Raw Deal - Raw Recap for August 19, 2013

John Cena shows up. He is surprised and disgusted about what happened at SummerSlam, when Triple H Pedigreed Daniel Bryan and let Randy Orton cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase . He thanks Daniel Bryan for last night, and for reminding him that a true Superstar is judged by what he does in-ring. He also reveals the fluid in his left elbow is the result of a torn tricep. Cena is getting surgery for it immediately and will be gone for four to six months. He then brings out a man who has earned everyone's respect: Daniel Bryan. Before Bryan can speak after Cena leaves, Stephanie McMahon shows up. She apologizes and says Triple H was doing what was best for business. Daniel Bryan doesn't care, and wants revenge. Even Stephanie's underhanded compliments don't help matters, and D-Bry slaps the microphone out of her hand. Stephanie then calls for security after getting another microphone. D-Bry starts a "No!" chant as he is escorted out.

Cody Rhodes beats Damien Sandow.

Brad Maddox mentions Dolph Ziggler's tweets from last night, which basically state that Ziggler distrusts Triple H after what happened last night. It is obviously because of this (even though Brad won't say it) that Ziggler has to take on The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) in a 3-on-1 handicap match tonight.

Paul Heyman is in the ring. He gloats about Brock Lesnar's win over CM Punk. Heyman is willing to forgive Punk and take him back.

The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) get trash talked on by the Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki Bella).

The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) beat AJ Lee and Layla.

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) beat Dolph Ziggler...and give him a three-man powerbomb.

Alberto Del Rio injures Sin Cara's wrist and hand to win by ref stoppage, yet still attacks him. Del Rio then plays the "Latino representative" again, but Ricardo Rodriguez returns for the first time since Del Rio betrayed him to tell him he's representing somebody new: Rob Van Dam. RVD and Del Rio brawl, and RVD gets the upper hand before Del Rio flees.

The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O'Neil) beat The Real Americans (Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro).

Renee Young interviews Big Show. He and Mark Henry want the tag titles. Brad Maddox shows up and takes over from there, saying that Big Show has spoke "disparaging remarks" about Triple H...so he puts Show in a 3-on-1 tornado handicap match.

Justin Gabriel and Zack Ryder check out some Foot Locker gear for a WWE Foot Locker sweepstakes...as does Fandango.

Ryback bullies another random person, this time in the locker room.

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) beat Big Show in a 3-on-1 tornado handicap match with a three-man power bomb.

CM Punk shows up. He dares a guy in the crowd to get in the ring and fight him for booing him. Then, he dares Paul Heyman to get out into the arena. Heyman shows up with Curtis Axel. Pnk can't compete because he's not medically cleared, but he's ready to apologize to Heyman...for not destroying him! He dares Heyman to get in the ring. Heyman then apologizes...for what Curtis Axel will do to him after the commercial break.

After the commercial break, Curtis Axel gets in the ring..and he and CM Punk brawl! Axel gets the upper hand and aims for Punk's injured knee, but in the end Punk ultimately laid him out.

Bray Wyatt squashes R-Truth.

Coming soon to WWE: Los Matadores!

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat 3MB (Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal).

Fandango attacks The Miz as he locks the Figure Four Leg Lock on Wade Barrett.

Daniel Bryan is back...and Brad Maddox lets Stephanie McMahon know.

The whole locker room is here for the Randy Orton coronation. Vince McMahon tells Triple H he did the right thing, and Triple H says he did it to ensure the future of the WWE. He says he likes Daniel Bryan and that it hurt him to do it, but he ends up using the same underhanded compliments as Stephanie McMahon did at the beginning of the show. He then brings out Randy Orton, who thanks Triple H. Triple H knows that D-Bry is in the building, and lets him come out. Daniel Bryan shows up, and before Daniel Bryan can say anything, he ends up being beaten up by The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns), who like the rest of the roster, was told not to touch Daniel Bryan by Triple H himself. Triple H stops them from using the three-man powerbomb, and lets Daniel Bryan enter the ring to say what he has to say to him...only to eat an RKO from Orton.
