Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by PRO Shingle recap for August 10, 2019

The show starts with a tribute to Harley Race.

David Marquez introduces Eli Drake to the ring. Eli Drake talks about his history in Championship Wrestling From Hollywood, how he was the first ever Heritage Championship and how he was managed by Percy Pringle III, then says he has come home. He says he heard "The Cowboy" James Storm mention him after being in NWA for a short while, then tells Storm that he doesn't need to bark up his tree and that Storm is like a Roomba: he keeps going until he hits a wall, and the rest of the time, he sucks. He them mentions that he has one mission since entering NWA, his one goal is to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, and then tells everyone not to blink on him as he will eventually win the title.

Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster The Legend) beat Ray Rosas and Jordan Clearwater following some miscommunication between Rosas and Clearwater. After the match, Reno Scum accept The Rocknes Monsters' (YUMA and BHK) challenge to a steel cage match.

Robert Baines beats Aguila.

Backstage, John Roberts interviews Howdy Price, who looks forward to having Rogelio win gold from whoever he can get it from.

Ty Matthews beats Caleb Perez. After the match, Kathy Campanelli interviews Ty Matthews, who says the person he has his eye on as a protege is not only in the building, but is sitting nearby, and all he has to do is take in the teachings of Hyperoptimism and be well.

Adrian Quest vs. "Uptown" Andy Brown for the CWFH Heritage Championship is suddenly postponed by Nikko Marquez, who suddenly shows up as the match gets going. Nikko Marquez says he does not like Andy Brown and Adrian Quest - even though he likes the CWFH Heritage Championship - and that he has a very special guest and a very special match right after the commercial break. During the break, Andy Brown almost takes his frustrations out on Nikko Marquez on his way to the back, but he is stopped by two referees before he can do so.

"The Cowboy" James Storm shows up. He has noticed that Eli Drake, Nick Aldis and some of the very best have been here, and he had to see Championship Wrestling From Hollywood for himself. Storm says he has looked up and down the roster for anyone who could headline anywhere, and he has hand-picked an opponent for a title defense that he sees as one of the very best up-and-comers in pro wrestling right now: Piranacanrana (formerly Pirana).

"The Cowboy" James Storm retains the NWA National Heavyweight Championship against Piranacanrana. After the match, Storm tells everyone to take notice, for he is back in the game.

Dicky Mayer beats Richie Slade following the distraction by Ty Matthews.

At ringside, Kathy Campanelli interviews "Professional" Peter Avalon. After some David Arquette movie name jokes, Avalon tells Arquette he will show what he and Hollywood is about when he breaks Arquette at Coastline Clash and makes him less than photogenic.

Heather Monroe beats Sarah Wolfe in the latter's singles debut after grabbing the tights during a schoolkid pin following the distraction by Halston Boddy.

Adrian Quest beats Super Beetle.

Rogelio beats Caleb Perez. After the match, Kathy Campanelli interviews Howdy Price, who proclaims that Rogelio will become Heritage Champion and placing the title on his Cadillac when he comes back to the ranch.

Backstage, Royce Isaacs says he is tired of hearing about Bateman and seeing him during his matches with the PP3 Cup, and tells him that if he wants a shot at the United Television Championship, he's got it at Coastline Clash. He states that the real "main man" will be the one who leaves with the title.

The Upper Class (Royce Isaacs, Chris Bey, Suede Thompson) beat The Rocknes Monsters (YUMA and BHK) and Luchasaurus after Luchasaurus chases Jimmy Iovine to the back when Iovine tries to distract him with a flare.

Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by PRO Shingle recap for April 13, 2019

It is announced that Royce Isaacs and Jimmy Iovine will not be here to defend the UWN Television Championship this week due to contractual obligations already having been met.

Peter Avalon beats Brandon Cutler with the half-crab after grabbing the ropes to block a Diamond Cutler. In a post-match interview, Avalon says someone has made a name for themselves without giving him crediting, and says that without him, he would be nothing. He calls out actor David Arquette for Coastline Clash at the Irvine Improv.

Adrian Quest beats "The Skateboard Scumbag" Sketch.

The Soul Burners (Ryan Taylor and Thomaste) beat Max X and Caleb Perez. In a post-match interview, Thomaste says he cannot stop flapping his wings as they are going nowhere but up, but Ryan Taylor says it is time to get serious as it is time to take on Vermin (Kevin Martinson and Johnny Yuma) after what they have done to them.

Backstage, "Uptown Andy Brown says that CWFH deserves a fighting champion, and as he states that he will defend the Heritage Championship against anyone, Adrian Quest shows up and tells him hes got his eye on the title.

Gentleman Jervis beats Royce Isaacs with an inside cradle after Bateman shows up with the PP3 Tournament Cup and teases cashing his championship opportunity on Royce Isaacs' UWN Television Championship.

In an attempt to make up for last week's cake fiasco, host Dustin Starr cuts the celebratory cake only for Memphis Redbirds mascot Rocky the Redbird to plant his face in the cake from behind.

"Professional" Peter Avalon beats Caleb Perez with a single leg crab in his first match after recovering from surgery. After the match, Avalon says Championship Wrestling From Hollywood is his home, and after a lot of thinking, he knows what he wants and states that he will stop at nothing until he gets it.

We see highlights from a recent Memphis Grizzlies "wrestling night" basketball game involving Buff Bagwell, The Steiner Brothers (Rick and Scott Steiner), Rikishi and Jerry "The King" Lawler.

Backstage, Brandon Cutler says he is aware that Jamie Iovine will be at ringside, but he does have a history with Royce Isaacs. Culter says family is not a weakness; he is proud to be a family man and a dork, and proclaims that everyone will see who the real dork is when he takes the Television title from him.

Dicky Mayer beats Takeshi Minamino after throwing an elbow pad at Takeshi. After the match, Ty Matthews states that the sacrifice of Jordan Clearwater is necessary, and warns Ray Rosas that tampering with that sacrifice will stop things bigger than him. He warns him to stay out of his business, or else he will be set on a path to wellness.

Watts beats "D-Man" Dan Parker. During the match, Watts takes the microphone and demands his music be played early - as the match is already over in his mind - then he hits Parker with a choke bomb for the win.

Before the next match, Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster The Legend) says that they are back and that after what happened to Double Platinum (Suede Thompson and Chris Bey), everyone should just pack up and go home.

Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe and Luster The Legend) beat JK Frizm and Jeffrey Excellence. After the match, CWFH Minority Owner Nikko Marquez shows up and welcomes Reno Scum back, and announces that they will get a shot at the United Tag Team Championships in a triple threat tag team match along with The Rocknes Monsters (YUMA and BHK) and Double Platinum (Suede Thompson and Chris Bey).

Royce Isaacs retains the United Television Championship against Brandon Cutler following the distraction by Jamie Iovine. Before the match begins, Cutler lays out Jamie Iovine with a Diamond Cutler, but it is not enough to take him out for the entire match.

At the end of the episode, hosts Maria and Dustin Starr celebrate a successful first episode with some cake, but Dustin drops the cake, much to Maria's chagrin.
