205:Alive - 205 Live recap for August 15, 2017

Before the next match, Drew Gulak says "The Premiere Athlete" Tony Nese called him up, saying he has beaten Cedric Alexander and Gran Metalik in the past few weeks, and wants to know who to give a rematch to first. Gulak, believing in a better 205 Live and not being a fan of showoffs, says they might as well make this a tag team athlete, then puts Nese on a pedestal.

Cedric Alexander and Gran Metalik beat "The Premiere Athlete" Tony Nese and Drew Gulak.

Noam Dar and Ariya Daivari talk about Neville losing the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Lince Dorado is there. Neville catches Noam Dar talking as he says "Ding dong, the king is dead." Everybody backs away. We then notice that Neville is holding a chair. He throws it and yells. He is not happy that he lost the Cruiserweight title last night.

The Brian Kendrick vs. Mustafa Ali ends when Kendrick is attacked from behind by "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher. Kendrick flees into the crowd.

Rich Swann says he is ready to rub it in TJP's face when he beats him again, and that TJP will learn he is not the only one who can do a victory dance. Suddenly, Ariya Daivari shows up. He says TJP is out for tonight, and that he is his new opponent. Daivari then tells Swann he should focus less on TJP and more on what is going to happen to him tonight.

Ariya Daivari beats Rich Swann after TJP shows up on crutches, distracting Swann. Daivari pulls Swann down from the top rope and hits the hammerlock lariat for the win.

A paranoid The Brian Kendrick is trying to leave when Dasha Fuentes interviews him. Kendrick is paranoid of "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher attacking him from behind when suddenly, he has an idea: do things "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher's way, and challenge him to a duel next week. He says that if Gallagher has any honor, he will accept.

Titus O'Neil shows up and introduces Akira Tozawa for his Cruiserweight Championship celebration. Akira Tozawa shows up in a suit with the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Titus briefly talks about Tozawa's title win, then lets Tozawa have the podium. Tozawa says this is an important moment for him as Titus pulls out the champagne, and says this was his big dream for many years. Titus opens the champagne bottle, and the drink goes everywhere. Titus then thanks Akira Tozawa, for sticking to the dream and making his championship dream - and Titus' dream of Titus Worldwide - a reality. As Titus and Tozawa celebrate, Neville shows up.
