Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 29, 2013

Vince McMahon shows up with Brad Maddox. Brad Maddox apologizes for letting John Cena pick his SummerSlam opponent, then Vince has fun with what Maddox supposedly said about Daniel Bryan, calling Bryan a troll and a dwarf. Daniel Bryan shows up before we get to hear what Maddox really thinks of him. Maddox leaves after Bryan says that the troll and dwarf comments came from Vine's mouth. Vince tells Bryan to respect him, but Daniel says respect is a two-way street and he hasn't gotten any after busting his butt night after night for several years. Vince tries to goad Bryan into thinking Cena is being less than truthful about what he said about Bryan, and says Bryan can't win tonight because he doesn't have ruthless aggression, also going so far as to say that Cena doesn't have it anymore either. The only winning Vince sees at SummerSlam is both Bryan and Cena spontaneously combusting in the ring. Daniel Bryan doesn't care what Vince thinks, but what the fans think...and the fans want him as their new champion.

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) beat The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) and "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry, then Henry throws them around!

Ryback threatens a random guy at the catering table...then has his way with him, putting him through a table.

Kane is hunting for The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, Eric Rowan). Brad Maddox tells him that if he wants to send the Family a message, he can do that by beating Daniel Bryan in a match tonight.

Fandango flees, causing Rob Van Dam to beat him by count-out.

AJ Lee talks to Big E Langston, complaining about how Big E doesn't do anything ringside...but thinks it's because he likes her.

Kaitlyn beats AJ Lee. AJ loses it, then Dolph Ziggler shows up to congratulate her on her loss. She tells her that Big E can be her shoulder to cry on, and that she can return the favor when he beats Big E Langston right here, right now! The gauntlet has finally been laid down!

Dolph Ziggler beats Big E Langston by disqualification after AJ Lee attacks Ziggler in a rage. As Big E confronts AJ in the ring, Ziggler hits Langston with the Zig Zag!

Daniel Bryan confronts John Cena, who questions Vince McMahon's "honesty", then asks Daniel if he thinks he's a liar before walking away.

Alberto Del Rio will reveal his SummerSlam opponent this Friday on SmackDown!

Christian reverses the Cross Arm Breaker into a schoolboy pin to beat Alberto Del Rio.

Cody Rhodes beats Wade Barrett. Damien Sandow shows up minus his Money In The Bank briefcase and taunts Cody.

Daniel Bryan counters Kane's chokeslam into a small package to get the win. Kane chokeslams him afterward. Daniel Bryan heads to the back, then The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Eric Rowan, Luke Harper) show up and demolish Kane.

Brie Bella beats Natalya after a distraction with a duck call whistle by Nikki Bella. This comes after the Bellas call Natalya the "ugly duckling" of Total Divas, which debuted on E! Network last night, prior to the match.

CM Punk runs in during Curtis Axel vs. R-Truth. He beats up Axel and almost gets Paul Heyman, but Heyman escapes.

Triple H confronts Vince McMahon over Daniel Bryan having three matches last week. Stephanie McMahon shows up and proposes giving Daniel a "corporate makeover."

John Cena beats Ryback in a ables match. Daniel Bryan shows up and hands Cena the WWE title...only to pull it back and tells him it'll be his. Cena snatches it away and tells him he has to earn it. The show ends with Daniel Bryan starting a "Yes!" chant.
