Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for August 12, 2017

"The Heavy Metal Rebel" Frankie Kazarian shows up. He says he is not here for a friendly visit, and asks the audience if they respect "The Almighty" Christopher Daniels. The crowd cheers. He asks if they respect the contributions he and Daniels have made for Ring of Honor. The crowd cheers again. He finds this interesting, because last week, there was zero respect shown to him and the crowd booed him. He says that he has to look at the audience and say they are lying their asses off and do not respect even themselves. Speaking of Daniels, he does not know if he will compete in the ring again, as the audience does not deserve to watch him wrestle and probably are only here to throw streamers. Suddenly, a few people in the crowd throw streamers into the ring. Kazarian says this is not Japan and he hates streamers. He says the crowd is here to shout stupid chants. He then says he will take everything people love about ROH and ruin it because "they deserve it." He then calls the crowd "stupid marks" and leaves.

Punishment Martinez beats Flip Gordon. After the match, Martinez is attacked by Jay White as he makes his way to the back, and this starts a brawl in the aisle between both men that security has to break up.

We hear from Kenny King. Ever since the match was announced, he has wanted KUSHIDA. He says KUSHIDA's time is up, and that it is time for the reign of the King.

Colt Cabana interviews The Tempura Boyz (Sho and Yo), who speak in their native Japanese. Colt says there is only room for one pair of boys, and it is the Tempura Boyz.

Rhett Titus beats Cheeseburger after the distraction from Will Ferrara.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes says he has been everywhere and beaten everybody. He tells anyone who says they are working harder than he is to come find him, and that until then, their claim is false and the ROH World Championship is truth.

Dalton Castle and The Boys show up. He says that he has Colt Cabana is running his mouth on commentary, and reminds he can hear every word he is saying. He says that if Colt Cabana thinks he can beat him, even with his own boys, there is no way he will be winning. Dalton Castle decides to make this a thing, and even puts the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships on the line and makes it for next week. It ends up being signed for next week.

We see a vignette for Shane Taylor.

KUSHIDA retains the ROH Television Championship against Kenny King by disqualification when he is attacked by Hangman Page and "The Villain" Marty Scurll...almost. After the break, Kenny King takes the microphone and says he has waited too long to have the match spoiled by "Bullet Club's B-Team." He tells KUSHIDA this isn't over between them yet, then asks for the privilege of teaming up against Page and Scurll. He agrees, and the tag match is official.

Kenny King and KUSHIDA beat Hangman Page and "The Villain" Marty Scurll. King and KUSHIDA shake hands after the match.
