An angry Kevin Owens shows up in the timekeeper's area, and says Shane McMahon should know the truth. He says that the McMahons - especially Shane - has gotten more TV time than anyone and that nobody wants Shane on television. As a result, everybody has to listen to Shane call himself "best in the world," and it makes him angry enough to bash his head on the commentary table. Shane demands that Owens' mike be cut, and Owens' mike is cut. Owens grabs another microphone, but Shane goes to the sound area as Kevin Owens yells at him so he can cut the second microphone. Owens then grabs a commentary headset, then Shane sics security on him. Owens then escapes through the crowd and leaves.

Backstage, Shane McMahon meets with Drew McIntyre and Elias. McIntyre says they have not only the clear physical advantage, but the clear mental advantage. Elias says he has the perfect funeral song for The Undertaker. Suddenly, Dolph Ziggler shows up, still wanting a piece of Kevin Owens in the ring. Shane decides to pit Ziggler against Roman Reigns in tonight's main event, and says that he, Elias and McIntyre will be out there with him tonight.
We hear from Samoa Joe, who says that Kofi Kingston can deny the truth all he wants, but it cannot change the facts. He says he offered Kofi compassion and offered clemency to those he loved, and that Kofi refused it because he is everything he expected him to be. At Extreme Rules, he will tear down the last of the lie and expose Kofi for who he is before putting him to sleep and take back everything he has taken from those he loves alongside the WWE Championship.
In the ring, Kayla Braxton introduces Nikki Cross (who represents Alexa Bliss) followed by Bayley for a contract signing for the two-on-one handicap match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship at Extreme Rules. Bayley says she is here only to sign the contract and acknowledges that Nikki is here, but not Alexa Bliss. Bayley says she was manipulated by people who only cared about themselves, and she learned to become a champion on her own. Nikki gets mad at Bayley, but Bayley tells Nikki that Alexa is in her head. She then asks Nikki if she is really okay with helping somebody else win a championship before admitting she is bringing everything she has in the face of impossible odds. She then asks Nikki what she will do when she and Alexa lose and Alexa blames her for the loss, but Nikki says Bayley doesn't understand anything because her friends abandoned her. After Bayley signs the contract, Nikki then says that Alexa has promised they will become co-champions before signing the contract. She then asks Bayley to stick around for her match with Carmella, for when she gets to play, she gets all the fun.
Nikki Cross beats Carmella.

The New Day (Big E and Xavier Woods) show up. Woods says that he has a Triple Threat Match tonight against Otis and "The New" Daniel Bryan, and on Sunday, he and Big E have a SmackDown tag team title match. Big E says this is not his idea of being in a three-way on Sunday. As he says that they will become six-time tag team champions on Sunday, Daniel Bryan and Rowan show up. Daniel Bryan says the fans should be booing the new day, for despite pinning Big E and Rowan putting Big E through a table, The New Day still make jokes and fail to take their match seriously because nobody else takes them seriously. Woods tells Daniel Bryan he talks too much without saying anything, and says he wants to hear what Rowan has to say, stating that Rowan has taken orders from so many people that he and Big E don't know who his daddy is. This leads to "Who's your daddy?" chants from the fans, and Daniel Bryan says The New Day is deflecting true criticism with humor and jokes, and despite being talented and having great tag team matches, they never escape the middle of the card and are a comedy act. He then says the only thing worse than The New Day winning the SmackDown tag team titles are Heavy Machinery (Tucker and Otis) winning them, as they follow in their footsteps. Heavy Machinery show up. Tucker says they get that Daniel Bryan is the best, the greatest and the champ, but at Stomping Grounds, there was no denying that he and Otis took him and Rowan to the limit. Since then, they have gotten back to work, and last week, they beat Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens to earn an opportunity at the SmackDown team titles. Tucker and Otis agree they are blue collar solid, which means they can overcome any obstacle, including The New Day, and that they will become SmackDown tag champs and show that there is no party like a blue collar solid party. Otis reminds Tucker that that is Sunday, and tonight, he, Daniel Bryan and Woods have a match and he is coming.
Otis beats Xavier Woods and "The New" Daniel Bryan in a Triple Threat Match. During the match, Big E, Tucker and Rowan are all ejected from ringside after Big E and Tucker run right into Rowan and send him over the commentary table to stop a claw slam to Woods on the commentary table.

He says there is no monster that he is afraid to dance with, and if you don't show up to dance, you don't win the fight.
We hear from Aleister Black. After being told that his opponent is not revealing himself at this time, Aleister applauds his opponent, but at this point, he does not care who his opponent is, for he will beat him. Suddenly, somebody sits on the right side of the screen. They are wearing a white suit, and when the man sits down, it s revealed to be Cesaro.
