Generation NXT UK - NXT UK recap for July 3, 2019

Rhea Ripley shows up suddenly to start tonight's show. She says she and Piper Niven have gone back and forth for weeks and that she is tired of Piper thinking she is the most dominant woman in NXT UK. She proposes that they settle this right now instead of later in the show, and Piper Niven shows up. This starts a match.

Piper Niven beats Rhea Ripley.

In footage from earlier today, "The Lucky Yin" Kenny Williams is suddenly attacked by Noam Dar in the mud, and Noam Dar tells William to stay in the tag division - and the mud - where he belongs.

Next week: Ilya Dragunov!

Alexander Wolfe beats Jack Starz in his NXT UK debut.

In footage from earlier today, Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang) says that they have had only "one home game" and "a hell of an away game, then promises to put "Bomber" Dave Mastiff and The Hunt ("Wild Boar" Mike Hitchman and "The Primate" Jay Melrose) back on a leash.

Next week: Toni Storm in action!

Jazzy Gabert beats Dani Luna and Mercedes Blaze in a two-on-one handicap match.

We hear from Kassius Ohno, who says that NXT UK is in "a state of emergency" and that it needs something like him to protect the integrity of British wrestling. After considering Pete Dunne, Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven), Wolfgang and Mark Andrews "the founding five," he calls Mark Andrews a follower and not an authentic British wrestler, saying he throws superkicks because of "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and not Chris Adams, and that his potential has been wasted. Ohno states that there is nobody more passionate about British wrestling than him, and that he is the best British wrestler in the world.

Next week: Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang) vs. "Bomber" Dave Mastiff and The Hunt ("Wild Boar" Mike Hitchman and "The Primate" Jay Melrose)!

Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven) beat Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) by disqualification after Imperium (Walter, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel, Alexander Wolfe) interferes. After the match, Imperium continues to viciously attack Moustache Mountain, then handcuff Trent Seven to the corner before Walter powerbombs Tyler Bate, twice on the ring apron and once on the ring post. Wolfe throws the keys to the handcuffs into the crowd before Imperium poses on the ring apron.
