The Mae Young Classic - Episode 4

We hear from Renee Michelle, who is very excited and ready to put all her effort and hard work into the Mae Young Tournament. She wants to prove that the woman can be as good or even better than the men. She has the pizzazz, the charisma and the ambition to get what she wants to achieve. We then hear from Candice LeRae, who considers herself a "modern-day Mighty Mouse" who will throw herself off anything to get the victory. She says she is a high-risk wrestler, and makes it clear that her husband, NXT Superstar Johnny Gargano, is not the reason why she is here as she says she wants this more than anyone else.

We hear from Lacey Evans, "The Lady of NXT." She is a wife, mother, sister and a former United States Marine. She takes pride in what women fight for daily, and she is far from a pushover. She is hard-headed and does not give up, and everything she does prove to the world that it is possible. We then hear from Taynara Conti, who represents Brazil in the country. She has trained in judo for 15 years, and she will use all that experience to destroy anyone who thinks they can beat her.

We hear from Reina Gonzalez, the daughter of Ricky Gonzalez. She is a collegiate athlete and believes in coming in hard and fast to take her opponents by surprise, and does not plan on showing any mercy as she proves to the world who she is. We then hear from "The Queen of Suplexes" Nicole Savoy, who goes for throws when she's not making people submit or talking trash to her opponents. Everything she has worked for is paying off.

We hear from Tessa Blanchard, the granddaughter of Tully Blanchard, who says she becomes a completely different person when she hits the ring. She is glad to have her last name and does not expect to be handed anything, and wants to make her own name. We then hear from Kairi Sane, originally known in the Japanese wrestling world as Kairi Hojo and the only Japanese competitor in the tournament. She wants to deliver the Japanese style and have people watch the world over. She will enter as the only Japanese representative, win the championship and leave her mark among all the other women in the tournament.

Kairi Sane beats Tessa Blanchard to continue to the second round. Both women show respect after the match.
