Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling From Memphis recap for October 16, 2021

We see footage of "The GunShow" Brett Michaels celebrating with the fans after last week's Memphis Heritage Championship victory.

"The GunShow" Brett Michaels beats Tyler Knight. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews Brett Michaels, who says there is a new man in the house and that he was the man to begin with, and to get ready for "the era of The GunShow."

We hear from Diana Taylor. She says Skylar tried to take her knee out last week, but she has something for her: a DDT.

Sarah Wolfe beats Gemma Jewels.

We see another vignette for Warsaw.

Dustin Starr interviews Shane Russell, the son of late legendary Memphis Wrestling announcer Lance Russell. Before the interview can get anywhere, "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock shows up. Blaylock makes fun of Shane's "banana nose," and Shane says he would not have come here in one of his father's jackets if he knew Blaylock would show up, and says that Lance said that Blaylock is like a snake in the grass who was not to be trusted. Blaylock says Lance was biased and that he did nothing but insult him, then tears up a picture of Lance in front of Shane, who then grabs Blaylock by the shirt collar only to be attacked from behind by The Revenant of Walker Hayes. Hayes and Blaylock then pull off and violate the jacket before Hayes attacks Shane Russell some more. Security and referees have to pull Hayes off of Shane Russell and force him and Blaylock to the back.

"Big Swole" Justin Cole beats Martin after Jay Smooth and Kross grab Martin's foot, not knowing it is Martin, allowing Justin Cole to hit the Swole Slam for the win. With this and two body slams earlier in the match, that is $75 donated to the fight against cancer.

We hear from Mike Anthony, who says he has been overlooked time after time after time. He says that last time he sent a warning, and now, he is done talking, and next week, it is time to be about that action.

Dustin Starr interviews Austin Lane at the announce table. Austin Lane, whose arm is still in a sling, says he wants K-Toomer in the ring and promises it will not be long before he is medically cleared and K-Toomer is his. Suddenly, K-Toomer shows up, and Austin Lane fights him. K-Toomer gets Austin Lane in the ring and hits him with a big splash, hurting his arm. "Smokin' Hot" Nikki Lane fights K-Toomer and gets taken out, then someone shows up with a chair. This is Austin and Nikki's friend from Arkansas, Matt, and the chair has no effect when he hits K-Toomer with it. K-Toomer grabs Matt and hits him with the Big Bang.

We see Gentleman Jervis at Tops Bar-B-Q. As he is about to have his meal, he suddenly realizes he does not have a mouth.

Amber Rodriguez guests on commentary for the next match.

Skyler beats Diana Taylor following the distraction from Amber Rodriguez.

We hear from multiple tag teams about the upcoming Tag Team Turmoil Match to decide #1 contenders for the Memphis Tag Team Championships. As we do, Danny B. Good - who has gotten Derrick King fired up over the last few weeks - gets Derrick King to team up with him one more time.

The Yung GOATs (Aaron Roberts and Zay Washington) guest on commentary for the next match.

The team of Derrick King and Danny B. Good beat The Skimahorns (Brad and Briar Skimahorn), the team of "Casanova" Colton Cage and Ryan Pyles and Country Rock (Carter Matthews and Chris Hayes) in a Tag Team Turmoil Match to become #1 contenders for the Memphis Tag Team Championships.

Championship Gold - Championship Wresting presented by PRO Shingle recap for May 25, 2019

Before the next match, Howdy Price mocks "Uptown" Andy Brown and Adrian Quest before revealing that neither of them are facing Rogelio; instead they are facing Fidel Bravo and Pinx.

"Uptown" Andy Brown and Adrian Quest beat Fidel Bravo and Pinx after Quest tags himself in to hit a running Shooting Star Press on Pinx following Brown hitting Pinx with the COD, a result of both Brown and Quest trying to one-up each other throughout the match.

Backstage, John Roberts interviews Heather Monroe, who says that Bateman and Sarah Wolfe are at a disadvantage due to being husband and wife, for she and Royce Isaacs know they are winners and have no reason to argue. Royce Isaacs has no confidence problems coming into Coastline Clash, and that is why he is the Television Champion.

Before the next match, "Professional" Peter Avalon attacks Joey Ryan as the latter makes his way to the ring and injures Ryan's right knee with the ring bell. Nevertheless, Joey Ryan ambles his way to the ring and demands that the match be started.

"Professional" Peter Avalon beats Joey Ryan with the Golden Arch on Ryan's injured knee after working on the knee throughout the match. After the match, John Roberts interviews Avalon, who tells David Arquette that he is done talking and that he will let his actions speak for him before going back into the ring and taking the boots to Joey Ryan before putting him in another Golden Arch.

Kathy Campanelli interviews Bateman and Sarah Wolfe backstage. Wolfe knows Heather Monroe and Royce Isaacs can talk a big game about confidence, and Bateman says that money cannot buy The Upper Class confidence. He says that Jimmy Iovine is jumping at shadows.

The Upper Class (Heather Monroe and Royce Isaacs) beat Bateman and Sarah Wolfe in a mixed tag team match after Isaacs kicks Bateman into both Heather Monroe and Sarah Wolfe and grabs the tights during a schoolkid pin after Halston Boddy and Jamie Iovine are ejected from the match.

The show ends with Dustin Starr challenging Maria Starr to a barbecue rib-eating contest, with the ribs courtesy of Tops BBQ.

He states that the real "main man" will be the one who leaves with the title.

The Upper Class (Royce Isaacs, Chris Bey, Suede Thompson) beat The Rocknes Monsters (YUMA and BHK) and Luchasaurus after Luchasaurus chases Jimmy Iovine to the back when Iovine tries to distract him with a flare.
