The Mae Young Classic 2018 - Recap for October 24, 2018
Toni Storm beats Meiko Satomura to advance to the finals of The Mae Young Classic. Both women bow to each other and hug in a show of respect after the match. Kairi Sane then shows up in the ring and presents Toni Storm with a bouquet of roses, while Triple H congratulates Meiko Satomura for making it this far on the stage. Toni Storm is then interviewed in the ring, and Storm says she just beat a legend and that she can stand in the ring and say she is living her dream. She says it is because of the women working their butts off in the back as well as the fans' support, and because of that, she is able to make her dreams come true. Triple H then congratulates Toni Storm on the stage.

Rhea Ripley beats Tegan Nox by referee stoppage to advance to the semi-finals of the Mae Young Classic after Tegan Nox injures her left knee (the one that is not in a brace) after landing awkwardly on the ramp on a tope suicida to the outside at the beginning of the match. The crowd chants "Thank you, Tegan!" and claps in respect as Tegan Nox is helped to the back.

The Mae Young Classic 2018 - Recap for September 26, 2018
We hear from Rachel Evers, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering. She wants to blaze her own path and reach the level that her father reached. Last year, she showed up a bright-eyed, star-struck girl, and she lost her focus. This year, that will not happen. She is here and focused after last year gave her a new level of preparation. We also hear from Hiroyo Matsumoto, who calls herself a "lady Godzilla." She says she will destroy anything, and says that when you see her in the ring, you will never forget her. She says that everyone should be excited to see her, as she will win the tournament.

We hear from Kavita Devi, who is proud of her home country of India, which in turn is proud of her for appearing at WrestleMania. She may have lost last year, but she is a powerhouse now and she will do anything for the trophy. We also hear from Kaitlyn, who has not been seen in a WWE ring in four years and has gone through a lot of personal stuff, including a tumultuous divorce. Now she is back, and she is a more confident person in and out of the ring than ever before.

The Mae Young Classic 2018 - Recap for September 5, 2018
We get a closer look at Chilean luchadora Zatara, who claims to fight an intelligent form of lucha libre and says that nobody will forget her name after this tournament. We also get a closer look at Tegan Nox, who likes to hit people hard and fly through the air while doing the unconventional. (Tegan Nox was almost at last year's tournament, but she suffered a torn ACL before she could take part.)
Tegan Nox advances to the second round of the Mae Young Classic against Zatara despite damage to her surgically repaired right knee during the match.

The Mae Young Classic - Episode 8
We hear from "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler, who says being in the ring and dismantling opponents is just business, but at the same time, she wants to send a message. If people weren't shaking in their boots before, they are now. We also hear from Mercedes Martinez, who says she has given her life in this business and that this is where he belongs, and that is culmination of all her hard work and dedication to this sport. Shayna Baszler says all of her fighting style and success is owed to having Martinez as a mentor. She looks at her with respect, but it all comes down to one match. She is not like any opponent Martinez has faced, and that she can't sleep on her. Martinez gives Baszler a lot of props to her, and has made her into a member of her squad. She can do anything and everything, and says Baszler doesn't know everything. She says this is teacher vs. student.

We also hear from Lacey Evans, who stands for what women fight for daily, and everything she works hard for and everything she does proves it is possible. Toni says that she feels sorry for Lacey Evans' neck already as she plans to get on the big stage and win it. Lacey says she has the physical strength advantage over Toni, and that she has to be quick and get that advantage first. She says that it will take a lot to stop her.

She says that the Mae Young Classic is a different audience for what she has been doing forever. Her only goal is to beat the person in front of her. Mia Yim knows who Baszler is, and knows that she is a fierce competitor, but she has trained for this and plans to surprise her. Bazsler has experience at a higher level that Mia Yim, and there is nothing anyone can throw at her that she cannot handle. She claims that she can beat Mia Yim by simply existing.

Dakota Kai says she wants this more than anything and wants to win the tournament, and that she is moving on to the next round.

Sugehit says Martinez should prepare herself, because she lacks her experience, as she is strong and aggressive and will destroy her. She is prepared to win the whole tournament. Martinez knows who Sugehit is, but all she needs is one shot. Nobody wants this more than her.

The Mae Young Classic - Episode 2
We hear from Xia Li, who is honored to show her unique talents in front of the WWE fans, having studied Kung Fu and Sanda, Chinese forms of martial arts and wrestling, respectively. She wants to bring the essence of Chinese culture the fans, and hope they get to know her as well as her culture. We then hear from Mercedes Martinez, who says that she is not a high-flyer and that she will knock someone straight out. She says that this will be Xia Li's first and only match, and that she will do what it takes to win as it is her time to shine.

We hear from Rachael Evers, who did not grow up with wrestling as her dad - legendary wrestling manager Paul Ellering - did not take his kids to shows or let them watch. Now being back and part of the wrestling world again, he sees how different it has become. Rachael says she can adapt to any style, and when the bell rings, everyone will know who she is. We then hear from Marti Bell, who moved from the Dominican Republic to New York as a child and became who she is now. She does not follow the pack, she leads it; at the end of the day, everyone will see what a powerful Dominican woman looks like.

We then hear from Sarah Logan, a backwoods girl from Kentucky who has done things most of the women in the tournament cannot even dream of. Having been raised as a farm girl, she had to kill what she wanted to eat for dinner, and she is no stranger to hard work. She saved her money to go to Japan and become a wrestler, and now she will work harder than anyone else in the tournament to make it.

The Mae Young Classic - Episode 3
We hear from Toni Storm, who has one hell of an attitude and a rock star energy. When she comes out to the ring, everything goes out the window. When she gets in the ring, she takes heads off, and she apologizes in advance to the damage she will cause anyone she gets in the ring with in the tournament. We then hear from Ayesha Raymond, who is able to deadlift more than 210 kg (approximately 463 pounds) and takes great pride in that. She sees felines, cats and panthers as being quite strong, and portrays herself as one in the ring. She was told all her life that she couldn't, and now she is in the ring to tell everyone she can.

We then hear from Dakota Kai, who has a quick, evasive style with a lot of strikes and hard kicks. She has spent the last ten years to get into the WWE, and to be here is such a big deal to her. She will do everything in her power to win the Mae Young Classic.

She has put all of her heart and soul into proving she can do all the things anyone else can't do and more, and while she is here to have fun, she wants to win. SHe wants to prove that she is bigger, stronger and better.

The Mae Young Classic - Episode 1
We hear from Princesa Sugehit (pronounced sue-HEY), who talks about the origin of her name (Princesa from being the only woman training in her gym, while Sugehit - originally spelled Sujei - comes from a queen of the stars) as well as how her outfit represents her evolution. She is proud to represent Mexico in the tournament, which she plans to win. We also hear from Kay Lee Ray, who says she is a hardcore daredevil who will do what it takes to win.

We also hear from Serena Deeb, who came into the business with plans to become the greatest women's wrestler in the world, but when her time in The Straight Edge Society (CM Punk, Joey Mercury, Luke Gallows, Serena) was cut short a lot earlier than expected, she abused alcohol and her career suffered for it. She views the tournament as her redemption, and she plans to work harder than anyone else.

She is not afraid to fight, and says she is not to be underestimated. We then hear from "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler, who has fought in mixed martial arts for 16 years and was top 10 in the world for eight of them. Now that she is in wrestling, there is a different rule set, but her offense has not changed. She hopes to prove that she is a legitimate bad-ass when she gets in the ring.

She picks people up and throws them down. She is not here to have fun; she is here to bring total destruction and she usually gets what she wants. We then hear from Abbey Leith, who calls Mae Young an inspiration and says that her Alligator Clutch was passed down from her trainers to her. She says she will fight through any situation and will not back down from anybody with her strike-based style, and she will do whatever it takes to win. She plans to be the first-ever winner of the Mae Young Classic.
Abbey Leith beats Jazzy Gabert after reversing a move into an Alligator Clutch to continue to the second round. Both women shake hands and show respect after the match, and Jazzy raises Abbey's hand afterwards.
