane vs Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam will be a Ring of Fire Match. The ring will be surrounded with fire, keeping this match one-on-one.
Kane beats Titus O'Neil...then The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan, Luke Harper) show up. When the lights turn back on, Kane reappears at the top of the entrance ramp.
Josh Mathews interviews Brie and Nikki Bella, the Bella Twins. The Bella Twins say they're the queen bees of the Divas Division. Natalya shows up, however, and challenges Brie to a match at SummerSlam. Eva Marie joins the Bellas as The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) show up to side with Natalya. Brie slaps Natalya before she, Nikki and Eva Marie leave.
Alberto Del Rio beats Kofi Kingston with the Cross Arm Breaker.
After a video package of Christian's career, Renee Young interviews Christian. Christian plans to beat Alberto Del Rio and win the World Heavyweight title at SummerSlam, then Alberto Del Rio shows up and openly mocks him, saying "no more matches for you."
Zeb Colter's distraction backfires! The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro).
It's time for Miz TV! The Miz's guests tonight are Daniel Bryan and John Cena. It's official: Cena and D-Bry's match will have Triple H as the special guest referee. D-Bry is happy that the WWE Universe gets the match they deserve, and Cena is pleased with this as well. Daniel Byan feels John Cena is not in this for the wrestling and is only in this for the fame, and considers him to be a parody. Cena says otherwise, saying that the WWE Universe is the sole reason for why they do what they do...yet both men will always have their critics. Nevertheless, Daniel Bryan feels disrespected by Cena, as he feels Cena does not understand his hunger to hold the WWE title even once. After further insults and a reference to the Japanese exercise where two opponents take turns slapping each other in the face, D-Bry tells Cena he doesn't even deserve the slap. Cena slaps D-Bry, then Triple H shows up to restore order solely through his presence. Randy Orton shows up immediately afterwards, lifting the red Money In The Bank briefcase into the air.
R-Truth and Fandango have a dance battle. Fandango attacks R-Truth during his turn, but R-Truth strikes back!
Paul Heyman has second thoughts about challenging CM Punk to a match...
Rob Van Dam wins the 20-man battle royal. He goes on to face Dean Ambrose for the United States title at SummerSlam. "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry, the last man he eliminated, fistbumps with RVD. The Shield (Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) show up. Henry sticks around to help RVD in case of a potential attack. The biggest surprise, however, is the return of Big Show, who evens the odds. The Shield flee.
Paul Heyman comes out and blames the WWE Universe for all that's happened. He then brings out Brock Lesnar. We see a Lesnar video package, then Heyman dares Punk to get in the ring with him and Lesnar. Punk's music plays, but it's a sneak attack - Punk comes out from the back and levels Lesnar with a television camera. Punk chases Heyman, but Curtis Axel runs interference. Axel fares no better and eats a GTS after some steel chair shots. The show ends with Punk declaring himself the best in the world.
It's time for Miz TV! Tonight's guests are AJ Lee and Big E Langston. AJ Lee says that she likes Big E as a friend, but when it comes to her past boyfriends, AJ tells Miz - when asked - that she has never considered herself the problem that ended each and every relationship. She obviously thinks all of them left her, as did Kaitlyn...but says the Divas title will never leave her. When she mentions Dolph Ziggler, Ziggler shows up and says he's over her, but AJ doesn't believe him. Kaitlyn shows up, says AJ has cost bost her and Ziggler their titles, and goes on to say she has no idea why AJ is so obsessed with them. After some arguments from both sides, Miz puts an end to the furor and makes a match for SummerSlam: Kaitlyn and Ziggler vs AJ and Big E. When Kaitlyn tells AJ she'll "slap the crazy off of her face," both ladies fight and are separated by Big E, who then gets Zig-Zagged by Ziggler. Kaitlyn then Spears AJ.
Alberto Del Rio wants an explanation from Vickie Guerrero as to why he has to face Christian tonight. It's because of what he did to Ricardo Rodriguez on Raw earlier this week, according to Vickie.
Fandango beats Kofi Kingston thanks to a distraction by Summer Rae.
Renee Young asks Daniel Bryan about the corporate makeover. The only thing D-Bry will change is history when he beats John Cena at SummerSlam.
Daniel Bryan beats Wade Barrett with the No Lock when Barrett tries to cut D-Bry's beard off...and fails. After the match, D-Bry breaks Barrett's razor.
Renee Young interviews Damien Sandow, who now holds a bigger, "Sandow-ized" Money In The Bank briefcase made out of leather. He plans to take the World title from Alberto Del Rio.
Kane beats 3MB (Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal) in a 3-on-1 handicap match, then The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan) shows up on the TitanTron. Bray Wyatt isn't afraid of Kane's fire, as he says it can't burn him and that he's "already dead."
Brock Lesnar announces his match against CM Punk is personal. He considers Punk to be nothing compared to him, and that he let Punk exist out of respect for Paul Heyman before saying that Punk's accomplishments pale in comparison to his own. At SummerSlam, Lesnar plans to destroy Punk.
Christian gets a win on Alberto Del Rio from out of nowhere after thwarting Del Rio into falling victim to a pinfall attempt. Del Rio is livid and tries to beat up Christian, only to eat a Killswitch. After Christian leaves, Damien Sandow rushes in and tries to cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase only to be thwarted by Cody Rhodes.
Vince McMahon shows up with Brad Maddox. Brad Maddox apologizes for letting John Cena pick his SummerSlam opponent, then Vince has fun with what Maddox supposedly said about Daniel Bryan, calling Bryan a troll and a dwarf. Daniel Bryan shows up before we get to hear what Maddox really thinks of him. Maddox leaves after Bryan says that the troll and dwarf comments came from Vine's mouth. Vince tells Bryan to respect him, but Daniel says respect is a two-way street and he hasn't gotten any after busting his butt night after night for several years. Vince tries to goad Bryan into thinking Cena is being less than truthful about what he said about Bryan, and says Bryan can't win tonight because he doesn't have ruthless aggression, also going so far as to say that Cena doesn't have it anymore either. The only winning Vince sees at SummerSlam is both Bryan and Cena spontaneously combusting in the ring. Daniel Bryan doesn't care what Vince thinks, but what the fans think...and the fans want him as their new champion.

Ryback threatens a random guy at the catering table...then has his way with him, putting him through a table.
Kane is hunting for The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Eric Rowan). Brad Maddox tells him that if he wants to send the Family a message, he can do that by beating Daniel Bryan in a match tonight.
Fandango flees, causing Rob Van Dam to beat him by count-out.
AJ Lee talks to Big E Langston, complaining about how Big E doesn't do anything ringside...but thinks it's because he likes her.
Kaitlyn beats AJ Lee. AJ loses it, then Dolph Ziggler shows up to congratulate her on her loss. She tells her that Big E can be her shoulder to cry on, and that she can return the favor when he beats Big E Langston right here, right now! The gauntlet has finally been laid down!
Dolph Ziggler beats Big E Langston by disqualification after AJ Lee attacks Ziggler in a rage. As Big E confronts AJ in the ring, Ziggler hits Langston with the Zig Zag!
Daniel Bryan confronts John Cena, who questions Vince McMahon's "honesty", then asks Daniel if he thinks he's a liar before walking away.
Alberto Del Rio will reveal his SummerSlam opponent this Friday on SmackDown!
Christian reverses the Cross Arm Breaker into a schoolboy pin to beat Alberto Del Rio.
Cody Rhodes beats Wade Barrett. Damien Sandow shows up minus his Money In The Bank briefcase and taunts Cody.
Daniel Bryan counters Kane's chokeslam into a small package to get the win. Kane chokeslams him afterward. Daniel Bryan heads to the back, then The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Eric Rowan, Luke Harper) show up and demolish Kane.
Brie Bella beats Natalya after a distraction with a duck call whistle by Nikki Bella. This comes after the Bellas call Natalya the "ugly duckling" of Total Divas, which debuted on E! Network last night, prior to the match.
CM Punk runs in during Curtis Axel vs. R-Truth. He beats up Axel and almost gets Paul Heyman, but Heyman escapes.
Triple H confronts Vince McMahon over Daniel Bryan having three matches last week. Stephanie McMahon shows up and proposes giving Daniel a "corporate makeover."
John Cena beats Ryback in a ables match. Daniel Bryan shows up and hands Cena the WWE title...only to pull it back and tells him it'll be his. Cena snatches it away and tells him he has to earn it. The show ends with Daniel Bryan starting a "Yes!" chant.
Randy Orton beats Damien Sandow, who is distracted by Cody Rhodes who steals Sandow's Money In The Bank briefcase and walks off with it!
CM Punk is here! He plans to beat Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman at their own game and make Heyman regret his greed at SummerSlam. Fandango comes out only to eat a GTS.
"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry and The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat Wade Barrett and The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil).
Vickie Guerrero talks to Alberto Del Rio backstage, and also get his chance to choose his SummerSlam opponent. Rob Van Dam shows up, and tells him he wants a shot at Del Rio's World Heavyweight Championship. Meanwhile, Damien Sandow is looking for Cody Rhodes.
Alberto Del Rio feigns injury to beat Rob Van Dam with a cheap shot.
Damien Sandow looks for Cody Rhodes...and meets up with Mark Henry and Booker T. He offends the latter by saying he used to be the SmackDown General Manager, and Mark Henry has to hold Booker back.
AJ Lee is in the ring with Big E Lanston. She says she's fine. (She's still crazy.) She also has Dolph Ziggler's housekeys and wants to let go of them. Ziggler shows up and says the locks have been changed a couple of times. AJ Lee has Ziggler's suitcase and tries to destroy everything. It doesn't faze him, and the crowd calls AJ a psycho. As AJ Lee leaves the ring, Kaitlyn Spears her. Ziggler then Zig Zags Big E.
The Wyatt Family (Eric Rowan and Luke Harper) beat Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai) in record time. After this, Bray Wyatt hits the Sister Abigail on Tensai, then tells Kane that if he's looking for him, he'll be here waiting with all of his friends.
Damien Sandow asks Vickie Guerrero is she's seen Cody Rhodes. She's called the authorities, but Damien knows he's running out of time.
Christian beats Jack Swagger. Damien Shows up after the match and demands that Cody Rhodes be arrested for grand larceny and fired. Cody Rhodes shows up on the TitanTron. He's across the street, near the Gulf of Mexico (this week's show took place in Corpus Christi, Texas). He also has the Money In The Bank briefcase for the World title. This spells disaster. Damien goes after him.
Damien Sandow confronts Cody Rhodes. He tries to talk Cody Rhodes, but he throws the briefcase in the Gulf of Mexico. Damien Sandow can't swim, but he goes for it in vain anyway. The show ends with the Money In The Bank briefcase sinking into the Gulf of Mexico and Damien sobbing.
Teddy Long is here! He praises Brad Maddox...as well as Vince McMahon, who is here tonight! Teddy Long is geting a job evaluation, and when he asks the WWE Universe if he's doing well and if they'd like to see him in the position for good, they cheer! Then Booker T shows up! He's back! Then Vince shows up. He asks both men which match they have for the main event. Teddy has Curtis Axel vs Chris Jericho for the Intercontinental title, while Booker has Alberto Del Rio vs Randy Orton. Brad Maddox shows up to remind everyone that tonight, Rob Van Dam returns to SmackDown. Vince then makes his decision: Vickie Guerrero? Vickie shows up and enters the ring, and tells the fans that she hates each and every one of them for firing her from the Raw GM position.
Dolph Ziggler beats Jack Swagger. After the match, Ziggler talks about how he dumped AJ Lee and apologizes...for not dumping her sooner! Backstage, AJ Lee loses it, but Big E Langston calms her down and kisses her forehead.
The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) vs The Shield (Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) becomes a 3-on-2 beatdown when Dean Ambrose jumps in. Mark Henry runs in and cleans house, and The Usos help him make it so!
Daniel Bryan beats Wade Barrett with the No Lock.
Brad Maddox congratulates Vickie Guerrero on becoming SmackDown General Manager...and gets slapped.
It's time for Miz TV! Paul Heyman is The Miz's guest. He gives Paul the microphone since he knows Paul will just lie or bend the truth. Heyman goes on about Brock Lesnar, then tells CM Punk to stay down so that Lesnar won't have to finish him off. Miz then figures out why Heyman lies all the time: it just makes him sound more threatening than he really is. He walks out of the ring to end the show, and Heyman introduces Miz to Curtis Axel, who enters the ring.
Curtis Axel retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against CHris Jericho after a distraction from Paul Heyman. After the match, Ryback demolishes Jericho.
Damien Sandow is in the ring. He insists Cody is still his friend and he has not backstabbed him, and that he will not react to Cody's attack on him from last week. He calls Cody out to explain himself. Cody shows up, but Damien Sandow forgives him and hands him an olive branch by letting him be the "protector of the case," letting Cody protect the blue Money In The Bank briefcase until Sandow cashes in. Cody takes it, then smacks Sandow with the briefcase before throwing it almost all the way to the top of the entrance ramp, making a massive dent in it.
Rob Van Dam beats Darren Young in his first SmackDown match in eight years.
Vickie Guerrero gets rid of Teddy Long by sicking security on him in sweet revenge from what happened last week.
Teddy Long gives Dolph Ziggler the night off so he doesn't interfere in Alberto Del Rio's match against Sin Cara later tonight.

Kaitlyn promises to win before calling AJ a crazy chick only to get slapped. Kaitlyn pushes the table - and a seated AJ - to the corner before climbing onto the table and beating her up. Big E Langston pulls Kaitlyn away only to get punched in the face by Kaitlyn - then Kaitlyn hits AJ with the Spear!

Fandango beats Wade Barrett as Team Rhodes Scholars (Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes) come out and get angry at Zeb Colter after he questioned their United States citizenship.
Alberto Del Rio gets beat up by Sin Cara, who is really Dolph Ziggler. He even lands the Zig Zag, making it obvious that it's Ziggler. Vickie Guerrero shows up and wants Teddy Long fired after ripping her ticket to the show up. Teddy Long shows up and sics security on Vickie.
Teddy Long confronts Sin Cara thinking he's Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler shows up saying he left his cellphone. Teddy Long and Sin Cara - the real Sin Cara - are confused.
Sheamus vs. Randy Orton ends when Daniel Bryan comes out, gets a ladder, plows through both men with it and goes up the ladder for the briefcase. Sheamus grabs Bryan and knocks him off, and goes for the briefcase only to be knocked off by Christian. Christian and Sheamus fight over the briefcase, then Bryan puhses the ladder down as Christian climbs up it. Randy Orton gets the last laugh, RKOing Bryan to climb up the ladder and get the briefcase.
Daniel Bryan comes out. For the first time in his 13-year career, his match against Randy Orton on RAW was stopped due to injury, even though he felt he could have gone on. He thinks WWE considers him to be the weak link, as does Daniel Bryan, who showed respect to him after the match. Daniel Bryan, however, felt Orton insulted him and showed "pity." D-Bry wants a rematch. Orton shows up, mouths "You're wrong" to him, and tells D-Bry the match was stopped because he couldn't defend himself...and that he showed respect instead of pity after the match. Daniel Bryan isn't convinced, obviously. Orton says that even if the rematch is stopped, he'll make sure D-Bry doesn't walk out under his own power.
Sheamus beats Cody Rhodes with the Cloverleaf...only to get beat up by Damien Sandow.

Curtis Axel retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Wade Barrett, then The Miz climbs in the ring. Paul Heyman pushes Axel away from an impromptu confrontation.
AJ Lee beats Natalya with the Black Widow as Kaitlyn and Layla watch from backstage. Aksana then insults Kaitlyn, calling her trash, and ends up with a garbage can full of trash dumped on her. The rest of the Divas have to hold them back.
Alberto Del Rio beats Chris Jericho by disqualification when Dolph Ziggler beats up Del Rio as Jericho puts an interfering Ricardo Rodriguez in the Walls of Jericho. Del Rio and Ricardo flee as Jericho puts Ziggler in a Codebreaker, then run back into the ring to further torture Ziggler.
Christian beats Drew McIntyre. After the match, he tells the Peeps it's great to be back, but The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) show up to cut the celebration short, this time by entering through the entrance ramp instead of the crowd prior to attacking Christian and hitting him with a three-man power bomb.
Renee Young interviews Paul Heyman and asks about Brock Lesnar attacking CM Punk. Since she wants to ask him about his "personal life," he grills Renee about hers before stating he and Punk are best friends...nothing more.
Daniel Bryan beats Randy Orton by count-out. D-Bry is ticked and wants the ref to restart the match.
Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez show up. Del Rio defends his vicious beatdown on Dolph Ziggler by saying that Ziggler took the World title from him the exact same way...picking the bones while he was injured. He says he's done everything for the WWE Universe, but they've "always cheered for the opponent." After saying he won the title for him, he decides to give the Universe another chance, and he'll show them why he's the best. CM Punk and Paul Heyman show up. Punk challenges Del Rio (even though Heyman is against it), and Del Rio doesn't want to go. Vickie Guerrero shows up with Brad Maddox and makes the match official.
CM Punk tells Paul Heyman he doesn't need his help winning matches and doesn't need him at ringside.
Wade Barrett finds out via Vickie Guerrero that his rematch against Curtis Axel for the Intercontinental title will have to wait. She's got another opponent for him: the returning Christian, who hasn't been in action in months!
Christian beats Wade Barrett.

Daniel Bryan and Kane talk. Once again, Daniel Bryan talks about having to prove himself, and says he has to win the WWE championship. Team Hell No is all but done.
On the WWE App, Randy Orton blames his and Daniel Bryan's loss last night on the latter.

Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton is almost called off after Orton lands an inadvertent low blow on Bryan. Randy Orton wins, then shows good sportmanship to a disappointed Bryan.
AJ Lee and Big E Langston come out. Once again, Doph Ziggler is out of action following another concussion at Payback. She then says there is no equal to her...and issues an open challenge to the back. Stephanie McMahon, of all people, shows up. She tells AJ to stop being the stereotypical vicious backbiter and to act like a real champion. AJ tries to verbally crap on her advice, but Steph reminds her she can take all her glory - and her job - away from her and that she can do the whole crazy thing better than AJ because she's a McMahon, dammit. The rest of the Divas show up as Stephanie McMahon leaves, and Steph warns them not to interrupt her ever again. Kaitlyn congratulates AJ Lee...then beats her up. Big E Langston has to rescue AJ and hold her back.
Dean Ambrose vs Kane ends when The Shield (Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) and Ambrose put Kane in a three-man powerbomb.
The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) mock Vickie Guerrero, and Vince McMahon congratulates them when she's about to inflict severe repercussions on the trio.
Zeb Colter shows up and talks about both national issues du jour...and Antonio Cesaro, who says "We the people." It's official: Cesaro is now in Colter's corner.
Antonio Cesaro beats William Regal. As he and Zeb Colter recite the Pledge of Allegiance, Cesaro drapes a "Don't Tread On Me" flag on Regal.
John Cena comes out. His favorite Superstars are the WWE Universe due to their honest. He will continue to perservere, and he says he's ready for any Money In The Bank Briefcase cash-in. Whoever beats him for the WWE Championship has earned it.
"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry shows up. John Cena is still in the ring. Mark asks Cena to stay in the ring, as he shows his respect to everyone in this business. He also says Cena will be the greatest champion of all time. After telling his family he's coming home, John Cena raises Mark Henry's hand. When they hug, Cena eats a World's Strongest Slam instead. Henry tells him he's got a lot left in the tank.
Renee Young interviews "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry. Henry's not going anywhere, and he is challenging John Cena for the WWE title. One of the boots in his hand is going up Cena's rear end.
Chris Jericho beats Heath Slater, then beats up Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal!
Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel are interviewed by Matt Striker. Heyman's just giving CM Punk some space. That's all.

Vince McMahon congratulates Vickie Guerrero and Brad Maddox on a great show. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H show up, however, and tell her the opposite. Each one tells Vickie to listen only to them. As for Mark Henry vs John Cena for the WWE title, it will happen at Money In The Bank.
Daniel Bryan will be able to fight against Dean Ambrose on SmackDown Friday night.
CM Punk beats Alberto Del Rio by count-out when Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez flee...only for Del Rio to be pounded on by Dolph Ziggler and chased out of the arena. Brock Lesnar then shows up, music and all. He grabs the mic, then puts Punk in an F5.
Daniel Bryan shows up and talks about his crazy WWE career. He then calls out Kane after calling Team Hell No "one of the greatest tag teams in history." D-Bry tells him they might split if he and Randy Orton win the tag titles at Payback. Kane is more worried about the six-man tag team with them and Orton against The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) tonight. D-Bry then hints and then confirms that if he and Orton beat The Shield at Payback, then it will mean Kane is the weakest link. Kane almost choke slams D-Bry, but Orton runs in and warns Kane that if he choke slams him, he'll eat an RKO. The three men argue until The Shield shows up on the Titantron, mocking and laughing at them.
Damien Sandow makes fun of Sheamus before the latter's match against Antonio Cesaro, saying Cesaro can speak five different languages while Sheamus can barely speak one. (Sheamus can actually speak both English and Irish Gaelic. Thanks.)

Teddy Long is earing some Hardee's when Dolph Ziggler, AJ Lee and Big E Langston show up. Dolph Ziggler complains about his tag team match against Alberto Del Rio and Chris Jericho, then all three of them leave after Ziggler promises he will win at Payback. Big E then comes back and eats half of Teddy's burger! Poor Teddy!

Renee Young interviews Chris Jericho. He plans on winning Sunday. Paul Heyman shows up, sides with CM Punk like he always does, then takes a microphone shot to the lips from Jericho.
Kaitlyn attacks Aksana before their match can begin, and the referee eventually gets slapped. (This later led to Kaitlyn being fined $10,000 for laying her hands on an official.) Aksana runs away as Kaitlyn lies down in the ring sobbing.
Wade Barrett makes a business proposition to Paul Heyman: save tonight's fight for Sunday. The Miz shows up and demands a fight...and so does the audience.
Curtis Axel beats Wade Barrett only to eat a Skull Crushing Finale from The Miz.
Kane, Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton beat The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) after Bryan locks in the No Lock. It's such a big deal that announcer Lilian Garcia mentions that The Shield have been defeated in six-man tag team action for the first time ever.
Stephanie McMahon is here! She's concerned about Triple H's well-being after the week before on Raw, and has made an executive decision not to allow him to compete tonight. This does not prove popular with the WWE Universe. Vince McMahon shows up and stands by Stephanie, asking the WWE Universe not to boo her before repeating her decision as if to make it final. The crowd still wants Triple H, and Vince has to remind them this is family entertainment, not blood sport, and uses Kofi Kingston vs. Ryback from last week as an example. He says that while Curtis Axel is beneath Triple H (like Steph before him), he then says the fans are beneath Triple H as well. All of a sudden, The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) show up. (Stephanie and Vince are able to leave the ring without incident during the commercial break.)
The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) beat Randy Orton and Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan and Kane) by pushing Orton into Bryan as everyone scrambles to get the win.
Daniel Bryan is even further convinced (and out of his mind) that he is the weak link of Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan and Kane) after arguing with Kane and Daniel Bryan. He then sets out to seek another match to earn their respect and prove he is not the weak link, since he can't do it against their recent opponents.
Triple H gets with Vince and Stephanie McMahon, and tells them he's fighting Curtis Axel tonight whether they want him to or not. Vince tells him not to do something he might regret later after a discussion about ego.
The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil).
Alberto Del Rio beats Big E Langston with the Cross Arm Breaker...as Langston's shoulders are down. Del Rio is now ahead of Langston three matches to two.
Damien Sandow guests on commentary for the next match, and promotes JBL's new book Fate of the States, which comes out tomorrow.
Sheamus beats Cody Rhodes. He tries to shake hands with Damien Sandow, who only slaps Sheamus's hands away...and gets smacked as a result.
Triple H angrily leaves, and tells Stephanie McMahon to tell Vince McMahon that he's facing Curtis Axel next week.
An angry Daniel Bryan meets Ryback, who makes fun of him before telling him to get in the ring with him later tonight.
Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel meet Vince McMahon. Triple H won't be fighting Axel anytime soon, but Axel does get a no-disqualification match against John Cena tonight.

As Wade Barrett fights The Miz, Fandango shows up and distracts Wade Barrett. This allows Miz to win with the Figure Four Leg Lock.
Jerry "The King" Lawler is now moderating the contract signing between Chris Jericho and CM Punk. Paul Heyman represents Punk for the signing. After some quick banter, Heyman signs. Before Jericho signs, Heyman asks him if he's truly ready. Jericho pretty much is, and after some hilarious attempts to change the location of the match, he signs. He then tells Heyman that if he acts like a jackass, he'll get treated like one. He then has an idea of where to file the contract: he tells Heyman to stand up and unbutton his jacket, and Jericho places it down Heyman's pants.
Kaitlyn and The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) beat AJ Lee and The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) after AJ leaves the Bellas high and dry.
Kane tells Daniel Bryan that what he's about to do is a mistake, but D-Bry still doesn't listen. He tells Kane not to get involved. Kane tells D-Bry he's out of his mind.
We see another promo for The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan).
After a brutal match, Ryback puts Daniel Bryan through a table. Bryan wins by disqualification. John Cena shows up and stops Ryback before he can put D-Bry through another one. Curtis Axel and Paul Heyman show up, and Ryback leaves through the crowd.

John Cena enters the ring. He knows his match with Ryback at Extreme Rules ended in controversy, and says Ryback's Ambulance match challenge was a knee-jerk reaction. Cena suggests a Three Stages of Hell match for Payback. The first match is a Lumberjack match, the second a Tables match, and the third an Ambulance match. Ryback shows up and accepts, telling Cena that he himself is hell. Paul Heyman then shows up and brings out Curtis Axel. Both men respect Cena as a fighting champion after what has just transpired, and challenge Cena to a fight with Axel later tonight. After Cena makes fun of Heyman and tells Axel he got lucky, he accepts.
Despite AJ Lee's interference by untying a turnbuckle pad, Big E Langston still couldn't beat Alberto Del Rio. Big E isn't very thrilled as AJ tells him she was trying to help.
Kane tries to tell Daniel Bryan he's not the weak link and that toughness has nothing to do with size. Bret "The Hit Man" Hart shows up and tells Bryan exactly what Kane's been trying to tell him after he stops him and Kane from arguing with each other. When Kane asks D-Bry why he won't listen to him, D-Bry replies "That's Bret Hart. You're...you're just Kane."
Dean Ambrose retains the WWE United States Championship against Kofi Kingston. As he, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins celebrate, Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan and Kane) show up and clean house! The tag team title rematch is next!
Thanks to a miscommunication between Daniel Bryan and Kane with D-Bry caught up with trying to prove he's not the weak link, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns retain the WWE Tag Team Championships.

Wade Barrett loses to Fandango when The Miz gets between both men, causing Barrett to toss Miz across the ring. In return, Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale on Barrett, and Fandango gets the win. Miz then pushes Summer Rae into Fandango, and counts to three for the "pin."
"The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels asks John Cena if he's ready, then tells him not to go through with tonight's challenge. Cena doesn't listen. (Yes, this was HBK with a beard. I kid you not.)
Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai) and The Great Khali beat 3MB (Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal). May they never mess with Hornswoggle again. After the match, Khali wishes Natalya a happy birthday.
It's Highlight Reel time! Chris Jericho's guest this time in Paul Heyman, who has discovered many talents in the wrestling world, including Jericho. Jericho wants to know about CM Punk and when he will return. After some hilarious dialogue, Heyman says there will be an announcement in the coming weeks concerning Punk's return. That's not good enough for Jericho, who wants a match against Punk at Payback. After toying with Heyman's emotions, Heyman accepts on Punk's behalf.
The Bella Twins (Nicole and Brie Bella) beat Natalya and Kaitlyn by tricking Kaitlyn into Spearing Natalya. They then make fun of Natalya's birthday.
Bret "The Hit Man" Hart meets with Curtis Axel. Bret tells Axel to dump Paul Heyman, but Axel won't listen, saying Heyman was the only one who gave a crap about him.

It's Miz TV time! His guest tonight is Fandango. Footage of Fandango leaving Wade Barrett high and dry Monday night is replayed, and Miz questions Fandango's inflated ego. Wade Barrett shows up and threatens to destroy "the ballerina" if he crosses his path...and is then reminded by the Miz that he is defending his Intercontinental title against Miz tonight. Wade punches Miz. Both men brawl. The refs break it up.

The Miz beats Wade Barrett by disqualification when Fandango attacks Miz and assaults him...only for Fandango to eat a Bull Hammer from Barrett, who retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Kane tries to reconcile with Daniel Bryan, but is instantly misunderstood, with D-Bry saying he is not the weak link of the team.
Daniel Bryan beats Jack Swagger with the No Lock. The ref and Kane have to let him go...the he locks it in again and Kane has to break it up once more. Daniel Bryan is looking rather tense after the match.
Damien Sandow is in the ring. He makes fun of both Mark Henry and Sheamus's competitive antics. He then mentions the legend of the Gordian Knot. which he has on the table. Matt Striker, also in the ring, looks at it and gives up. Sheamus shows up as Sandow makes fun of Striker. Sheamus wants to solve the knot problem, but Sandow won't let him. He takes the knot away from him and cuts it with a tree branch cutter. It's all one rope, after all. Sheamus almost Brogue Kicks Sandow, but Sandow gets away, making fun of Sheamus "using brute force when he couldn't figure it out." Sheamus then teaches Sandow about Newton's Law. After kicking the rope to Sandow and then throwing Striker into Sandow (who is still outside of the ring), he says that what goes up must come down.
Chris Jericho beats Big Show by count-out with an epic Codebreaker. Big Show tries to attack Jericho with a chair, but Jericho is still able to retaliate!

The show starts with John Cena hitting the ring. His Achilles tendon is not wrapped up anymore. After some Daniel Bryan references, he says he'll take on Ryback at Extreme Rules. Vickie Guerrero shows up and wants to make the match "extreme" with input from both men in the match, and sends Ryback out. Cena makes fun of Ryback, and then says he doesn't care what the stipulation is. After Vickie chastises Ryback for walking out last week, she lets him choose the stipulation. Ryback makes the match a Last Man Standing match.

Damien Sandow parodies "Voices" before his match with Randy Orton.
Randy Orton beats Damien Sandow. Big Show attacks Orton with his knockout punch as the camera is focused on the commentators, forcing the cameras to cut to Big Show standing over a downed Orton.
Chris Jericho shows up. He's set up a judge's panel so that he and two other people can judge Fandango's wrestling abilities. Those two other people are Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and Tensai). When Fandango, he says Jericho has no right to judge him despite being on Dancing With The Stars.
Fandango walks away due to the judge's panel giving R-Truth's dancing high marks. R-Truth gets the win via count-out.
Josh Mathews interviews Daniel Bryan. He challenges Ryback to a SmackDown rematch, but Ryback shows up and tells him to forget about it as D-Bry isn't half the man he is. Kane shows up from behind Ryback and challenges him, but Ryback says Kane's not the monster he used to be...and that he's the monster of WWE.
Kane will face Ryback tonight as per Vickie Guerrero.
In the middle of Alberto Del Rio vs Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter intimidate Big E Langston before guesting on commentary.
AJ Lee distracts the ref, and Big E Langston tosses Alberto Del Rio into Jack Swagger. Swagger jumps Langston, then put Ricardo Rodriguez out of commission. Swagger then grabs a ladder from under the ring and beans Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio with it.
Kaitlyn, Natalya, Cameron and Naomi discuss Kaitlyn's mystery admirer, who is apparently a fellow nerd as proved by a text to Kaitlyn. Natalya asks The Great Khali to keep an eye out in the men's locker room for clues as to whom it might be. Everyone leaves, then The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella) appear and high-five each other.

Antonio Cesaro beats Zack Ryder, and says he wants a bigger challenge as nobnody can hold a candle to him.
Paul Heyman is on the TitanTron, and is live via satellite. He hows the footage of him and Brock Lesnar at WWE World Headquarters destroying Triple H's office. Heyman says he will encourage Lesnar to destroy Triple H. Triple H then shows up and enters the ring, and tells him who the real king of extreme is before revealing he has another office...the WWE Ring. He tells Lesnar and Heyman to swing on by next week, and if they try to tear it up, the WWE will fight back.
